Devries Moving did a tremendous job for us. Moving is such a stressful event in any event, yet the guys were cool and calm and were simply amazing. From packing to loading to delivering, everything was handled beautifully. And the job even ended up being under budget. I would highly recommend!

Broke my computer desk moving it into the new house. Said they wouldnt cover it as it had fibre board in it. Told them I could fix it. Eddie told me to call when fixed and they would come and move it upstairs for me. Called and talked to Kathy, when fixed, and she said she would tell Eddie it was ready and call me back when they could come. Ive called her 5 times, because she has not called me back, and still get the same run around -- they are so busy and they meant to call me back but dispatcher not there to schedule a time. I also told her they could pick up the 5 moving blankets they left here. The last call she told me the same thing, its been over 3 weeks now, so I told her to forget it and I would find someone else to do it and I was putting the 6 nice blankets out for trash pick up as I dont have room to keep them. Didnt seem to bother her at all. Bottom line is if everything goes well they arent too bad but if there is a problem, after youve paid them then forget it. Go with 2 Men and a Truck or College Hunks.

I highly recommend this moving company. The movers were very courteous, punctual, and careful with making sure they handled everything perfectly. I will use them in the future if I need things moved. Thanks Charles and crew for a job well done!

I would have given more stars to this company if it was not for the fact that they damaged a piece and claimed it was previously existing but such a ding was not brought to my attention before packing.The piece was purchased brand new and never moved before.

This company came and moved my family last week. Everything went awesome. Ashley from the office kept in constant contact with us and updated us as the date approached. This was a No stress move and guys were super helpful and took special care and attention to our valuables. We have already referred my in-laws and my coworkers. I will definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

Started out strong but finished horrible. Among damaged items was a dining room set chair (completely crushed) but we were promised by mover in charge full replacement. After numerous calls I finally received a claim form. Send that to DeVries office manager. Received excuse after excuse after excuse. Year later still no reimbursement and I didn’t get the impression she or the company cared. We also received a call month after we moved that movers left a piece of an expensive lamp leaning in th3 fence. We had already thrown the lamp out.

With very little notice i had to empty a house and make arrangements from 2,000+ miles away. I found DeVries through BBB. Eric responded right away, went to the house, and gave me an estimate. I appreciated that the final bill was at the low end of the estimate. Ashley and Eric made everything very clear and answered all of my questions. Ronnie, Greg, and Bret were very nice and did a wonderful job packing things up. I was very impressed with them and with my entire experience with DeVries. They made a things easier at a difficult time.

My husband and I moved this past weekend with DeVries. Eric and his staff were very accommodating to our changing schedule. The gentlemen sent the day of the move were on time, hardworking and respectful. Thank you all for your help! 2 thumbs up.

DeVries Moving came to my 89 year old Mothers home in West Palm Beach and packed up all her belongings. Everything was superbly wrapped and packed. The men were so nice and helpful and only 1 thing was broken, a very cheap lamp. Excellent job and the price was very reasonable .

They did a great job moving my parents from a home they had lived in for 19 years. Very efficient packers, nothing broken, and they even sent someone back to fix the set up of an entertainment center that was a little tricky

Moving is never an easy process.We were consolidating two homes into one. Choosing the right mover can make or break a move. We were fortunate to have found DeVries Family Moving. They were the destination agent for our interstate move, so we chose them for our in-state move from Broward County to Port St. Lucie. It was the wisest choice we could have made. On the local move, the team showed up on time, and they were a joy to work with. They were efficient, careful and fun to be around. When the day ended and the last box was unloaded and we bid farewell to Joey and William, we felt as if two friends had departed from our new home. Everything was carefully packed, and they handled our valuables as though they were their own. A few days later, they handled the unload of our interstate shipment. Niko and Hughston were equally professional, careful and caring. They moved things as we wanted, arranged boxes so we could have an easier time unpacking. There were a few issues with the shipping agent for Wheaton, but DeVries managed those for us as well. Clearly DeVries Family Moving takes its lead from Eric DeVries, who was always willing to step in and assist when we needed help. We hope never again to move, but if we did, DeVries would be our only call. Simply put, movers dont get any better than this.

I had DeVries move my larger pieces of furniture into my storage unit today in Jupiter. Yesterday, the owner Eric came out and provided me a quote. The movers this morning showed up on time (actually a little early) and were friendly and did a great job. Everything was wrapped up nicely and moved without any damage to my furniture or walls. They took everything and unloaded it to my storage unit and organized it neatly. The cost matched the quote I was given the day before. Would use them again.

Absolute fantastic experience!!! DeVries Moving & Storage Solutions in Jupiter, FL packed up all my mothers items this summer and stored everything for us until we could find a home for her up here in New York. We just received all of her belongings and everything was in perfect condition.The girls in the office were there to answer any questions, (As I had many). They made this transition run so smoothly and would highly recommend them to all who may need any future moving services.

I wish I had because the worst happened to me!The owner, Eric, wrote a contract to move my entire house for a flat rate for an out of town move. There was one large piece of furniture that he said might not fit on the truck and I said if it didn’t fit we’d leave it. No mention of any other concerns. His truck got full well before that piece but instead of getting another truck they announced they were leaving the remaining furniture/belongings in the house and told me it was my problem and I would have to pay for additional services. Out of desperation to get the contents of my house moved, I offered to pay to rent an additional truck. The supervisor said yes, but Eric said no, that I would have to pay more money and wait 3-4 weeks to get the rest of my belongings.The price he quoted to get the few remaining items was over 50% of the original estimate. Extortion!! This was all a setup to get more money out of me. I had no time to argue with them because my closing was in less than a week. (And he knew this) I rented a truck myself and picked up the rest of my belongings but it was 8 hours of driving to do so... this was a NIGHTMARE!Deceptive practices and dishonest owner! It’s not worth it... keep looking!

From the first phone call to the move being completed, it was an excellent experience. The owner responded to my phone call within 5 minutes and came when he said that he would. He set up the move, estimated the move and the whole experience was seamless. The movers moved my furniture as if it was their own. They crated the marble furniture tops and tables and nothing was broken or scratched. I cant say enough good things about the company and workers. Eric wrote up an estimate to move our household goods to the next town. He emphasized it was an estimate rather than the price. During the move the crew did some things well, but lacked coordination in some ways, so that the move took longer than expected. Eric honored his estimate rather than charge us for some wasted time. The goods were delivered without damage, and we were very happy with this move. It is a pleasure to deal with an honorable businessman. The next time we have a need to move we will call DeVries first.

Great service and reasonable pricing. They came in and packed our house on a thursday, picked it up on a friday and it was delivered in Atlanta on Monday. Great moving service.

The packer and 2 of the 3 movers were great except for one that did damage to a doorway while moving into my brand new renovated home and complained a lot. The owner of Devries promised to send somebody out to repair the damage that was done and several weeks later not a word from Devries. It was a local move, 3 miles down the road (6 Minutes) yet they charged me for an hour of travel time.

We had an emergency move and explained the situation to Eric. He had a crew and trucks at our home the next morning. Thank you Eric and team for the tremendous job.

Two recent experiences with DeVries Moving were uniformly excellent. Company representative Eric provided a prompt response to my need to quickly pack and move an extensive art collection and personal library. The packing/moving crew were efficient, polite & friendly and took great care in packing my art work, furniture and books. The items were placed in DeVries storage facilities. The cost was exactly in line with the estimate given me.In two months time DeVries delivered my possessions to my new home in Williamsburg, Va. Again, the deliver team were professional and courteous. The men carefully uncrated the art pieces, unwrapped the furniture and assembled intricate bookcases. With absolute courtesy the delivery team members placed my furniture exactly as I wished. The move was accomplished quickly, and all concerned remained in good humor. Again, cost exactly matched the estimate. great experience.

Worst move of more than 15+ Ive had. 3 days of packing went ok. Day 1 of two days of moving went ok, the last day was a nightmare and because everything wasnt packed another half day was added. The move was from one home to another just 5 miles away. The problems....each day we had at least one crew member different. Not a big deal except each time it was the crew Forman. Second problem, even the crew didnt know who would be there the next day as evidenced by them telling us that they would be there and then not showing up. Third, on the last moving day the reduced the crew by one member from 4 to 3 and one was told she was to be a packer. She was not there to carry heavy loads thus really reducing the team by two. Realizing early on this was going to be a problem, I called Eric Devries to ask for more support. I did this also at the suggestion of his team. I reached his assistant and I asked her to have Eric call me. No call back occurred all day. I called again around 5 pm when I realized this was going to be a very long night if these people didnt get help and I didnt want to miss the closing of the office. Again I reached Erics assistant. Again I left a message to call me. One of the team even gave me Erics cell, which he didnt answer and the messages were full. So my wife and I pitched in and proceeded to unload the truck for the next 5 hours. I also jumped the truck when its battery failed and ultimately found that several items were left behind because they didnt have sufficient packing materials or space in the truck. Where was Eric?? Well, I was able to speak to him finally at 10:00 pm when the truck was unloaded. How did that happen?? I told his crew that I wasnt paying the bill that night as there were items left behind so the move was not complete. Further, I was pissed that my wife and I had to help move for five hours when I was paying his business to do it. Eric miraculously answered his phone and wanted to talk to me. I didnt pay until the job was complete. And Im still pissed that my wife and I had to help to get the job done.I attribute the failure to poor planning and poor leadership.. I would highly recommend you steal away from these movers till they can assure you corrections have been made to both the planning and leadership issues.

Buyer beware they are not insured they pay 60 cents a pound on what they break ( lied to me about insurance) so they broke 4000 dollars between art and my dining table sent me a check several months later for 59 dollars. The 1599 art 10 pounds so $6 dollars
