Our son he has been part of Rising Sun for more than 6 months and he loved. We were looking for an instructed activity where he can have fun but learn how to follow instructions and Rising Sun Martial Arte check all the points for that. The instructor he is energetic and great with small kids. This is a family business you wont regret to bring your child here.

Rising sun martial arts of Jupiter has made a huge impact in my child’s life. Since starting martial arts my daughter has become more confident and has so much fun going to class each week. All the kids are so committed to what they are doing in class. The instructors are absolutely wonderful and do a great job making sure every kid is having fun and learning the important skills they use in martial arts and in the real world. In English, Karate means “empty hand”, which illuminates how this combat style focuses on the power that lies solely in the body.I cannot imagine a more important lesson for a young person- that they don’t need anything in their hands to be great and powerful. They don’t need a phone, a trophy, a shiny new toy- just control over their mind and the discipline to seek it.That is the mental transformation that I am seeing in my little girl after just a month at this school. Our son has been going here for a couple months now and already the change in him is so noticeable! He loves the days he gets to go and practice and he continues to practice at home. We originally signed him up to help teach him some patience and give him a place to channel his energy and attention and we’ve been more than happy to see that happening. Rising Sun is WONDERFUL! Our son started back in January and absolutely loves it! The instructors/owner do a fabulous job instilling confidence, respect, discipline, and determination into these young minds. These skills have not only enriched his motivation in the studio but at home and school as well. Since our first encounter with Mr. B, our experience has been nothing but the best. My son was 3 when we started, he wasnt able to sit still, his attention span was extremely short and he didnt always follow directions. In a couple of months all of this has changed drastically. Each week the children receive a stripe on their belt for doing a good job, and my son is so proud of that stripe that hes following directions to be sure he earns his stripe for things such as speed, balance, focus, listening...... Mr. B does an amazing job at pointing out each childs strengths, which increases their confidence and my son truly believes hes the toughest ninja in the world. Mr. Bs positivity never diminishes, even when teaching a group of young children. Throughout the class he does a great job of complimenting every child. Rising Sun is also in a great location, which makes it easy to grab food before or after and Mr. B often passes out coupons for free Bahama Bucks slushies. The prices are also great and you even get a uniform during registration and the belt tests are included in the monthly fee as long as you test during the testing window with the class. Were very thankful that our town has such a positive martial arts facility and were excited to watch our son grow and continue to earn belts and stripes.

Our oldest son transferred over to Rising Sun after a short stint at a more traditional karate studio. Rising Sun and their staff are amazing with him! the teaching style really fits well with our high energy child. The lights and the music, the stick fighting, and the constant action are really great. He gets more out of these 30 minute classes, than hour long sessions at the other studio. As they say at the end of each class *clap *clap YOU ROCK!!!

WE LOVE RISING SUN MARTIAL ARTS JUPITER! The coaching is fantastic and our kids love the classes. The location is accessible and super clean. The atmosphere is friendly and disciplined. We have been so happy there and love our RSMA family!

My son has been attending classes here since last year and he absolutely loves attending. It has really helped him with his self confidence and he enjoys the journey of moving up from belt to belt. Update 10/24/2019:My kids have been going to Rising Sun for several years and are almost black belt candidates! I wanted to send another positive kudos for Rising Sun especially for the private lessons. Weve had a lot going on recently and have missed a lot of classes - my kids are all caught up between extra booster camps that Rising Sun provides and private lessons! They really enjoy the 1:1 time with the instructors - during private lessons they can go quite a bit faster and go more in to depth on the why on what theyre learning which helps the kids remember. My youngest has also started in the Little Ninja class too and he has fun every class!--------------------------------------Were really happy with Rising Sun Martial arts! We have 2 kids in the same class and both are doing great. They just earned their yellow belts and are more excited than ever to continue learning! Our 7 year old is picking up the technique and form surprisingly quickly and we definitely see an increase in sportsmanship from him (its OK to not always win!). Our 8 yr old is autistic and has trouble maintaining focus and sticking with an activity in the long term. We were worried about his commitment and although we had a little trouble keeping him engaged in the beginning, the extended intro period provided by Rising Sun and the constant encouragement from the Gurus have both our kids hooked on martial arts!We are proud of our kids on their quick advancement and grateful to all the gurus at Rising Sun who are providing critical life skills! I would highly recommend taking advantage of the 4-6 week into period just to try it out - nothing to lose but so much to gain. Even if you dont buy into online reviews - go see for yourself and youll see that its worth it!

Rising Sun has changed our lives! Our children are more disciplined at home and school because they have respect, have learned to listen and take responsibility for their actions. Weve been with the studio for 5 years and our son has become a black belt last November yet he still continues to learn during each class. We would recommend Rising Sun to anyone who is seeing changes in their child they dont necessarily like. Mr. Buzick is vested in all of his students and will take the time to talk to you and/or your child to help you get through any situation that you may not be sure to handle. I would say he cares about both of our children who are enrolled almost as much as we do!

Rising Sun is the best thing that happened to us in 2020. After all the struggles with needing to home school and transitioning into life in a pandemic we were struggling to keep some kind of normalcy for our son. Finding Rising Sun was truly a blessing! As a parent it’s so hard to see your child struggle with self confidence . With the pandemic I saw him withdraw further into himself. We tried almost every sport and nothing was working for us. We saw rising sun martial arts one day when we were walking around downtown abacoa and he wanted to give it a try. Neil was so helpful setting up that first trial class. Everyone was so welcoming and they made sure they already knew my sons name and addressed him directly. My son fell in love with everything Rising Sun Martial arts has to offer(especially the jab, cross, hook). After three classes my son looked at me and said he was proud of himself. My husband and I fell in love with the self-control, respect, and focus that they instill in each of their students. My son is sweating by the end of class and begs us to take him everyday. We absolutely love rising sun! My 8 yr old daughter is very, very shy and hasn’t previously liked any organized sports that we have signed her up for. We were looking for something and randomly came across a Facebook ad where she could try it out for 2 weeks at no cost. I figured what is there to loose? We signed up after our second class!!! We have now been part of rising sun for around 6 months and I’ve noticed a major positive change in my daughters behavior. She no longer avoids conversations, she is present in conversations and also maintains direct eye contact. Both the owner and Mr. Navedo are fantastic! My 5 year son during the pandemic started to become very fearful of any change and was not being quite himself. Rising Suns Filipino Martial arts approach is unique to traditional karate and within 2-3 I have seen a boost In my sons confidence, discipline and excitement to try new things ( like confidently introducing himself to adults ). Teachers Mr Buzick and Mr Navedo are truly passionate about seeing the children grow and develop not just in martial arts but in themselves. So grateful to have found them. My son truly can’t wait for his classes each week.

Rising Sun does such a great job of combining learning, fun, discipline and confidence building for its students through the vehicle of karate. They lead by example and really take a personal interest in the advancement of the kids in the class. Top notch operation run by top notch teachers!

I am very impressed with many aspects of Rising Sun Martial Arts. My son started attending just before quarantine and looked forward to his Zoom Martial Arts classes. Once they opened up, he started attending at the facility and has attended all summer long. His confidence has soared. They are professional, friendly and make learning martial arts so fun for the kids.

This was a wonderful learning experience for me and all my friends. The owner was very helpful in teaching me self defense as an 18 year old girl going into college. Going forward I will be much more aware of my surroundings thanks to Neil. I highly reccomend this class for any man or woman looking for a self defense class.

My son has been taking Rising Suns virtual classes for a few months now. He loves it! He has learned so much and I can really see an improvement in his self confidence. Neil gave a great women’s protection seminar today for me and some friends. We decided we wanted to take a self defense class before heading off to college and he gave us some great tips and techniques that I will for sure use in the future. Our son, Eli, joined Rising Sun Martial Arts when the quarantine let up a tad and we were still remote learning. Stir crazy syndrome was rapant in our home! It was important for Eli (and for us!) to have an outlet at least a couple times a week and Rising Sun was that outlet. Not only was it an outlet but it was a channel for NUMEROUS emotions and feelings happening in these uncertain times. Eli has emotionally and physically grown in these last few months; focus, discipline and respect for HIMSELF and others...confidence! Mr. Buzick and team are fantastic! They not only instruct in the art of Philipino Martial Arts but LIFE SKILLS and tap into the students self worth and self discipline. We are very grateful for Mr. Buzick and the staff at Rising Sun Martial Arts and look forward to watching our son grow within the art and himself especially!

Our experience at Rising Sun Martial Arts began with a special event and transformed to apprentices. It was immediately clear that this martial arts school was different. The youth classes are focused on both martial arts and social aspects - how to contribute at home, how to respect peers and instructors and how to respond appropriately to bullying, for example. The owner and leader of the school truly sees our kids and adjusts styles to their needs. Fully recommend.

Absolutely love this place. We have been members almost 2 years. The confidence Mr B and Mr Navedo have helped develop in my daughter is amazing. She fully enjoys her classes. When Covid-19 hit our area and lock down began, they immediately came up with a plan to keep the kids fully engaged in their learning. We are very thankful and cant wait to get back to in studio classes.

Our son has been attending here for about 3 years and the growth we have seen in him is phenomenal. He started in the little ninja program and has progressed to the advanced class along with the leadership course. The overall growth in his confidence and general ability to interact with others has been significant. He has improved his overall ability to speak in front of groups along with learning the technical aspects of martial arts. The instructors take great care in ensuring that they know each student personally and take the extra effort to engage them. My girls (ages 5 and 7) love it. My husband and I love that they are focused on improving their skills and working towards the next belt. The girls are pushing themselves physically and constantly trying to out kick each other at home. Their confidence is growing and we are excited about the next steps. It spills over into their other activities such as Brownies and basketball.

My son has been a member of Rising Sun martial arts for 4 yrs now, he began when he was 4 yrs old. Watching the development of my son over these years has been many things, fun, exciting, proud and rewarding. The interaction with other students and adults and the development of coordination and discipline has had tremendous benefits. The consistency of structure at Rising Sun is unmatched in the Jupiter area, I know because I’ve taken the time to visit other schools. While the other schools did follow a schedule, none had the command over their students the way Rising Sun does and that’s so important for efficiency and effectiveness when developing childrens life skills. I couldn’t have made a better choice for my son when choosing who and where he will be assisted in becoming the best he can be.

Guru Neil and his staff are fabulous. My daughter is leaving for college in August and he developed a 2 hour self defense class just for her and her friends. They are always accommodating and run a tight and very clean shop

When we looked at martial arts studios, I wasnt necessarily looking for a rigid program that would build my sons confidence or help him be more respectful or focused. I was more concerned with a program that helped his coordination and gave him exercise that he could do and feel accomplished with, as he has a neurological condition that limits his coordination and motor planning skills.So imagine how thankful I am that the Lil Ninjas program was exactly what I was looking for and MORE! Luke has found confidence in himself I didnt realize was lacking, and the fun physical activities hes been part of have not only positively encouraged him, but helped build his coordination and motor planning ability in an authentic way that hes thoroughly enjoyed. There were many times in the program that Luke was discouraged because some of the activities were challenging to him, and all the Guros took their own time to talk with him, build him up and reassure him that they were there to help him succeed. There is little better than the look of pride on your sons face when he realizes he overcame a challenge, and those who helped him did so with sole focus on building his character and his confidence.We are a military family, and must move, but there is no doubt that Id continue with Rising Sun until my son was a black belt, and there is no doubt that if we could stay, hed be supremely trained.

The girls have learned respect, discipline, and work ethic in order to achieve a goal. The girls also love the ability to see other kids virtually during this pandemic, and the staff at Rising Sun do a great job of making that happen! Rising Sun is not like any other program we have seen. My daughter has been attending for almost 2 years now. Before my son started at Rising Sun, he struggled with making eye contact, speaking up, and focusing. He was also a little awkward when doing anything active. In the past year, he has become more and more confident, determined, and driven. He speaks up when communicating, he makes eye contact when speaking and listening, he completes tasks with ease, he is physical strong, and now enjoys teaching others. The compassion and joy he exhibits while achieving is such a delight to witness as a parent. His father and I attribute this to his instructors abilities to show our son that determination and grit can go a long way.

My twin 8 year old daughters have been taking martial arts classes at Rising Sun for 6 months now. I think its important to teach young girls about respect and confidence, and I have found that Rising Sun Martial Arts classes are a great way to instill that in their young growing minds. I have also had the pleasure of taking classes with them, and it has been a wonderful bonding experience for the three of us to earn belts together. We have all earned out yellow belts and this weekend we will be attending another belt ceremony. It has been so enjoyable for me as their mother to be able to participate in an activity like this with them, instead of sitting on the sidelines playing with my phone in between watching the class. The experience how we are having as a family together with Rising Sun is priceless and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with my daughters.

Both of my daughters started the class because of the very attractive introductory cost. My oldest daughter, Christina, has continued the classes while my younger tries to balance her schedule with volleyball and school. Christina absolutely loves the class. She finds it to be so encouraging yet physically demanding. Her confidence in her abilities continues to grow. All the instructors are very affirming, yet expect respect for the class and the process of learning. They constantly interact with the parents by including them in this process of growth. They teach respect for classmates, the class leaders and elders at home and elsewhere. Christinas confidence is growing in many areas because of this class. On more than one occasion she has shared with me how thankful she is that we signed her up for this program. Thanks so much to Neil and all the instructors. That goes for the Student Instructors as well. We have been very pleased in the short time we have been involved (about 1.5 mths).

My son began attending classes three months ago, and in that time has absolutely enjoyed every class and is looking forward to his first belt graduation this week.The instructors spend time making sure all students become proficient, yet are not militant and drill like, which is often off-putting for the younger children. Every class is different and fun and include new games and skills on a regular basis. The children are regularly encouraged to take leadership in demonstrating skills, forms, and reciting their creed, which gives even the young ones so much personal ownership and self confidence. Each week also has themes (such as focus, confidence, manners, and safety) in which they are awarded stripes, allowing them to feel as though they have small accomplishments in between their belt promotions.It is easy to tell that the owners and staff take great pride in their work. They continue to invest time and money into keeping their school fresh and on the cutting edge of martial arts education. The staff works wonderfully together, and treat each other with respect and kindness. The owner/ instructor (male) and main instructor (female) both lead and assist in classes equally. Other schools we visited gave only limited roles to their female instructors. It is important that my son sees women in strong, positive, leadership roles, and at Rising Sun he has the opportunity to not only learn from an amazing female instructor, but take classes that are also gender-mixed. My son has enjoyed his time with and appreciated all his instructors; he loves sharing news with them, like when he lost his first tooth, or whenever he goes somewhere new, and they always seem genuinely interested in his stories.I considered multiple establishments before committing to Rising Sun for my son. Their enthusiasm, commitment to quality, and passion for teaching has been nothing short of wonderful.

After his first class, my son told us, “I like Martial Arts. My son started martial arts at Rising Sun after attending a birthday party there this summer. I immediately saw how much he was enjoying it and taking it very seriously. We signed up very shortly after. I love all of the emphasis on respect & kindness & leadership! I see a confidence in my son that he didnt quite have before. He also attended a bullying seminar that was simply AMAZING!

We attended a free event at Rising Sun Martial Arts about a month ago just to check it out. Ive always wanted my daughter to take a martial arts class but never took the initiative to actually look for a class. She enjoyed that class so much we tried a couple of more classes on a trial basis and she absolutely fell in love. I cannot tell you how much she enjoys going to Karate class. Mr B and Mr Rojas take a lot of pride in making sure that each student is learning, building self esteem and having fun. To see a child like mine who is usually on the quiet side reach within herself and make her self heard in her black belt voice makes me so proud. We are so happy we found Rising Sun!

I am seriously impressed by the nearly immediate positive responses I am seeing in my children from this program. The parents, as well as the kids, are offered tangible tools that they can carry back home. Habit 1, be proactive, has had an immediate impact on both of my kids, encouraging them to take some initiative without me harassing them. Being that they are 5 and 8, thats pretty awesome. I highly recommend Rising Sun.

Rising Sun has been such a godsend for our family. We have 2 of our boys in classes there. We have seen such a remarkable improvement in the confidence of our younger son. With our older son, who is on the Autism Spectrum, we have seem his confidence grow as well as his focus. Both of our boys have matured and have begun believing in themselves and their abilities. The structure of the classes keep the children engaged and fun. Guru Neil as well as the other Gurus have been amazing. They go out of their way to make each child feel welcome and make sure they are enjoying learning and growing. We are so happy to be part of the Rising Sun family.

Only been in it for couple of weeks now but def family orientated environment and good structure for my son. New to these things and the owner and other instructors have been open to many questions that I do have and ways to lead my son in right direction with confidence, respect, and discipline. We absolutely love the FABULOUS Rising Sun Martial Arts of Jupiter!!! Our son has been attending classes for the last 7 weeks and he cant get enough of it! My 9 yr old daughter loves attending classes at Rising Sun Martial Arts. The classes are fun and keeps kids physically active while teaching them focus and positive behavior. The teachers are dedicated to their craft and are amazingly engaged with the kids so the kids reciprocate this behavior. Martial arts combined with learning great habits that are useful to every day life and confidence building exercises are key benefits we (as a family) get from this school. Parents are also engaged in the process and at the end of each class, kids tell us that we rock and we tell them that they rock, too! Super cool. Want to rock, too? Go for it! :)

My Son started about a month ago and he loves it. He likes “everything” in his 35 min. classes. They give out loud and clear instructions, follow through, and constantly encourage kids to be focused and be successful. You can tell that they are passionate about raising those kids confidence. They address kids with names, instructors observe well and praise often. A lot of energy a lot of love, a lot of laughter, and so much cuteness in little Ninjya class. They focus on one life skills per week and I can address at home. It is very helpful as parent. It’s fun to watch each class too. Really nice place. Recommend to all!

We are thrilled that our son receives training at Rising Sun! We have seen a dramatic change in his confidence and ability to follow directions. He always has a smile on his face in the gym and he really enjoys attending classes twice a week. All of the instructors are wonderful with kids. The children are so well behaved during class which proves that they have respect for all of the instructors. Our 3 yo son also enjoys practicing at home and looks forward to taking classes very soon!

I am a nanny for 2 children that attend martial arts at Rising Sun. The girls love everything about martial arts especially when they learn new moves to practice all week. Not only do the instructors instruct the correct way to do things they also participate with the students as well and lead by example. The girls have grown emotionally with a great yes I can attitude and I think Rising Sun Martial Arts has a lot to do with it. The children learn 4 important parts of martial arts balance, fitness, respect and control. I personally feel these steps are good for life as well. I recommend you sign your children up not just for self defence but also for a self esteem booster.

As a martial arts student, my son has learned to be still, challenged and focused. In a place where technology is not an option, a place where our kids forget about their phones, tablets or flat screen TVs... just hard work, respect and concentration. Rising Sun is more than than your regular martial arts school, kicks or punches. They transformed my child’s life in so many ways that I’ll be eternally grateful to Mr B and his exceptional staff. Through the martial arts intervention, my son developed an amazing self confidence and was provided with the tools to defend himself and others . He is no longer the same child that he was when he entered the program. Through the years, Angel had a significant improvement on his academics, as well as his social and emotional self efficacy. Although the goal is to avoid situations where a child needs to use self-defense tactics, being enrolled in a martial arts program gives your children the ability to cope with the effects of bullying and helps them to gain strength, endurance and balance. Without a doubt, martial arts wont give your kids any superpower, but they will benefit from the focus, discipline and respectful behavior that will transfer to other areas in their lives as well. We put our son to try little ninja class. We were worried that he may not fit there as he was less than 5 and not focused (to say it politically correct :) ). The classes are flexible - you are allowed to pick 2 days of the week and different times when you sign up. Depending on the day/time, you have less than 10 or around 20 kids but it actually does not matter, they all work to sweat. Always 3 or sometimes even 4 teachers! Kids in playful manner learn how to focus, right stance, improve stamina. Dont be mislead by word playful. The class is very focused, structured and teaches discipline in natural way. The teachers are wonderful and make all the efforts to improve your kids! Despite teachers act professional, kids really love them, my son was hugging Michelle before the class, and she could not get him off her :) The business is very very personal, Neil and teachers are reaching out to parents and are very accessible. Unfortunately, we had to take out our son for personal reasons (stopped even before end of trial period), despite we saw progress and really loved the place. Neil wanted to return our money for trial and did not want to take back our sons uniform that we received free of charge when we just sign up. We did not want our money back because they were well earned! We really hope to get back there when our situation permits. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place and the teachers!

When my wife got our son a 6 week trial period at Rising Sun I was happy he would be learning self defense and discipline. After the trial period I was really proud that he made the choice to keep going until he had his black belt. He is learning so much more than I had expected or hoped for. He is learning life skills: what to do if he gets lost, if a stranger approaches him, how to defend himself, teamwork, family respect, and hard work are all essential parts of a happy life. The entire staff is dedicated to providing a fun-loving class for the children. I think it is a great place that I can see my younger child starting there when they are older.

This is a wonderful place to learn martial arts! Neil, Mr. Rojas and Ashley offer a complete package for education, training, mental and physical development, but most of all habits that children and adults can learn and apply in their daily lives. Neil and his team use positive reinforcement, humor, and attention to detail to help every single student succeed. The instructors help the children learn respect, discipline, and how to think for themselves and to realize these crucial steps are needed to succeed in life.Both of my sons (ages 6 and 7) have been attending Rising Sun Martial Arts for just a few months and both boys are excited to attend class more with each visit. The skills that they are learning in class they are starting to apply at home! What more could a Mom ask for? I love seeing them work hard, focus on their martial art skills, get out some healthy energy, and learn to work well with others. I would definitely check out a class so that you can see what the program has to offer! All of the instructors are fantastic! I can’t say enough about each one of them! I am just beyond impressed with Mr. Rojas who has the patience of gandhi with my youngest son. He really is a wonderful mentor to the kids. I am so happy that we found Rising Sun!

My daughter was born with cleft lip and palate. She has difficulty with her speech and expressive language. School is difficulty so I wanted to find something that she would enjoy and build her confidence. Rising Sun Martial Arts of Jupiter has done that and more. She smiles the entire time she is in class. She loves it. As a plus for me not only has this built her confidence it is instilling good character traits in her. From being focused to a Yes I can attitude Rising Sun builds her social and emotional skills. Rising Sun is a place to build physical and health habits. My son started at Rising Sun when he turned 4 yrs old. He has been there 8 months and has a ton of fun each & every class. The staff is very flexible with make up classes if needed. They focus not only on physical fitness and martial arts, but also on discipline and the importance of school and education.Before moving on to different forms and movements they ensure that each student has the correct execution and understanding of what is currently being taught.They also offer other things. There are summers camps and parents nights out. The kids have a great time learning martial arts and playing games, then get to eat pizza with their friends. My son always wants to go to the parents night out.

This is the best martial arts school around, Ive tried others! Instructors are clear and concise. Students know what is expected of them and they want to perform their best in each class. Classes go beyond the martial arts realm and they integrate everyday life skills such as commitment, responsibility and performing your best in everything.

Our daughter Angelina is a rising star at Rising Sun Martial Arts of Jupiter! With the help of Guru Neil and his excellent staff she is blossoming into a self-confident young lady. I have been a law enforcement defensive tactics/ground control instructor for several years and from a professional perspective Rising Sun is a great influence on our young people. I have two children in Guru Neils program and they absolutely love it! One of them has ADHD and has a hard time focusing and making (and retaining) friends. Her confidence level has just blossomed and she has made several new friendships that she is beyond excited about. Seeing her level of concentration slowly grow and level out has been an absolute miracle...and I can only thank Rising Sun Martial Arts for that. My son is a typical 4-year old boy that is all go-go-go and seeing him not only respond so readily to Guru Neil and the others is wonderful to see. He actually stops the monkey-business and gives full attention to the class and manages to stay focused the entire time. I honestly didnt think that would be possible. I have also taken a self-defense class and can now confidently walk my dogs at night without fear of being unable to defend myself. Guru Neil has an ability to break things down and really explain not only the technique, but also the reason and benefit behind the technique. Its makes sense and it practical and real-world....and modern. He doesnt get into the eastern religion and dogma of martial arts, which is refreshing to say the least. Needless to say - we love the programs he offers and will continue to do so for a long time to come. :)

The owner is very personable, and takes great pride in his work. The lessons are a great personal experience for the students, building discipline, confidence, exercise, and respect. The emphasis is also on having fun. The kids look forward to their lessons and are eager to show off what they learned. Great extra curricular for your child, especially the shy to join in.

We really didnt know what to expect. Neither my wife nor myself have ever been involved with martial arts, but this program is one of the best experiences weve had as parents.There is great discipline, life lessons, and most importantly FUN with all of the martial arts that they learn.There are plenty of classes to choose from for the different levels and free make-up classes.We all love it!

Rising Sun Martial Arts has a great program for children. Guru Neil and Cody are very charismatic and keep the children motivated, entertained, and focused throughout the class. They are a very positive influence on the children. My daughter is 6 and she was very hesitant to try it out at first, and now she absolutely loves going to class. Shes excited to go and excited when shes finished, and cant wait to go back for the next class. Im very happy to see her focus, attention, and the efforts she puts forth every time.

We just had a fantastic birthday party here! Neil is always evolving and teaching positive brain training!My son is very passionate about his work here! He has a blast in class. He has a giant smile on his face when he is learning the moves. The instructors are extremely positive calling out each childs name and making them feel important ! This is a great studio for a child that struggles with focus and attention. They do a super job at keeping the kids engaged and sharp!! I have been elsewhere and Love this place!!!

Rising Sun Martial Arts is an excellent school. Kids learn how to defend themselves from bullies, which we all know is still an issue today in grade school. They learn respect, discipline and every month they are taught a special word of the month . For example the month of May is Teamwork, the kids learn about the selected word and how they can help each other using teamwork. I highly recommend starting your child up with Rising Sun Martial Arts, they teach a different style of karate, a more modern style! Something the kids can take with them where ever they go! The instructors are just fabulous! They obviously know how to work with children and know their martial arts ! Wonderful school, great location, and lovely atmosphere!

Rising Sun has totally transformed my son. He started last year as a shy little boy who could barely talk in front of others...and in just over a year, he’s the first to raise his hand and volunteer to answer questions, and loves performing his martial arts moves in front of anyone and everyone! We are so pleased with his growth mentally, physically and emotionally.
