Have fished with Capt.Russ before and had an epic day. Chartered him over the weekend and the trip didn’t go so great. The water looked good when we finally got out of the green water, conditions were good, weed beds everywhere, the water was so blue it almost looked purple. The fish just wasn’t there and no matter what the capt tried we just couldn’t find them. It’s always disappointing to come up empty handed but that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching, if you expect anything more, then fishing isn’t for you. Capt.Russ and Randy never quit looking for the fish and that alone is the reason I’d charter with them again. Great guy and very passionate about fishing. Till our next trip...good fishing. Matt C

I have been on the Dog House several times and captain Russ always puts us on the fish. The boat is extremely clean and comfortable. Ive been on a lot of charter boats and the Dog House seems more like a private boat that allows charters rather than your typical charter boat. If your thinking about chartering a boat, I highly recommend this boat.
