Counselor seemed dismissive and out of her depth with a mental health issue that is very common and has many established treatment methodologies. Failed to establish a rapport. Little to no communication with the parents and no treatment plan was ever conveyed. After two years with Family Counseling we feel like zero progress has been made and we have moved on. We started with a new therapist and the difference is night and day.

Gail Guillory has been a blessing in my life. During this Covid challenge, I became quite depressed. I have never encountered any professional who was more caring, empathetic, and kind. She was literally there for me 24/7 (including researching questions and making calls outside of the regular sessions).In addition to being such a wonderful human being, Gail is the best in her profession. She is terrific in processing what I tell her and is so insightful, offering exceedingly invaluable observations and advice. I could not give her a higher recommendation.

They are very professional and caring. The Councilor that I am seeing has helped me immensely with different therapies. Gail Guillory is a very empathetic, honest, problem solver. Gail is able to be objective and point out the pros and cons of a challenge with finesse. She inspires you to adjust positively to your situation - or shall I say “learning opportunity”. She is an extremely effective therapist who is able to offer suggestions/solutions. My family has experienced some trauma and she hand picked other therapists to offer support to my children and husband. They were all a perfect fit for their personalities! The office staff is personable, organized, and professional. It is truly a blessing to find a practice that has all of these attributes . I highly recommend Family Counseling and Associates Inc !

She is very caring, understanding, and has truly been someone that he has grown to trust - he values her advice and I know he would not be where he is today without her counseling. The group at family counseling are a wonderful to deal with. Every week my daughter is welcomed and spoke to by Candice and Maddy with like she’s family. I am a person that believes talk therapy is a good thing even when there is nothing wrong. The counselors and staff at Family Counseling Associates have been very caring, and emapthetic to my needs. In a moment of crisis they were able to get me in to see someone right away. I see Dulce whom I like very much - but of course finding the right therapist for you is a very personal thing. This office also takes insurance which is very helpful.

This was truly the worst experience I have ever had. I have never felt more judged in my life talking to a therapist. It was so uncomfortable that when I was trying to explain what I was going through I felt like I couldn’t even cry in front of her. I would never recommend this place to friends or family.

I have seen Gail Guillory for over 2 years. My husband of 47 years died in January of 2015 after a 2 year battle with a rare cancer. Living without him is the hardest thing I have ever faced. I am a retired school psychologist. I was searching for a skilled, experienced, compassionate therapist who understood grief. I found a true professional and empathetic human being in Gail. She listens, understands, and has been a constant support in my grief journey. I dont know what I would do without her.

I have been seeing Gail Guillory for counseling at Family Counseling Associates, Inc. since suffering tremendous loss in my personal life within the past year. Both my brother and mother (my only family) died within three months of each other, sending me deeper into the depression that I have been struggling with for many years. Not to get too much into my personal issues, but I suffer from anxiety, depression, OCD and some other challenges. Gail came highly recommended to me, so I thought Id try a few sessions. I am so glad I did. Gail has a very caring, easy going nature that is at the same time professional. I find her style to be friendly, comforting and nonjudgemental. Meeting with her is like talking to an insightful, helpful friend. She recently started a group therapy session for people with similar issues. I feel much more positive, hopeful, and motivated since engaging with Gail and I plan to continue with one-on-one sessions and group sessions for the foreseeable future. I have highly recommended Gail to friends and recommend her to anyone suffering from grief, loss, depression, anxiety or other mental health issues.

If I could give them negative stars I would. I have been living in Jupiter for over 10 years and have never had an issue with any Drs in this area like I have with them. I couldnt even get in to see them. They are all about $$ and not about helping and counseling. Their accounting person is a bully. I highly recommend to stay away from this firm and into looking for a family counseling somewhere else where they truly do care about people.

In the past few years, we have used Family Counseling Associates for a few members of our extended family. We have found the counselors to be very professional while being sympathetic and genuinely concerned about our needs and concerns. Yes I was going there to see Melissa the child counselor for my daughter. We miss an appointment a last year and this year because I was going through a divorce and now they wil not let me schedule. Horrible place!! Don’t go!!

For a non-private practice, I have found Family Counceling to be a very professional environment with understanding and kind therapists. They have a number of therapists that specialize in certain disorders and they see all ages, from young children to elderly adults.

Gail would roll her eyes at my suggestions in front of my teenager. They introduced my high school teen to a 20 year old of the the opposite sex, to hang out with. They were not up front with me about what their plans were with my child. I was told one thing and they would do another. Gail strongly wanted my child on drugs. My hour long sessions with Gail, ended at 45 minutes becuase she was too busy to finish the session. The sessions were frequently interupted by the front desk woman wanting me to settle up my bill. I am greatful I got my kid out of there and to a therapist who truley cared for the childs well being.

My young son was having tantrums. When he had one in their office, they kicked us out - even though that was the reason they were there. Inept!
