Our experience with Aycock Riverside was very positive. Staff was very pleasant, and they made our decision making easy. Thank you.
Who experience at the funeral home was one of complete professionalism and relaxation. We were made to feel like we were at home talking with family members and friends and making the plans that need to be decided on. We would highly recommend Aycock-Riverside to anyone who needs a wonderful caring group of people!
NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMERS SAFETY FROM COVID!
We recently worked withTabitha upon the death of our father. She made a difficult time so much easier for us. She was so delightful and informative. The funeral home itself is open, airy, and beautiful. I can not say enough positive things about out recent experience with this center. I have had to arrange funerals for other family members in the past and in retrospect realize I was swayed into spending more money than necessary. This will not happen in this center. They are honest, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
Poor service. Prepaid grave marker still not placed after 2 years. Associate has stopped returning phone calls. Do not patronize.
I cant even find the words to say how wonderful Aycock Funeral Home is. Our service was everything we hoped for and much more. They truly are experts who care and their results are worth every penny.
Ryan was absolutely professional and all his communications as well as very responsive. I told him I Would inform About your phone service many of my friends as I believe in his service and yours. Please give him a good performance review as he deserves it, thanks J.pat Mitchell May 16, 2020
I can’t say enough about the caring and understanding the team at Aycock provided me.From my first meeting, through the service and beyond I have been guided and supported through the process at a time I needed all the help I could get. I can’t thank Patty and Tabatha enough for their kind and caring service. I got all my questions answered and had little to do. And the job Tabatha did on my wife’s tribute video was beyond outstanding!!Again my heartfelt thanks to the team for providing me with wonderful memories of my loving wife.
Tabitha went above and beyond to make this experience as smooth as possible. She promptly answered all my questions in regards to the process of each step that needed to be taken. She was caring and sympathetic and I never felt rushed or pressured.
I am so pleased with the complete handling of my wifes services. Everything was done in a professional manner and made my time of grieving more bearable. I would recommend them. My family is very pleased with them too.
Several years ago my husband and I visited Aycock Funeral home to take out a plan for us both, not something to do easily. Now I recommend to anyone to do, because on meeting Beth, most decisions had been made, and we bonded a friendship needed at this time. We, with Pauline our carer, laughed and were so at ease arranging a ceremony I was happy with. On the day, everything was perfect thanks to the staff and Beth’s overseeing everything. Having no immediate family here, I know friends will attend a lovely service for me too.I recommend their facilities are very welcoming to anyone, when difficult times are to be had.Regards Hilary Wyatt.
My 91 year old mother had a four month decline--hospital, rehab, home, hospital, rehab, home. . . I live in PA, she lived in FL. It was during the Covid-19 pandemic. Quarantine in place and minimal travel was in place. Her death was expected, but not quite that soon.Beth Perkins was wonderful. We handled everything by phone and email. She guided me through the procedural necessities flawlessly. Timelines were accurate, despite Covid-19. I was called the day before the delivery was due, so I could make plans to sign for it. Absolutely recommend using Aycock-Riverside. It made a difficult time less so.
We recently had a funeral at Aycock-Riverside. My family and I worked with Tabitha and Beth for all the arrangements and day-of service. We were blown away by how organized everything was and how smooth our service went. Everyone at the facility was extremely caring and patient during our difficult time. We never felt like we were being rushed or pushed into making any decisions that we were not comfortable with. The facility was very clean, modern and beautiful. Tabitha made our celebration of life PowerPoint and we LOVED it. We had a reception with food after our service and everything tasted awesome. All of our guests commented on how great our service was and how beautiful everything was set up. Would highly highly recommend Aycock-Riverside to anyone.Thank you again to Tabitha and Beth! It meant the world to us!!-The Denny Family
They handled everything beautifully. Everything we discussed and more. Tabitha and her team in Jupiter Florida I highly recommend. I had to use their services 3 times in the last 9 months.
Beth Perkins assisted us during this difficult time. She was professional and courteous. She was warm and personable. I would highly recommend Aycock-Riverside Funeral Home. Top marks.
Aycock Funeral Home made the entire funeral and grieving process much easier for laying to rest both my Father and 3 1/2 years later my Mother. Our first meeting for my Mother’s funeral with Beth put everyone’s mind at ease as she helped us plan every detail. Anytime I had questions or needed to talk she was available or got back to me. The service itself exceeded my expectations and really helped honor my Mother. Every detail truly embodied what my mother loved and was passionate about. Thank you Aycock for helping my family and I through this difficult time.
We met with Kim Buzzell last week to arrange our burial/cremation plans. It was delightful to deal with him taking us on a tour of Riverside Cemetery, very practical with our options and saving us money wherever he could. He made the experience light-hearted, not somber or gruesome. We both felt a sense of relief after signing our documents. We would recommend his services to anyone who has a need to plan their final resting place.Rita and Bob Sonberg.
Very professional. We were out of state and they made a difficult situation much easier for us. Highly recommend.
My family and I chose aycock after the unexpected death of our father. The staff was amazing at guiding us thru this difficult process. I would highly recommend them.
Aycock-Riverside does an excellent job and is very professional. Tabitha Deneault and Kim Buzzell both did an outstanding job helping our family. Would recommend.
Very satisfied - staff very caring & professional - made the whole process extremely easy & efficient.
Burying a loved one is extremely difficult. Aycock provided a beautiful, elegant viewing for my mother. Beth Perkins sat with my family to discuss our wishes and made sure they were to our liking. It was a beautiful wake for a beautiful person. (I also want to thank Debra Ames who did the prearrangements for us. She was excellent.)
The process for the prearrangements was easy and surprisingly stress free. I accepted a lunch invitation at The Capital Grille, full expecting to been pressured a bit there. Didnt happen. Made an appointment with Brittany Brosemer for the following week. She met me at my home — very convenient since my office is in my home. We completed the transaction in about 40 minutes. The only issue I have is with the password-required email. It just didnt work.
Aycock-Riverside was wonderful in handling the arrangements for the memorial service for my wife, Mary Ann Greene. The funeral director, Tabitha Denault, was very compassionate and empathetic in explaining my different options and providing recommendations. She allowed me to proceed at my own pace in making decisions, with no time pressure applied. The presentation of the room in which the service was held was excellent. Tabitha talked with me to find out some of the important aspects of Mary Anns life, and the room showcased those areas beautifully. Jeremy Hurd, the gentleman who conducted the service, was also outstanding. He met with me to discuss how the service would be held, and met my wishes as well as those of the rest of Mary Anns family. Several of the attendees commented to me on what a wonderful job he had done. I was totally satisfied with all aspects of Aycock-Riversides performance.
Very professional, did what they said they would and in the time they said it would happen. My family was very pleased with their services.
These folks are probably fine if you have a simple local loss of a loved one where they are laid to rest in the area. But my needs were much more involved, which was transporting my loved one to Russia who we lost tragically in an accident, it has been a complete nightmare! When we first looked for a funeral home we based our choice on the ratings in a google search, so I am taking the time to write this out in a fair manner so others do not have the same experience we did. After our tragic loss, within 24 hours I was sitting in the Jupiter, Florida Aycock Funeral Home asking about the details of whats involved when transporting my mother back home. We would need a police report, coroner’s report, death certificates, cremation certification and statement of contents of the transportation vessel. All of this would need to be certified by a notary, sent to the state of Florida for an Apostille stamp (internationally recognized and approved certification) and translated to native language by the Russian Consulate. Aycock assured me they are well versed in this process and ship family members all over the world. The next question was how long will all this take and can you handle such a complex process. I was told it would take 2 weeks at first, then another more experienced funeral director was brought in the room and told us it would be more like 3 weeks. Vital information if you trying to plan a funeral with 80 relatives and needing to buy very expensive airline tickets for the family. I informed the funeral home that no expense would be an issue and to please use overnight express and expedited processes for everything. It has now been over three and a half months. We have gotten the death certificates stating our mother was from Yemen, not Russia. We were told the Apostille sent all the paperwork back 5 times for errors. I had started to communicate with the funeral home via email so I could have responses in writing. The first one was ignored for a week. I ask for a reply and finally got an email response. I have asked them to update me weekly on the process of getting my documents which they ignore. So, we finally fired Aycock and hired a new funeral home to interact with Aycock to wrap up what we needed from them and had a funeral service with just local friends since my wife needed some closure and support.I have called the State of Florida Apostille to ask what the problem was. The reason the documents were rejected, the Aycock notary witnessed the documents and then proceeded to notarize the documents! A big no no.I called the Russian Consulate, no police report or coroner’s report are required, something that took months to obtain in the proper certified and notarized format. The amount of grief and sorrow from losing our beloved mother was and is overwhelming. Aycocks motto is death with dignity, something that we lost working with them. They really dont seem to care that this process has taken much longer than promised, that we have spent thousands of dollars in airline ticket change fees or that we are trying to plan a family funeral. Do not hire this funeral home. They do not care once they have your money.
Kind, caring, compassion
