I absolutely love this school. I have been here in the past years ago to have my hair done. The students did an amazing job. Now that I am a student here I am enjoying learning the fundamentals and skills of hair and nails. I can not wait to graduate and start my new journey with a new career that I will love!! Sharon and Dennis are amazing they are great hands on and one on one if we ever need it Sharon is always there to make us feel confident in our work!!! I love her she is amazing. Definitely recommend this school.

I started New Dimensions over a month ago, the environment here is so amazing. All of the students are wonderful and help each-other learn and have a great time. The instructors Sharon, and Dennis are so sweet and very helpful. I’m glad I picked New Dimensions as my school to learn and start a wonderful career for myself.

New Dimensions has a good layout. The curriculum is easy to follow and challenging in a fun way. Sharon is helpful and understanding, yet she pushes you to do your best. Dennis is hilarious. If you want to learn, this is the place!

Sharon (the head lady) was very rude and when I showed her a picture of what I wanted she said well you’re not getting that. And instead of doing a bleach on my hair she did a bleach shampoo then said that’s all you’re going to get. Will never be going back!

Wow this place is the best beauty school ever. I went and got my hair done by Brandy that is a senior in school. She was fixing my hair for me and done it exactly how I wanted it done. So if you go there hopefully you can get her to do ur hair. She is amazing at doing foils and highlights. She was very kind and had a very amazing sense of humor. And they are the cheapest place in town too. Sharon the instructor of the school is very very talented and knows what shes doing. She teaches the girls very well.

I am soon to be a graduate of New Dimensions, and Im not sure how fantastic this school is, can be put into words. Sharon and Dennis are not only amazing mentors and instructors, they are amazing and genuine people. The passion these two have poured into this institution over the past 30 years is incomparable to any other school. As a student, and a client I cannot reccomend New Dimensions enough. My time here has been an unforgettable experience, and finally graduating will be bitter sweet.My regular clients have been asking what other students I would reccomend, since Ill be leaving soon. I would reccomend every student here! Theyre all the best since they have the best instructors!

I always go here to get my eyebrows waxed, or my hair trimmed/thinned. They always do a fantastic job. Now I have an appointment set up for later on this week for a perm! Its always nice to treat yourself once in a while, but it makes the experience even better when you know you are going to get great service! After careful research of schools between Joplin and Springfield for cosmotology, I chose New Dimensions, and I am so glad I did. Here I have been given the freedom and encouragement to be myself, learn, and experiance first and seccond hand. If you think to yourself how interesting the beauty industry is but also say I wouldnt fit in THINK TWICE this place is so careing about who you are and you growing as a stylist. You will recieve the tools and techniques you will need to be successful in the work force, thats the point right? If you have the intrest and the drive, you BELONG HERE! I got a perm for $60.00. It only lasted a couple of weeks. Now my hair is falling out in clumps. They said my hair was healthy. Apparently it wasnt.

Do not waste your time and money going to this joke of a school. I learned two haircuts from her the entire time I attended: the zero, and the layered--thats it. The rest you learn from making your own mistakes. Moral is also low as a result of Sharon Clements gossiping to her own students about other students, and also by picking and choosing who has to follow the rules and who doesnt (ex: no cell phone, babe work, etc.). These practices are very unprofessional. I enrolled to this school because new classes started every month and it was most convenient at the time. Dont make the same mistake. Wait a couple of months for classes to begin at another school.

Messed up my hair gonna go back an see if they can fix it but it I asked for a man bun she ignored me I gusse or didn’t hear me an cut short on top an littler bit shorter on the sides the back of my hea is uneven......

I learned so much in the short time that I was taking my classes there. The staff is so kind and they explain things in a way that is very easy to understand.

Called to make an appointment and the guy that answered the phone acted like he had no idea what I was referring to when I asked if they did pedicures and acrylic nails. That helped me make decision on where I would be taking my sisters for them to get nails and feet done for back to school.
