Tell them an inch, they will take a mileI come to the Club Style Shop to trim my hair every couple of years. When I called to setup my appointment, I found out that my previous barber was no longer working there. So, I setup an appointment with another stylist named Norma. She told me that she had over twenty years experience in styling, so I deiced to give her a shot.When I arrived for my appointment, I asked to have seven inches of my hair removed. My hair was almost to the small of my back, so pretty long. She measured out the length on a comb to show me how much would be cut, and put a rubber band in my hair to make sure I could keep my ponytail when it was removed. Once she cut it, she trimmed it up to make it all even.When she was done, I found out that she had actually taken quite a bit more hair then I had specified and what was measured. She cut my hair to shoulder length and did not leave me much to pull back. I told her that it was shorter than I expected, and I was met with silence. She acted as though I was in the wrong for saying something about a poor job. That said, I could still get my hair back into a ponytail and it is hair, it will grow back. I didnt say more at the time because the damage had already been done.When I got back to my house, I decided to measure the ponytail I had kept to see exactly how much was removed on the initial cut. Turns out, almost THIRTEEN inches of my hair was removed on the initial cut, plus at least another inch to get it evened up. Over a foot! Now that I have measured it and seen what her work is like, I will not be a returning customer of hers, possibly even the shop. Nothing against the other barbers / stylists at The Club, but I will be seeking a new stylist next time.

Skip is a great barber and the club has a very laid back atmosphere.

Not the same location as in the early seventies, but the Pritchards still rock!
