The most honest and dependable place around. I used to take my car to them when I first started driving back in the late 90s! Took my car there to get it checked out last week and theyre still as awesome as ever. 10/10 would recommend

Hes a good and fair priced mechanic. My problem with him is he talks Way to much. Twice Ive had to wait for almost an hour for him to Get off The phone telling nothing but stories. One of them times I just left without so much as an Ill be right with you or even a recognition of being there. Very aggravating.

I take my truck in here every other year to get it inspected and I am always pleased about the service and my time spent here. I have never had to wait longer than 5 or 10 mins which is great for me since im always in a hurry. Mr. Efird and his staff are always polite . Location is very convienent also, right in the middle of town off 7th street. I highly recommend and will be returning myself!

Always feel like Im taking it in the shorts with mechanics, but not these guys. Theyre extremely fair. Im always expecting the worst, and its always reasonable. These guys dont drag things out either. I cant say enough about them, and I hesitate because other people will read this, start using them, have the same experience, and I wont be able to get my car in there, but they deserve credit for being the best Domestic shop Ive ever dealt with. I cant say how they are on Toyota or Honda, but I think they would tell me if they felt like someone else could take care of it.

We have used Efirds auto for several years, and have had pretty good service there. They do have a problem with communication, and they have a few mechanics who are beyond rude, but until recently the work was good. I took my car to them around Christmas due to steering issues. They had it for a few weeks, claimed the problem was fixed, I paid them, all was good. For about 2 weeks. Then the same problem happened, but worse, it actually broke down on the highway with my kids in the car. I had to have it towed back. This time they charged three times the original price to fix the problem. Got it back. Same deal. I didnt even make it home before the steering started to go. Had it towed back so they could fix their mistake.Once again, I was charged almost $300 to fix the problem. They also ordered parts and did work without consulting me first. When I questioned his service, David, the owner got angry, slammed his fist on the counter and started using foul language, and yelled personal insults at me in front of my five year old daughter. (repeatedly telling me to get this through my stupid, thick skull) When he got more agitated and came around the counter, I left with my daughter. He followed me into the parking lot yelling.My husband later retrieved the car as I didnt feel comfortable going back. As I said, they have done decent work for me before, but as a woman (who often has children in tow) I felt his behavior was less than professional. That, and the fact that I had to pay nearly five times what was originally stated to fix my vehicle (due to their mistakes) will keep me from ever doing business there in the future.
