Oh my goodness do I love this place! I wasnt even out of my car and 2 gentleman were on their way to assist me! I was even a tad late for my appointment and I was in and out so fast! I was expecting a much difficult process but Im beyond pleased with the service I was given and my new tires!!!

Had a major problem and Jarrod/Jared turned out to be Major Problem Superman. Special key lug nuts are a pain in the #ss. My son bought a used Subaru with the anti-theft lug nut on each wheel....with no key. After several calls to auto parts stores AND a check at the Subaru dealer, no one had the right socket. What no one else could do, Discount Tire with Jared/Jarrod at the wheel stepped up and with a can-do attitude took care of everything. We had to drive it to the store flat so there was a chance the rim needed replaced. No problem. He had one if needed. He replaced the 4 now useless lugs with new ones. He explained all the incredible after the sale benefits (which really are a good value). His demeanor (and all actually all the employees we encountered) was so professional & friendly. (A tip of the hat to all their mothers and the boss smart enough to hire them). Plus it was finished at time he told us.It truly was a good encounter on the Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend when we all wanted to be somewhere else. You wont go wrong here....I will guarantee that!

Greeted almost immediately by a well spoken young man that offered a good deal of assistance as I was selecting tires for my daughters truck. Shes a student at Missouri Southern and just didnt have time to take care of this need. First time ever in a DISCOUNT TIRE location for myself. This one was in Joplin MO.Fortunately for me I arrived about 9 AM on this Tuesday the 6th of April. Not long after arriving this place got remarkably busy. Everyone was greeted as if they were a friend or a member of the family. Quality time was spent with each customer to address their particular needs. Kinda a refreshing approach usually seen at good to great restaurants.Masks were worn by staff except those working in garage area.Overall a pretty good experience for someone thats never been here. I may or may not use this location for any personal tire needs. Largely I live a few miles closer to Springfield MO and majority of my family shopping takes place in Springfield.Final thoughts: a great place to get tires with very competent people providing terrific customer service even when very busy.

Great service. My wife and I blew a tire AND the rim way out in the rural lands on a Saturday. DT was open, we hobbled in on the temp spare, and they hooked us up within just a couple of hours. Shorter wait than they estimated. Price was reasonable. Hard workers. Very happy.

My experience was awful, I will never go there again or ever recommend them.They kept taking care of people coming in after me,till I finally said I was going to Walmart.Im sure they did this because I was not going to be charged since I had bought my tires there 2 years ago and just needed to have a tire checked for a slow leak also we are older much older than most people who came in after us.Walmart at least does do first come first served.Not happy at all with discount tire

The employees I interacted with were very nice and helpful. One even asked me about my Warhammer 40k book I brought in to read while I waited. It was super cool to see another fan of the setting, though I wasnt at all expecting to!

DONT order tires here especially if you talk to Gunner, told my brother a week ago told him they could order tires for my car. So here i am expecting to get my tires changed mind you two other people have told my brother they were on the way and now i will probably have to wait another day on bad tires. Get your online team together and communicate horrible service its not that hard to follow up.

Went to the store with a flat tire that I knew was going to need to replaced, was already off the vehicle, riding on the spare. Got there a few minutes after 5:00, waited less than 5 minutes to be helped, and they had the tire swapped, mounted and balanced, and the spare put back in place by 5:40, and the place was clean and Joseph, who waited on me, was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Jonathan was very helpful. We came by with our van vibrating and they got us in and out quickly. Will definitely be going back.

We went to Discount Tires, what we needed they didnt have at the moment but ordered them for the next Day. They are the friendliest staff that Ive been to in awhile, we got 4 new tires put on, they went out of their way to get it done in a small amount of time. The prices are awesome, couldnt beat them. I havent been anywhere where they had done all they could to satisfy their costumers as they done for us. Joseph thank you for your hard work on getting our tires changed out so fast, your an awesome person, If everyone that works their are as good as you and Im sure they are then this is an extremely wonderful place to have your vehicle serviced,I would go anywhere else.

Now I dont normally do reviews or complain to much. I go through discount tire exclusively. Now I had an appointment already set for 8:45am. I arrived at 8:40am I followed the rules by waiting next to your car until an associate came to you. Then I watched 4 cars come through and had been helped before I was even talked to. Now I find an issue with that.

Great service. I had ordered my tires last week and made the appointment in the process. I showed up this morning and they were prepared for me. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. I highly recommend them.

I had bought a car from a used dealer that had came with out a spare. I called discount tire and asked if there was something they could do. they suggested I get a full sized tire and wheel. I placed the order with them and I did not hear back from them till I called and asked about it weeks later. It seemed that they had nothing the could tell me about my order. but this time around they told me it would come in on a Wednesday. Well about two or three Wednesdays I called them again. A man by the name of Jon said that he would to some research and call me back after 20 minutes. After waiting for an hour and a half I still had no reply. I called them back and they said my wheel was on back order (something that they never informed me of from the start. I was very irritated at this point and asked him if he could get me an aftermarket one. he said he could have it there by the next day but refused to budge on the price even though it was their fault for having me wait this long to being with. what could have been $160 went to $210 it was either that or wait another week on something I should have had weeks ago. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the way that this was handled. I gave these people more than enough time to make this right and more than enough opportunity to do so. I will NEVER go back to this place.

Service was great and price was reasonable. Took a little longer than was expecting, but they kept me informed as to why and I was okay with waiting just a bit longer.

My tire blow out was extremely stressful but Cooper made the replacement of my tire (under warranty) a great experience. He went above and beyond and replaced the spare and tools back into the correct place, so I was back to where I started. Great service! friendly atmosphere. Clean and sanitary.

Yet another company that has fallen to COVID lack of service.I made an appt for 1230 for tire rotation and balance, I bought the tires there so its part of my service warranty. When making the appointment I was asked to arrive 10 min early so I did. 45 min after my appointment time they finally got me in for service. Took another 20 min to rotate and balance the tires. When I said something to Gunner, the manager on duty, the first words out of his mouth were well because of COVID I stopped him right there informed him Im so tired of business using COVID as an excuse for poor service.Why make an appointment if your not going to honor the time we agreed on. I understand things happen from time to time, but this is the third time, and to be given that excuse as the first response to my complaint?My time is just as valuable as yours.

Why do I have to get a 1 hour check up when I just need a plug in the tire. Sometimes the customer knows exactly what they need and just wants to get in and out.

It took me 43 minutes to put on my spare, took them 12 minutes to replace the tire and re-mount the spare under my vehicle. Great service!

I didnt know they were the most expensive tire shop in town,80 dollars just to replace one tire.

Very professional, way to deal with, not pushy. Edit: had a little problem with a tire and these guys never made me feel like I was imagining a problem. They were positive and were determined to find and fix the problem. And they did just that- found and fixed the problem, and carried a very nice, positive attitude all the time.

Today was a wonderful experience in Joplin!! My wife and I were greeted before stepping out of our vehicle with a knowledgeable staff member Cooper. After examining our tires we were escorted inside as if we we’re going to dine at a five restaurant. John and Ty were able to fit our vehicle with exactly what we were looking for and a price that can’t be beat. With all that is going on in our country Discount tire have made it flawless from start to end. I’ll never buy tires anywhere else but here. I’d like to thank everyone at the Joplin store for a wonderful experience especially the professionalism and value.

Gunnar was extremely helpful today. I went in with a low tire on my trailer (not sure how far Id driven with it low). The friendly staff had me in and out, with the tire repaired in about 20 minutes - at no charge. I got on the freeway and 5 miles later, it blew out. I called the store and Gunnar fixed me up with a replacement tire (again at no charge) and got me back on the road. First rate service and they stand behind their work 100%.

Having an appointment for 11:45 this morning I waited an hour and 15 minutes and then had to go in and complain. They said they must have gotten me mixed up with someone else with a GMC, how is that when they ask you to wait in your car then when they come to get it they call you by name. They did offer me a drink and then to buy me lunch, but I was so mad I refused them. I have 2 sets of tires to buy in the next 3 months, I am strongly considering going somewhere else..

We went in for air in a tire. The young man came over quickly and checked all tires. Found a screw in on tire. Fixed it and they all rushed around and so polite and the charge was nothing. We were kinda flabbergasted by the REAL SERVICE.. THANK YOU. WE WILL BE BACK ..

Having discovered a slow leak in a car tire as I was passing through Joplin Missouri headed back to Nashville, I found this Discount Tire location and even though they had been officially closed for 30 minutes, they were still there finishing up another customer. I pulled in, explained my tire situation and that I still had 600 miles to drive tonight, and they helped me without hesitation. Superior customer service to say the least. Went to Discount Tire after a not so great experience at Wal-Mart Service Center. Very quality customer service experience and quick turn around. I took my tire in to get fixed for a flat (that I bought from them). They told me it would be done in an hour and 20 minutes. I waited an hour and 45 minutes and still wasnt done so I took it to sams club and got it done in 20 minutes.

This was my 1st time at Discount Tire & I found The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, very quick & thorough when installing my tires. The prices are less expensive than I found any where else. I will no doubt be a return customer for ALL my wheel & tire needs. 2 thumbs up guys.

I called them at 5:40 and they close at 6. Matthew said come on in and well fix you up. Its a good thing I did because one of my tires had the wires showing on it. They were fast, amazingly friendly, and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?
