For over 3 decades we have worked hard in the Jonesboro community to change lives in a positive style with our professional karate, kickboxing, grappling, after school and summer camp martial arts programs. Children, Little kids, Teens and Adults all train in a clean, fun and positive atmosphere.

Ive been training for about 3 years now and it has been the best decision Ive made! I made new friends, Im doing something outside of school, and I have a goal! My attitude has changed since coming here. I use to be mad and mean all the time to joyful and fun to be around. These people are some of the nicest and helpful people you can find.

World Class!!My family and I have been with JPMAA for almost 5 years with my daughter reaching black level in December.Over these years, I have watched several kids and adults grow physically and mentally. If you just want to learn the cool martial arts moves and weapons then this is not your place. If you want to learn how to be a good person, leader, and gain the self confidence to succeed in life, this is your place. The staff and coaches are second to none. I feel like my family and I spend as much time at JPMA as we do at home..and we wouldnt have it any other way! The positive, energetic atmosphere is exactly what I was looking for when looking for an after school program for my boys as well as an extra curricular activity. Theyve advanced so much from a martial arts standpoint, but the character that is being shaped by the staff is something you will not find anywhere else. This program is not one that doesnt fit everyone. Anyone can find something that appeals to them, and will be made to feel like family along the way!

Absolutely fantastic program. It has helped my daughters self confidence more than I ever thought possible. I would recommend JPMAA to anyone with no hesitation! They create champions, and the respect and self confidence that is taught there spills over into all areas of these kids lives!

Ive been training here for several years. The staff are great and have a lot of patience. There really is a program for everyone of any age group and skill level. If you want to learn to defend yourself, just get in better shape, or are looking for a new hobby, this is the place to go.

JPMAA has the best instructors ever and staff, they genuinely love these kids. My son has attended here for close to 2 years now and loves it. The new studio is absolutely beautiful, state of the art equipment, super safe and clean. This is the best martial Arts program in Arkansas hands down!

It is fun and athletic. It helps your balance, respect and focus. This also teaches you self defense. The self defense part has helped me multiple times.

Love it! Love it! Love it! Started by enrolling my daughter for Summer camp 2013.. She had her reservations at first but now I cant tear her away.. Her social skills, respect, confidence, focus and behaviors have all turned a complete 180 since she started. Once I saw what it did for her, I joined her to learn and became very serious about it myself. Mr. Perry and his staff are the best group of people Ive met and their professionalism is unmatched.. I highly recommend JPMAA to anyone! If you want to improve your life, simply learn self defense, or give your child something wonderful, JPMAA is the place to do it!

Absolutely LOVE the staff of Instructors and the FAMILY atmosphere at JPMAA! They always make us feel so welcome and make my son feel very special! The Self Confidence he has gained from training at JPMAA is awesome and he always looks forward to the next class! I highly recommend anyone interested in getting their child in a structured, positive activity to check out Joey Perrys and I see tons of Adults doing the Kickboxing and Self Defense class too! My son, Colton, went to JPMAA for 8 1/2 years. I will say what I have always said about that...best money I ever spent!!! Joey Perry is a great person. I was a single father when C started there. Mr. Perry immediately took to Colton. He took extra time to mentor my son. Not because I was paying his tuition to go there, but because he genuinely loved my kid! He cares about his students. Colton pretty much worshipped Mr. Perry. Colton mot only learned how to protect himself, he learned so many other valuable traits. Respect, manners, compassion and how to be a friend. To EVERYONE you encounter in your life. The things he learned there have helped him so much as he has started moving into adulthood. I am proud to know Mr. Perry. I am also proud of him when I see his influence in my sons life.

Enrolling my daughter in Mr. Perrys program has been the best decision I could have made for her. The benefits of this program go far beyond the discipline of karate. She is learning each form, exercising, learning the value of team work and respect, and good sportsmanship.Beyond all of the those things she has become more focused, accountable, determined, self-reliant and willing to participate. She has a great sense of personal accountability that not only helps her at karate but also at school and at home.I would urge any parent to not just consider enrolling their children, but run to the nearest location and get them signed up. Absolutely the best money I could spend. My daughter has become a very self confident person. She has finally found her niche thanks to JPMAA. The staff is second to none. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and know how each child learns and takes that into account when introducing new material. The major theme of JPMAA is RESPECT! They teach it and practice it daily. The instructors are not just teaching but they are continuing to grow by completing higher level testing and participating in tournaments and are part of a demo team. I highly recommend JPMAA.

Champions!!!!!! Most of the time you equate winning awards for being a champion ( you can do that here too) I have seen first hand the championship ways of JPMA. These students travel hundreds of miles to compete and they are a standout group from the youngest to the tallest not because of their winning ways but with their attitudes and willingness to help others. JPMA will build you or your child into championship form. I am a fellow instructor in Springfield, Mo and I would recommend anyone to this program. My son has been going to JPMAA since he was 2 1/2 (he is almost 7 now) and we have loved every minute of it. The JPMAA staff is so much more than just instructors or another buisness, they are a family. My son strives to make his instructors proud on and off the mats daily and has learned so much in the years of attending here. I have gotten several awesome things out of JPMAA Kickboxing. First, Im living a healthier lifestyle. I feel and look better, inside and out. Second, I am challenged by each workout. Kickboxing is not easy. It is strenuous, but I feel like a million bucks afterwards. Third, the teachers are wonderful! Mrs. Tosha and Mr. Will, though different in styles, both positively motivate the class. They have both helped me improve my strength, coordination, and technique. Fourth, every time I have walked into class I have been greeted by the nicest people! Mrs. Kelly, Mr. Joey, Mr. Eric, and Mr. Alvin make JPMAA a comfortable atmosphere that I always feel most welcome. Finally, I adore the people I work out with. It feels as if we are a little workout family. Were all trying to meet the same goal of becoming healthier, stronger, and simply better, so the only completion is with yourself, not with others. The people that come to JPMAA are so supportive and encouraging to one another that even when you feel like you want to give up, you have your teachers and classmates cheering you on which motivates you to keep going.JPMAA is a wonderful community that I am proud to be a part of!

My son has loved playing with sticks, broom handles, mop handles, anything that he could that represented a bo staff since he was old enough to know what to do with them. Thank you to Mr. Perry and all the instructors and students who are now lifelong friends. Cody has found his heart at JPMAA! He not only has run out of room for trophys, hes a 2nd degree black belt, 2 time Arkansas State Champion in Weapons, and an instructor (Mr. Wilson) at the Academy! We love our JPMAA family!
