If you love yourself and walking again DO NOT go to any Hangar Clinic!! The absolute worst of the worst.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the Hanger Clinics. I have used them for years. Well trained people in the office and also the prosthetists and orthotiststs. They are very busy, but do their best to provide good care.
We are extremely disappointed in our experience at the Joliet office. My husband was casted for his one brace on our original visit, but that they had questions for the doctor. When I called there to see if they got in touch with the doctor, I was told we had to come in to have a second cast made because the first one was not done properly, a phone call would have been nice. We were not called to tell us that the brace was in, I needed to call them to find this out. I was told they could squeeze me in for an appointment at 8:30 a.m. two days later. We arrived at 8:10 a.m. because they are supposed to open at 8:00, but the doors were locked. We watched employees walk across the parking lot to open the doors at 8:15 and more employees show up between 8:15 and 8:30 when we entered the building. This makes me wonder what time they might have shown up if they were squeezing us in. At our appointment we were told that the wrong brace was made and my husband needed to be casted a third time (yes, 3 times for one brace). Once again, a phone call informing us of this would have been nice and could have saved some time. After advocating on my husbands behalf that his PT had already started and I wanted him to have his brace for this, we were told they could rush and order and they could have it in less than a week. We did eventually get the brace, but the lack of communication and incompetency at this location is ridiculous.
Everyone provided us with courtesy and care. I would not hestitae to recommend them. Duwayne was a pleasure to work with!

Dont go to their Joliet location unless you have all day to wait for them EVEN IF YOU HAVE A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. In addition, they certainly were not concerned or accommodating with trying to reschedule an appointment as soon as possible. Clearly they dont care about your time schedule, only theirs. Then when we tried to re-schedule they didnt even apologize for their lack of efficiency.
Worse place ever, i waited 3 weeks, then they call me the morning of appt. And say not end yet, i ask why didnt you call me? Oh, i did. But didnt leave message, im sorry,,, i dont need your sorry, just do your job...i went by my insurance company, they said they just put the order in,,WHAT, its been 3 weeks...they lied to me,, ILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN...my mom also also had problems with them...
