Great place! Had to get my semi-vintage 2002 CRT TV fixed here, as there are no formal vintage TV repair shops up here in Northern Illinois (Rockford) Price was amazingly cheaper than expected, and owner was amazingly kind and cordial. Just be advised, he is doing all/most of this work solo, and is appointment only, no walk ins. But otherwise, Im very pleased with his work, and would gladly come again for any other issues in the future!

My laptop was having issues with its battery, and lenovo said it would take almost 3 weeks for them to fix. Albertronics fixed it in less than a day! This is 100% on me, but I was late to both appointments made, but he handled it graciously and both our appointments were quick and simple. If I could give more stars I would!

After picking up the Boombox n testing it at home, I quickly realized the sound was muffled and it was rattling. Maybe if you catch him in good mood, he may show some concern. But dont expect him to remember any of the details he gave you the next time you talk to him. Bottom line, I dont trust people who say one thing and do another - or even worse, dont follow through with commitments. I am sure he feels his time is valuable but so is other peoples time.

Was having issues with my computer 🖥, with speed and having trouble connecting to the internet. I brought it to Albertronics for repair. I got it back and I am very happy with my computer. I feel like a kid with a new toy. It is even better than when I first bought it. The speed is great at start up and while doing my projects. I called to Albertronics looking for a place to fix our TV screen. The man that answered the phone was very pleasant and asked questions to gage if he would be able to fix our TV. Based on our responses he let us know that unfortunately the TV screen cant be fix (which we kinda figured but was hoping for a miracle). We appreciate him not wasting our time or money. Great shop for CRT fixes! I have a Pachinko machine that had a white horizontal line in the middle of the screen. After trying multiple times to find a place to fix a CTR screen (5 color) for years, I found these guys! Many shops told me (Thats a long lost art of fixing CRTs). But whatever, Albertronics took in may machine and got it up and running within a week or two.After 6 years of being broken and getting the run around from other shops, Albert got it done right away. I took my Macbook in that was extremely water damaged (a whole cup of water fell on it). It didnt turn on anymore and the fans were going crazy. If I had taken it to Apple or BestBuy, they would most likely made me buy an entirely new one of how bad it was which this Macbook was around $2,500. I had lost hope and was extremely frustrated since I started my last semester in college. I saw the positive reviews for this place and just took it here. Its around a 40 minute drive for me but very worth it. They fixed it and works like nothing every happened to it. The only thing is that it did take around 2-3 weeks to fix but I was discounted a bit for it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Very affordable and gets the job done!

I had a constant issue with another repair company trying to get my ps4 fixed and after getting tired of being ripped off I decided to bring my game console to Albertronics and I instantly felt comfortable just by walking in. I gave the business my 46 TV March2020. They were closing and sold me a 65 TV which I was happy about. They told me to test which I did.I set the new used TV in my living room until I could buy a console and remove our old projection TV. Now that put I up the TV I purchased from Albertronics, it will not stay on for over 10 mins and now recently today no picture just sound. I talked to Albert he was very defensive and would not let me talk, even though I said I appreciate their business. He yelled about 30 day warranty even though I said I did not expect anything for free. He got mad and hung up on me and would not talk to me when I called back. I was as nice as I could be. Horrible experience I paid for a TV that I never used. Sad and disappointed. Not Customer friendly.

Brought my system to him roughly 6 months ago. He was very nice at first and promising a fix for my system. He took a long time to fix each time and that wasn’t a problem at first until I had to pick it up and bring it home for it to work on time before stopping again or not working at all. I brought it to him numerous times and each time the wait got longer and he barely answered the phone when I called and he never answered the texts at all given that he said texting is a way to communicate with him. He kept replacing the same part instead of really diagnosing the problem at hand which you pay for the diagnosis fee and he didn’t even take the time to diagnosis it. How could you replace the same part 5 times and not think maybe that isn’t the problem lol. I spent over 100 dollars just in gas going back and forth to his place of operation. He kept acting friendly although he couldn’t fix it or give me proper timetables for the fix and never answering his phone. He even offered refunds but consisted on fixing it instead. Never got the fix, got constant excuses as why he couldn’t fix it in time or test it before giving it back and then when I finally asked for a refund because I was tired of being patient and this guy not caring for the customer he tried lying about it and the warranty he gave then called back giving me a possible refund and then revoking it until I called him out for the mess this last 6 months have been then he never answered me back and now I’m stuck with a defective product. I will never go to this guy again and I will make sure nobody I know goes to him for electronic services.Edit since I can’t respond ***He has since replied to this insisting I lied but then proved himself by saying he would post my text which HE DID NOT TAKE THE SECONDS TO RESPOND TO. He was and is unreliable. I met with him many times whenever he was open because apparently he was so busy and doesn’t take walk ins. Half the time I got there I’d have to wait for him to come back to his place of business. He mentions he had my system working and running... what working for 5 minutes? I’d take it home and play a game for an hour go back the next day and it didn’t read again!!! So replacing a laser more than 2 to 3 times would show any logical person with common sense that A. Either that wasn’t the problem or B. Something is causing the laser to go bad. But this guy was so lazy he did the same thing over and over and sometimes even admitted on the phone when I’d call him that I could pick it up but he didn’t test it lmao. I always had someone in the car with me and near me when I called him to verify what was going on because it was always laughable that I waited patiently as long as I did. I also had friends, my mother, and girlfriend see how my system didn’t operate time after time when he supposedly fixed it... why would I make that up? I just want to play games. This guy also was so unreliable that he NEVER ONCE called me saying my system was fixed I had to always call him and check up on him like a little kid who forgot to check in with his mom while playing with friends. This guy also begs for his customers to come on here and give him good reviews that’s why my review immediately knocked him to a 4.8 from that so called perfect 5.0. They are also unorganized, I called another time to fix it and a female at the shop couldn’t even find any of my information that he did any services for me. I have no reason to lie because I have nothing to lose. If this guy was honest, didn’t try to con me and blame stuff on his new technician and then take back a full warranty to save a few bucks in his pockets I wouldn’t be here having to explain myself. Grow up Albert I’m 22 years old youre about a 55 year old man lying. Be honest, god is watching

I was having problems with my Sony projector. It seems that one of the fans had burned out. I took my projector in to Albert and he had it back to me, repaired, in 4 days. Im probably going to take my computer in to get fixed next week. I was quite satisfied and will most likely use his services again when I need any of my electronics serviced. The cost to replace the fan including labor was a very fair $125.

So I had a bit of an accident with my ps4. I yanked on the lan cable and it really messed up the port. Took it here and got it back in only 4 days. He rushed it and the service was very professional. Ill Definitely return for any electronics repair!

Dropped off a TV to get repaired simple job was told. Covid happed so it was months before my tv was done. I get that. Finally it was done. Well it wasnt done. So he told me it will be done in a week with attitude. Then went to go and pick it up. He told me that one of his customers hit my tv and shadder it. He offered to try and fix it. HE COULDNT EVEN FIX IT. So he offered me a tv that was old and really garbage. I said no thanks. He wanted me to buy it. He also took parts off of my tv. Had another repair shop look it over. Worst business ever total scam and a rip off.

Bought a tv part from Alberto off of ebay, and went into his store to pick it up since I live in the area. When I got there, after some discussion, Alberto came to the conclusion I purchased the wrong part (bought the power board, but it was the main board that was faulty). He had the correct part in stock and swapped it for me. Alberto and his wife are super nice people, he knows his stuff and is very forthcoming with his knowledge of electronics. Terrible experience went to have my led lights replaced in my hd tv paid 175 dollars to get it done. So i get home after he finished taking longer then planned and notice a black spot in my tv now and then a light shining through so i bring it back he says he fixed the covers causing the lights to shine through the second time around. Few days later after his second repair it does it again and then a crack appears down my screen from the light covers he didnt replace properly heating it up on the inside. He ignored my messages and calls ever since then and i ended up having to buy a new tv anyway. Dont take your tv here if you value your tv at all.
