Scoping out my next international trip

Avoid this place like the plague! There was no problem booking, nor taking the deposit for two families to go on a trip. The problem was when both families needed to cancel months before the trip was to take place.When mine and another family needed to cancel our trips and inquired about a deposit refund we were told that by apple vacations policy there wouldnt be a refund. We spoke with apple, and they stated that that was not the case, the refund policy was set by the travel agency we went through. Had we gone straight through apple, we would have been refunded.One of the women at patterson then told us they would issue a partial refund ( which the amount wasnt even consistent with their own policy outlined in the confirmation email) ok, at least its something. Well, six months later and still zero refund. Reason? We were told patterson processed the refund, its our credit card companys problem. Credit card company has zero record of any refund processing. Needless to say, something is a little off. Dishonesty is putting it nicely.Again, avoid this place, go directly through Apple Vacations, youll get the same, or most times better deal. And with Apple there is at least some accountability with policy.
