They are very rude and disrespectful. Money hungry company which isn’t truly concerned about the future of others. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They have really nice counsellors Ashley is the best she really connects with her clients in such a theraputic manner but a lot of the staff are extreamly rude i have been hanged up and refused services they definetly dont care abut the clients they are just money hungry one of the persons higher up her name is mary she hung up on me and said there was nothing that we needed to talk about after i came to her with several concerns they are so unproffessional they love to rub in your face all the bad things you have done and love to scare you by telling that they have reported you being disrespectful to the staff yea i was but its only because i felt i wasnt being heard they just are not very supportive please dont waste your time

They have been helping us the best way that they know how! They get donations from generous donors throughout the community and they help people with other resources, so you really have to be patient with them! This is not a homeless shelter program! They help victims of domestic violence and their families! They do their best to reach out to people in the community as much as they can but they have other referral resources through other organizations. Based on personal experience, I can tell you that Ive been helped tremendously. I still have my beautiful London Fog peacoat that was donated to me brand new! Thank God they have helped my son and myself! Things are getting better gradually for us. Just taking one day at a time and not getting stressed out about matters anymore!

Isnt Guardian Angel part of DCFS? Because if so they are very disrespectful they took me away from my mom I dont like them at all they make money off of children getting taken away from their parents and I personally Hate DCFS & guardian angel they made it seem like my mom was just the worst mom on planet Earth . 1 star

Its a nice facility but the counselors are rude and disrespectful. They talk to you like you are a kid. They degrade you in your time of need. They dont help you with anything. They wouldnt even get my son a composition book. Guardian Angel misleads you into thinking youre going to get help but they just send you to another shelter. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT you better off just going to a shelter on your own. Poor use of Joliet IL tax payers money

I was in the tornado back when it came through Cresthill and Plainfield and they helped us with food and clothes they were super nice. They also helped my daughter get clothes for school. We were having a hard time due to loosening our son in the tornado.

If you have Kim assigned as a counselor, dont expect any dedication whatsoever. She clearly is not cut out for this line of work.At a time when she should be building a trusting relationship with someone that is seeking help, she couldnt be bothered to show up for 3 of my 5 scheduled appointments. Though she did call less than 12 hours before the first one she cancelled, I only discovered that the other two werent happening after sitting in the waiting room for an hour like an idiot.Combine this with the fact that she said she would be telling me different things if we were in a different setting and I know damn well that she doesnt buy into any of what Ive been told that led me there in the first place. Thanks for nothing.

Where to start... this place needs a better domestic violence course.horrible instructors, money hungry, and rude.my dad can barely afford his food, and they canceled some classes, still expected to get paid for the canceled classes.WOULD YOU PAY 30 DOLLARS FOR A CANCELED CLASS?when my father said he wouldnt, the instructors attitude changed, and became vile and ignorant.to our surprise they said he wasnt allowed back to the classes, even with money . so much for being angels. more like satanic demon community services. WE JUST WANTED OUR DAD TO BECOME A BETTER FATHER.
