My Haley Mansion experience was nothing more than amazing! Their service was impeccable ππ½ you will definitely get what you pay for. Beautiful venue, I wish we could do it all over again! Their staff was so pleasant! I loved the fact that they have servers for each table so your guest dont have to wait in line at the main bar for drinks. Everything was just beautiful!
Im a Wedding Planner who worked at Haley Mansion for the first time this past weekend and I was blown away by their teams execution of this event! Sandy and Savanna were both lovely to work with leading up to the event. So organized and helpful in the postponement process for our couples original 2020 date. On the event day, the entire serving and bartending staff were the definition of excellence, but Anthony and Eloy shined brightest. Their willingness to work with our team and completely in sync partnership with everything we planned was phenomenal! Highly recommend!

My husband and I can not say enough good things about the Haley Mansion. It was the very first venue we looked at for our wedding and after leaving we cancelled the rest of our venue appointments. The mansion is beautiful!! We fell in love with everything about the place. The staff was remarkable. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and Sandy was so helpful throughout the entire annoying process of having to change dates. Fast forward to the day of and we could not have been more blown away!! The staff made sure all of our decorations and any requests that we had were taken care of. The servers were always on point and never made a guest wait for a drink. And the food was incredible! Who knew a simple dish of chicken, potatoes and veggies could taste so good?! I think we got the most compliments on the food and the staff. Hands down the best day of our lives!
This place is stunning! The mansion, ballroom and outdoor area are all very well maintained. The only thing I am not fond of is the area its in, but I can get over that!

As a wedding photographer at Bozena Voytko Photography I totally adore this venue. Itβs not only gorgeous but also very comfortable for one stop wedding venue. You both can get ready in two different parts of the place with a lot of natural light for photo and video. Ceremony can be held both in and outside. There is no need to find a portrait location since every corner of this amazing venue is a photo worthy. Fantastic venue for any season of the year! I love to shoot there! And also they are super, super nice for the vendors β₯οΈ
DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING WITH THIS PLACE!!! I viewed it with my mother and they offer no solutions for elderly guests who may have problems with stairs, they are not handicap accessible. The staff is atrocious and is not willing to work with you to offer flexible solutions. You want to partner with a venue that will want to work with you to make your special day a stress free experience and go the extra mile, that is not this place. If you have a life threatening illness such as cancer and need to seak chemotherapy treatment they will not work with you if your date is not able to be rescheduled with in a year despite a pandemic also occurring. I canβt even think about anyone having their wedding here with out realizing they are doing business with bad people that do not care for others and only want a profit at the end of the day. They see you as a transaction.
My Nephew wedding was held in this venue. First I was not a happy camper hearing that it was located in Joilet IL. Sorry, just to far for my liking. I took a Lyft and road on Telsa never been on one and it felt Iike was in space ship flying down the expressway. Haley Mansion is just off the expressway. The Mansion is beautiful and Haunted so they say. If yout looking for a Victorian wedding and stunning venue this is it. You are able to walk the grounds and each Floor. The garden where the ceromony took place was picture perfect. The only complaint was the food service was late with serving dinner. The plates are like $80.00 Per person. So for any future Bridezilla check this place out.
A friend of mine had there wedding reserved, and had gotten diagnosed with cancer, do not waste your money here after reaching out they had only given her 1 year to reschedule, obviously that is not something that may be possible or something that is even a thought under the circumstances. $40,000 dollars wasted. do not spend your money with these evil people.

Breathtaking!! My little sister got married here and the whole experience from start to finish was amazing!!! Bridal suite was perfect for all of the bridesmaids. Staff was very friendly, grounds were breathtaking, the food was delicious and the reception hall was very large and beautiful.Within the mansion the information on the history of Patrick Haley was incredible to read. However all the decor on all 3 levels is what Ill never forget. I highly recommended visiting PHM.

After being diagnosed with cancer 4 months before our wedding the Haley Mansion refused to refund ANY of our money. We needed it for medical bills and after explaining our situation countless times they refused to refund us. They said we could reschedule with them in a year but obviously having cancer and not knowing if I would even be alive by then made rescheduling basically impossible.I am absolutely disgusted with this βbusinessβ and could never recommend anyone I know booking an event here.
My God is this place incredible. Even tho it wasnt my money, I say the money pit into this place is money well spent! The bathrooms were immaculate as well as the decorum. Every single detail was taken care of here. The workers are extremely professional. If there were an accident or mistake it was taken care of that moment, not delegated and forgotten about. The food was phenomenal. If this is how the rich and powerful live their lives, then I need to hurry up and get rich and powerful quickly! 10/10 would recommend and will go back every chance I get.
This was my dream venue! Beautiful garden for the ceremony, classy decor for the reception where you could still see the outside (which was ideal in case we got rained out. I still wanted it to feel like an outside wedding and the glass conservatory would have made a lovely plan b if necessary but thankfully it wasnβt!), and a fun interior that made you feel like you were in a period romance novel!Every single guest at our wedding commented on how gorgeous this venue was. A lot of them had fun roaming through the mansion. The food was great especially the peppermint ice cream and the staff was excellent! Having heard from many other brides I expected to not have any food during cocktail hour but a server brought a tray out for us to snack on during the photos and the maitre d was always there to refill my drink so I didnβt have to go to the bar. I worked with savanna for the planning and she was an absolute delight to talk to each time. And I cannot thank them enough for their flexibility during the covid pandemic. Our original date was in April of 2020 which did not happen so when we needed to reschedule they gave us a lot of flexibility with our date since we rescheduled over a year out and weβre very generous with our guest count since it was during the vaccine roll out and we had people waiting until the last minute to rsvp and then a few that cancelled after the fact.The only thing I can would recommend is when you are filling out your contract, donβt wait until the tasting to put in your food and drink in. You can probably always negotiate up but we didnt lock in our ideas early so we when the new year rolled around (we had planned our wedding out over a year before we needed to reschedule so this was not due to covid) the prices for everything went up a dollar or two and that adds up.

Fun and different location for a wedding reception. The historical home is nice for cocktail hour because you feel like you are at an intimate home party. After, for dinner/dancing, everyone enters into the renovated old pool area .. now a gorgeous dinning/dancing area. Dinner is perfect. Management is super easy to work with. We had our dream wedding thanks to Patrick Haley Mansion. From the moment we went in for a tour, we were treated like royalty. Every time we called with any question or comments, each staff member knew who we were and was so in tune with our planning process. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and perfect for the summer wedding we had been envisioning for years. The mansion itself has so much history, not to mention the food was incredible. The staff worked closely with our other vendors to make sure everything went as smooth as possible. Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to the incredible staff at Patrick Haley Mansion.
Trashy people, you owe my friends their money back
It was okay. The service was good. Beautiful photos were taken. I am just not into edible flowers on my plate. It is a very expensive venue. Just remember that you only take home memories at the end of the night.
This building is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. I was here for a wedding and when I entered, a host greeted me and gave me directions for the coat room, bar, and ballroom. He indicated where to find my place card so that I would know at which table I would be seated and he showed me where coffee would be served after the reception. He also advised me to explore the upstairs as walking through the rooms would be worth the time. The ballroom was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. The table service was very good and the servers were all polite and helpful. The restroom was clean and well stocked. I also noticed that there was a wheelchair lift from the main floor to the ballroom floor. The ballroom had full windows on three sides and the view was lovely. There seemed to be plenty of parking next to the house but there was also overflow parking across the street. Ive heard that the price to use this facility is quite high, but they do a wonderful job of making guests feel at ease.
My husband and I had our wedding at the Inn/Haley Mansion last weekend. The entire staff was extremely attentive, pleasant, and helpful. They made sure the day went off without a hitch. They were accessible throughout the day and responded promptly to all of our needs and requests. Their five-star service continued after the conclusion of the wedding as they carefully packed and organized all of our decorations to make for an easy clean up in the morning. They were genuinely invested in making sure that our day was absolutely perfect. The mansion is charming and unique with gorgeous views and plenty of photo opportunities.A special thank you to Mary Brasile who took over as our wedding planner. She took the time to meet with us in person, answered all inquiries promptly and thoroughly, and made us feel relaxed and confident that everything was taken care of. She was genuinely excited for us and invested in our special day. She listened to all of our ideas and made them come alive with her own decorative and creative touches. We would highly recommend the Haley Mansion, Mary, and the staff for a fabulous wedding experience.
We had our wedding cancelled due to Covid-19 unfortunately and this venue REFUSES to give back our deposit. A deposit for a now cancelled event due to an act of God. Wedding venues are supposed to be helpful and caring to their clients and this place is the exact opposite. I do not recommend this venue and am highly disappointed that they cannot be accommodating that we had to cancel our wedding for something out of our control.

Stay away. Horrible people to do business with. Had to postpone original wedding date and also second wedding date. I asked for a refund of my $7900 and was told no. $7900 is a lot of money that they are stealing from us. They asked me to reschedule and this would be a third time. Weddings arenβt like vacations to were postponing is easy to do. Sandy and the Haley Mansion were not understanding or compassionate to our feelings and there clear efforts to capitalize on the current crisis. Very upsetting.STAY AWAY.
My friends wedding was canceled due to COVID-19. They were very upset, but knew they had to keep themselves, friends, and family safe during this time. They gave the mansion applicable notice as to their thoughts and what they were going to do. The Haley Mansion is refusing to refund them their money due to this pandemic going on. I find this very selfish as there is nothing my friends can due regarding this public health concern. Had this not happened, they would have kept their contract with The Haley Mansion to have their wedding. The contract was not broken and they still asked about hosting a 6 person wedding to fulfill their contract. The Haley Mansion refused. Absolutely ridiculous.
My daughter had her wedding there last Saturday. The servers didnβt even walk through the room with appetizers. It took 20-30 minutes to get a carafe of water. Food was excellent. The dinner, desserts were wonderful! It took an act of god to get another key to the 3rd floor dressing rooms. My mom needed her oxygen tank, it was locked in the room. The servers were helpful when it was time to pack all the decorations. The service was definitely not what we were told it was going to be.
Fabulous place for a wedding, charming and romantic
I had high expectations for a wedding I was involved in at the Mansion. Due to COVID19, the wedding had to be canceled for its intended date of April 11. As a non-essential business, the venue was closed for business and inaccessible for any event that day. Unfortunately, the venue now refuses to work with the couple in any reasonable way. They provided absurd postponement date options, such as 9/11, Halloween, and the day after Christmas. And then they refused to return the $8,000 the couple paid this business for a service that they were unable to use. I definitely expected a more helpful and empathetic customer service approach from a place that hosts something as emotionally important as a wedding. Seriously disappointed in The Haley Mansion.
This was our dream wedding location. Everything about it was beautiful and worth every penny. Due to the pandemic, our wedding in April was canceled and needed to be rescheduled. We rescheduled for the end of July. I was told by Sandy that we could have 50 people attending. Not the dream wedding, we wanted all of our family to be their with her family being in California and cannot leave we didnβt want to have it. Sandy refused to corporate with us and it has left bad feelings in our family that I would just like my money back. Sandy has refused to refund our money even though this is an act of god and is stated in our contract. I would not recommend any wedding there due to the unprofessionalism of the way our situation was handled.
I was extremely excited to get married here. Due to covid-19 Sandy told me we could not have our wedding as planned. Which I completely understand I asked if we could still just have a 10 person ceremony and no reception. She told me no. I then asked for my deposit back because they can not put on the event I planned. She said they are not refunding the money but will allow us to reschedule within the year. I told her I have no intentions on rescheduling because we still planned on getting married on the date. I feel itβs just bad business not refunding the deposit for which they could not put on the event! Very disappointed! Hopefully they make it right and refund the deposit

We attended a wedding in October at The Haley Mansion and we were impressed at the beautiful, unique venue! The large ballroom was gorgeous and spacious. The staff was attentive, served all the tables quickly, and the food was delicious. What a wonderful evening!

I recently got married at the Haley Mansion and have nothing but great things to say! The venue itself was beautiful but the staff is what really stood out to me as a bride. They were always availability to answer my questions and were very organized. This was huge for me because I was planning from Tennessee. They kept things moving smoothly and in line with the schedule. The food was incredible! Tasted amazing and was served hot and well presented. I would absolutely recommend getting married here!
My husband and I got married here last night and, as you can tell by how quickly Im writing this review, I was absolutely over the moon about the Haley Mansion. I wish I could hug every employee that was there last night to thank them for how much they helped make our wedding spectacular. The reception went off without a hitch. My guests (~230) raved about the decor, the elegance of the mansion, how delicious the food was & the overall service. I worked with Sandy, who was an absolute godsend during the last month before our wedding. She was so quick to respond to questions and the mansion was unbelievably accommodating for us. We dropped off our wedding essentials on Thursday, went through the checklist of what everything was & how it should be used, and everything was set up PERFECTLY for the wedding. I mean down to a T, the details were perfect. I cant thank the staff enough for helping our vision come to life for the reception.
I had my wedding here on March 14th, 2020. I can honestly say I really have no complaints. The communication among the staff at the Mansion is impeccable. Sandy, Hannah and Adrianna were my primary points of contact and they never missed a beat. I had a lot of things I dropped of 2 days before my reception and everything was absolutely perfect, down to every detail I wanted. I received so many compliments about the food and service all night, and the days to follow. I do want to mention, that my reception came right before the Covid lockdown, and I was very anxious leading up to my big day, Sandy reassured me that the staff was cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day and night and would be taking extra precautions to ensure my guests safety. All in all it was an amazing place to have my reception, I wish I could do it every weekend!!! Thanks a million to all the staff!
We had our wedding here in September. From the planning process (meetings, tastings, drop-offs), to decorations, to the staff...everything was literally perfect. Eloy (our main host) was exceptional and catered to our every need. The Haley Mansion is an amazing place to have a wedding and I cant recommend it enough. Amazing venue, amazing people, amazing time.

I canβt say enough about this place. My son had his wedding here Friday night. From the service to the food to the wedding details everything was perfect! To be able to serve 175 people in a timely manner and everyoneβs food was hot was an accomplishment in itself.Needless to say, I highly recommend this venue. The guest raved about the service and food. We are still getting text and emails the next day commenting about what a wonderful wedding.Congratulations to the management, chef and staff for a wonderful evening and long lasting memories for our family!

We seem to end up at this venue a few times a year and it is always a pleasure!The staff, the location, the atmosphere...everything is awesome!Their outside area may seem small, but it allows for such a variety in photo/video backgrounds. Also the inside is spectacular so even on a rainy day you can expect to get awesome shots!
We had our reception here August 2019. I was truly expecting a 5 star experience with all the great reviews they have. We fell inlove the first time we came for tour. The girls who helped us were SO nice. But unfortunately the coordinator, Sandy, we ended up having to work with was extremely difficult and rude. Not helpful at all. I expressed all the issues we were having and thankfully they were able to have us work with Adriana who was such a delight to work with!! But that wasnβt until the last few weeks before the wedding. If it wasnβt for her I think I would have lost all hope on top of how stressful it already is to plan a wedding! We also had an incident with a bartender they had for the night, this was a mixed Hispanic/ white reception and a bartender made a racist comment toward the mother of the bride even while the groom was standing there. I brought this up to management unfortunately there really isnβt anything anyone can do to fix the issue, they have failed to hire respectful employees. Eloy addressed the issue as best as he could and we were thankful. Overall the food was good, it was hot. The venue itself is beautiful. They promise a lot of things and donβt execute. However there wait staff is AMAZING. If it wasnβt for how hard they work I think I would have left 1 star. They all truly make up for anything that went wrong.
You cant help to fall in love with the people that work with you from the beginning to the very end. After it was all said and done I felt like they were family. The service, and the food, Amazing!!! So happy to have found such a beautiful and amazing place for such a special occasion. They truly knew what they were doing and the wedding was a success.
This was our number 1 venue choice for our wedding. They lied and said the date I requested was booked. I called back to double check if the date was actually booked and the lady over the phone told me it was not. The person that gave me a tour made quite a few racial slurs that I did not appreciate. The venue was beautiful but my tour guide was the reason we did not book this venue. She kept referring to the menu saying we have a lot of chicken options....but if she would have been listening to me she would have known I wanted steak. She talked down to me as if I was illiterate or did not understand. Anything I asked it was a hard no. She never checked with her manger or anything. She did a horrible job and it was a bad experience. This venue was well under our budget and we were ready to book before on the spot.
My husband and I just had our wedding reception here 1 week ago and we are still talking about how amazing it was! Everything was perfect from the moment we chose to have our wedding celebration here. From the first initial details meeting to the final one, the staff at the PHM were attentive and answered all of our questions promptly and sufficiently. Our guests were so impressed. We had 230 people and the service was outstanding. No one waited long for a drink and the food was served HOT and was delicious. We highly recommend having your wedding reception here, we are so sad it is over but we will never forget how wonderful this place was.

From the first day, the follow up meetings, the planning and the special understanding that we received from Jan, our liaison for this most special event was perfect at every turn. She missed NOTHING. She always asked, she was perfect. I can not say enough, I can not be thankful enough, I truly appreciate everything Jan did for my daughter, myself, and all of our guests. My friends wedding at the Patrick Haley Mansion was amazing. The place is beautiful and so perfect for a grand event like a wedding. I am a musician and was providing music for the ceremony. The staff was so helpful during the rehearsal and also during my set up for the wedding. The afternoon of the wedding, as I was getting dressed at the mansion, I noticed several wrinkles in the new tie I had purchased just for the wedding. I looked in the mirror several times thinking it was no big deal, but I didnt feel comfortable wearing a new tie that didnt look sharp. I asked the staff if they had a steamer, and sure enough they did. They took the time to help me, steam the wrinkles out and fix the problem. Today my FiancΓ© and I walked into the mansion & the greeter said hello, we explained we were just checking out the venue and we were interested in a tour. The greeter sent us over to the office where their wedding planner/ banquet manager treated us like we were such an inconvenience. There was a wedding going on and she did explain that they protect their bride & groom when having a private wedding, which is totally understandable! But the way she treated us was not necessary. Also, the greeter should be telling customers that you are closed for a private event, rather than let us walk around to the office so we can be treated like we are committing a crime. This venue was very beautiful, but we will not be back for our tour. With as nice as this venue really was, their poor hospitality ruined it for us. Good luck to all that choose to stick with this venue, we hope you get better customer service than we did.

As a wedding coordinator and decorator this place is really a nightmare to decorate. They are not flexible on allowing you to set up. They only let you in 2 hours before the event starts. Yikes! Id really think about this when deciding on booking.
