Anytime I get a box from UPS in this area it is pretty much crushed, halfway open or damaged by the time it makes it to me. Now they like to send things by UPS Sure post where it goes through USPS to arrive at your door. So instead of admitted that their staff destroys packages they just blame it on the local USPS office. Btw my local USPS is fantastic and I have never received a damaged package that was mailed directly through them.Some lady from UPS once called me and said they would look into it... Obviously not. They also make it almost impossible to make direct complaints to that specific warehouse.
Made me wear a mask even though fully vaccinated. Both ear loops broke within 5 minutes. Shipped my package though

This UPS location tells you more what they cant do, then what they can. Some customer service. They seem to turn people away more than help. Brought in an item for them to scan/send back to Amazon about a month ago. No problem. Today, we dont do that, were not a UPS Store. Never said you were. Why process the package then and not now? Cant believe an area this large doesnt have a local real UPS Store. Regardless, this place needs a Customer Service makeover - better yet, if you dont want to help, shut it down and quit wasting our time.
Store doesnt even honor their own ridiculous hours. I went up during store hours to be told they werent open. The item that needed scanned and shipped needed to be done on that specific day. Unprofessional, and ludicrous.

This is the worst ups center.They constantly deliver my packages to the wrong address which is the church down the road from me.I have called customer service several times and was told a Johnstown supervisor would contact me and never did.I have lived here more than 20 years. Fed Ex never had a problem delivering to my address.
Fast and good customer service. Were able to print my return label for amazon. Have an outside dropbox for smaller items. Hours open are kind of short only 3 to 6m i think.

The worst lately for delivering packages. Last fall I had a package that said was delivered, I ended up getting the neighbors package across the street and they got mine, pay attention drivers..I have a note on my mailbox in front of the front door to leave ALL packages inside the door, it never happens with UPS. All other carriers have no problem. We had a bad storm with rain and bad winds the other day with a delivery, left outside getting soaked, luckily I caught it early. Today same thing bad winds and light package do not go, instead it says delivered at 3:38 and I checked once outside and nothing at 5:30, I walk outside by the driveway and it was laying in my neighbors yard. THE WORST, all they have to do is open a screen door and pop it in, get some competent drivers..
Worst experience trying to get my package ever. Was told item would be held at warehouse for pickup at 8pm. Went there and they put in truck and would not give my 1500$ swing arm to me. Caused me to miss an event. Will never ship ups again!
Its convenient to be able to drop off packages for shipment. The person I spoke with was very pleasant. However It was a bit disturbing to be able to watch the person sorting packages and just throwing them around wickedly. Makes sense why a lot of the UPS packages I receive are beat up.☹

I have a package that was due to be delivered 12/7, but had inadvertently put the wrong house number on the order form. Understandably the package was not delivered on 12/7. The number was corrected and the package was set to be delivered 12/8. I called customer service the morning of 12/8 to confirm this and was told that yes, the package was physically on the truck on its way to my location with the correct house number. Business hours came and went with no delivery. Called back 12/9 to find out what happened and was told the driver had too many packages to deliver, so they just didnt deliver all of them. So now my expensive package is sitting on a truck and might be delivered tomorrow. What kind of customer service is that? Why load the truck with more packages than the driver is willing to deliver? And why is it ok for them to just not deliver the packages their assigned to deliver for that day?
They always seem to preoccupied to be friendly.

UPS said they attempted to deliver my package at a certain time at and said no one was home.... Thats funny because I was standing in my driveway literally on numerous occasions they said they attempted to delivered but never even came!!!! How can you say you attempted a package when you never even show up at someones home??? Thats wrong and disrespectful I pay for the shipping not UPS!!!! I should get my package when said not being told attempted and no one was home. Drivers if you dont want to deliver than quit your job and stop lying!!! I cant believe that the drivers can get away with this!!! They never ever attempted anything at all!!! THIS IS WHY I LOVE USPS I know for sure Id get my packages when said so!!!! A small unappealing lobby but very friendly service. The hours are limited so check before you decide to have them hold something or to take them a package for delivery.There were more than half a dozen of us waiting for service while I was there, so this isnt necessarily going to be quick stop either.
Man behind the counter was pushy on getting us out for others. I had questions about shipping he didnt care to answer. Rather rude. My time should be worth the same as the next and I was only there for about 7 min or so.
If I could give a ZERO- I would.Had an Amazon return but since no UPS store in Johnstown, I thought the actual UPS ‘customer service’ center could help... wrong!Instead I was scolded by the ‘customer service’ employee to ‘read the instructions!’ As if I didn’t- UPS, you can do better, no one deserves to be spoken to the way I was spoken to today.

Never even let me know I had packages. Put them under my deck instead of walking 20 steps to put on my porch! Not the first time. My mothers day gift. Was damaged. Box and plant looked like an ape threw it. Shame on them.
Waited Monday for medical device to be delivered! It arrived today! I said to driver we waited for this yesterday (he said) you must not of been home ( he was short with answer) I wasnt working! Whoever was working Monday did not come to our front door we were watching & our dog didnt bark! The box was half open. We needed the medical device yesterday!
Never had any major problems with UPS. Normally deliver whatever to porch. On occasions with high value items requiring a signature, Ill miss the driver, but will leave a tag he was there. Next day I just hang around and wait for packages. Im pleased with the service. Occasionally something comes thru smashed, but given the amount of t Hi HS that go thru ups, a few busted items are to be expected.Thanks for the good service.

Either the driver or company policy on delivery makes no sense all of a sudden. Our driveway is 125 yards long. All of our deliveries in the past have been made to the front porch. At one time a year or so ago, one of the drivers informed us that company policy changed and the drivers were no longer permitted to drive their truck up our driveway and that the trucks were equipped with a GPS, so the company would know if they delivered to our doorway. Sounded like crap to us. Anyhow, every package has been delivered to our door since then, except for today. We passed the UPS truck on our way home and tracking said our order had been delivered, but we could not find it anywhere. Our driveway is level and a straight shot to the house. We looked every possible place around the outside the house that the package could have been placed. Down at the end of the driveway by the road, we have an old VW car parked off to the side of the driveway waiting to be towed away. You guessed it! The driver never came to the house, but stopped at the end of the driveway, saw the old junked car and placed our order behind the back end of the car where no one would look. Who delivers a package to the back end of a junked car 125 yards from the house? We are lucky our grandson walked back down the driveway to the mailbox and glanced off to the side. What kind of company does this half-assed kind of delivery? What kind of driver cant take a couple of minutes to properly deliver a package? All the drivers we have talked to in the past have been very friendly, brought the package to the door with a smile. You know--like they actually liked what they were doing! If you dont want to do the job properly, kindly quit. Is this the new UPS policy?
Terrible service, website doesnt work, cant sign up to sign early for packages, they left a slip to sign on the door yesterday. Signed it when i got home and stuck it to the door ro release package today low and behold i get the email that they missed me again even though i left the signed slip exactly where they placed it yesterday. Ups youre worthless.
Too many times they have said they missed me and I was home all day. Didnt knock, didnt ring a doorbell... Left packages that were clearly electronic equipment on the porch in the rain so that when I pick up the box a flood of water gushes out... Their customer service is non existent and blames you for their employees incompetence.

I think I was supposed to print my own label and leave my package at the unattended counter, hoping that a staff member might show up to take it before someone wanders in and snags it off the counter. Which might be okay - but no instructions were posted. It was all the worst a small rural area has to offer.
Waited all day for a package for them to leave the slip on my back door. Then I call and Doug tell me it’s gonna be redelievered the same day and it never came. Now day 2 back around it’s 2 hours after the delivery time from yesterday. Still no package.
They close @ 6:30 but stop receiving drop off @ 6 pm. They guy at the desk was very rude and told me leave the package on the floor if it has the shipping sticker.

Was said to be attempted to deliver aug10th but wasnt i was home door opened.... Its the 13th door opened and seen them pull up and leave as well... Called that a attempt 🤔 .... Now I gotta go pick it up from UPS myself.
My packages have not been delivered on time for days now...through the tracking process online, it states delay occurred due to bad weather. Um, Johnstown is not having any bad weather! Come on UPS! I have called, but get no where with customer service! Highly disappointed!
Just moved here a week ago, have had two boxes delivered. both were open and battered. it’s like they are trying to be terrible
I have a good customer experience here however the hours are seemingly random and not very accommodating. Also of note, they dont have a lot of boxes at this location for you to use so best to prepare your item outside of this service center.
They are open until 6 PM. Online via Google it said 6:30 PM. My bad for not calling to make sure. Regardless, when they are open I am in and out without waiting typically.
Numerous packages I was supposed to receive via UPS on a certain day were dropped off by the UPS driver at the post office and not delivered until a day or two later. Today I am to receive a package and when I went online to check the status, and it said delayed. When I called the 800 number, the lady I spoke to told me my package is stuck in Johnstown, delayed due to severe weather - I live in Stoystown, only 20 minutes from Johnstown, my weather reports come from Johnstown, and there is no severe weather to speak of. I told the person on the phone this and she told me there definitely are storms in Johnstown - shes not even in this state, Im calling from near Johnstown, I think Id know better than her whether or not it is storming in Johnstown. This kind of service from UPS is why when I have to send something out I only use USPS or FedEx.

In this day and age being closed on Saturday means your losing customers !! Me for one !! I will be sure to check how my packages are being shipped and if I have no choice I will buy somewhere else !!My package is sitting in the building down the street for 2 days and I want it NOW !!
