Made an appointment to donate today after work in bad weather. 1 car in the parking lot. Once inside the outer doors, you’re greeted by several buttons depending on what service you need, along with a hand scrawled note that if none of them work to call a number on the phone and additional buttons. None of these things gained me entry to donate. It’s flu season and I repeatedly touched multiple surfaces that I’m sure countless others have as well. Oh, and your hand sanitizer dispenser is empty. Won’t be back.
Everyone here is so nice. They absolutely appreciate your donation. They make you feel important, not like just another donor. These people really care.
Very friendly staff. I had to deliver some blood all the way from the Richmond ARC at a moments notice. I arrived slightly confused being my first time, but all the staff were very helpful despite the intimidating signage displayed for visitors. They showed me around and made sure everything was taken care of immediately, no questions asked!
Great staff, good way to relax for a couple of hours while helping a patient.
It is a great place to go to help others, and to get help. Plus, the staff are great.
Pleasant staff but reaching anyone by phone is literally impossible.
It is very easy to donate. More people should do it.
Good clean place with nice staff
Apheresis Dept, top notch service
If you are scheduled to donate platelets, call ahead, as they overbook. They might cancel you without notice and you might go in for nothing.
