He was very professional and respectful, listened to me and explained for my complete understanding and satisfaction. When I talked to Daryl by phone about my concern with sound of water dripping onto the celling after a rainfall, with more rain forecast before my insurance adjustor came to inspect and recommend coverage for roof replacement, he came, went up the roof and applied glue or caulk to all potential sources of water entry at no cost to me! He was willing to, and did come to my home to go up the roof with my insurance adjuster as he inspected the roof. After the work was completed, Daryl returned to put back up a sensor that was knocked off the roof by the roofers. And most appreciated, Dave was very patient and understanding of an unintended 25 days of delay in my getting checks together to make payment after the work was completed! Dave and his crew were great to work with at RoofSmart! From the inspection through the installation we were very impressed with their service. Roof Smart accurately predicted the exact day they would arrive. I had no idea that they would bring such a large crew that the tear off and installation would only take 4 1/2 hours! Friendly, courteous crew. Owner reviewed work through the morning. They used metal detectors to be sure all the nails were out of lawn/deck. Cleaned up site well. I had a problem with how some metal looked after the job was completed. Owner Dave Carlson immediately sent some one out and made it right! Storm caused hail and wind damage to the house, three car garage, shop and garden shed. Also damage due to not having adequate ventilation in a cathedral ceiling in the house. The cathedral ceiling was done by another builder. Roof Smart are professionals, knowledgeable, they listen and explain what has to be done. Daryl worked with are insurance company and was on the project from start through clean up. Courteous and professional crew. It is not often that the owner comes to the job site, but Dave was there. Much more could be said, we are extremely satisfied. Daryl removed the Cyclones wind vane so we could touch up the paint and said he would come back to reinstall.

We have had great experiences with this company. They are tremendously responsive, cooperative and professional. They did such a good job on our roof project that we referred other family members and neighbors to them. In each case, the home owners were extremely happy with their work including roofing, exterior wood replacement and vinyl siding replacement. In some cases, the work involved casualty damage covered by insurance and they went above and beyond in assisting with the insurance claim and getting the insurer to fully cover the damage incurred. I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

Dave helped us replace the roofs, some siding and gutters at the White Birch Circle Condo Association. We were struggling with 2 leaking roofs and having our insurance company tells us there was no damage. After Dave was hired to repair the first leak, he informed us we had hail damage, took it upon himself to inspect the other roofs on the complex and told us, all the roofs had been damaged by hail. The board explained that the insurance company told us after sending out three different insurance adjusters there was nothing wrong.He and the board did not give up. Dave pointed us in the correct direction to get the insurance company to review the roofs again.We have beautiful roofs while working in a 2 month window to have everything completed. Never thought it was possible to get all the roofs, siding and gutters down in this time frame before the snow or cold would affect this project. His crew was very helpful in cleaning up debris around the complex and worked until dark many nights. Always communicated what they were going to do next and when.He was able to point out vents that were initially put in wrong, no underlayment material between the plywood and previous shingle. He made sure this was corrected. He fought the fight with the insurance company to make sure the roof was put back in the correct way, with a longer life shingle than we had before.If you are looking for someone to do this correctly, then RoofSmart is who you want on your side.
