I gave a 3 star for the reason that not even 40 mins away the brake light came on along with engine lights and have extremely expensive components that should have been fixed b4 the sale but the engine light is so dim that it was probably on b4 I bought the car but no one would have noticed and when i asked about some sort of compensation or possibly parts for the fix I got denied..... although the service of purchasing the car was painless other than a 7 hr drive there and back.... it was rather pleasant and well presented

I was so impressed how easily it was to purchase a 2020 A6. My salesman, Daniel, sent me a video of the car and I bought over the phone.I was in a bad car accident in another 2020 A6 which I only had 4 months. I was very upset over this whole situation and was on a search for the exact same car. My wife and I have not been to Audi of Des Moines in a while as we own Volvos and recently bought an Audi A3 that is certified so for service it goes to Audi. This was the first scheduled oil change and other check up service needed at the dealer. I could not be more impressed with the service there. Volvo and BMW don’t come close. They actually made a video showing the status of the vehicle and explain what they did-WOW, talk about transparency. Bryan Adams was great, he researched our VIN and found the they vehicle had Audi care. The whole process was seamless. Other dealers could really learn from these guys. It really makes me think differently next time I buy a car. Thanks

Horrific customer service. This place will only sell to you if it suits them. Must buy on their time frame. All about satisfying numbers, no customer service whatsoever. Gave up an entire day trying to buy a car as an out of town buyer. Didn’t work out that day. That’s ok, they said they’d hold it. Great. In the meantime I sold my car in order to buy the one they had. Same day that I planned to finalize paperwork, they call me at noon and say if I can’t get there that day then they have to show the car, retracting their prior promise to deliver the car to me. I live three hours away. They chose satisfying numbers over customer service. I guess that’s one way of doing business. Wish I’d gotten the car but glad I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.Stay far away from this place if you want a pleasant car buying experience.

I brought my Audi Q5 TDI in for an oil change and top off the add blue. It cost $170, about double what others charge. They had my car for 4 days because the low oil level sensor would not shut off. Their technicians didnt know how to read a dipstick and simply did not put enough oil in my car. Its these types of things which shows you what a company is all about, if they cannot do the simple mundane done a million times over things to minimal standards, complicated things could be an absolute nightmare. I am glad I found out about them before I truly needed something important fixed. Overpriced and not even an our bad, sorry with mistakes.

Drove to Johnston which was about an hour and a half drive, then 10 minutes before I arrive I get a text from her saying “would you be able to come in Monday instead? The car is currently being taken to service for dent and touch ups?” When I made a counter offer on the car it was ignored. Terrible communication, and planning on their part.

We found a Highlander on Facebook and contacted the dealership through the online chat late on a Sunday evening. I know these are bots so I wasnt sure how things would go. The car hadnt even hit the use lot yet, but they are selling fast so we wanted to get on it. Elvis called us first thing on Monday morning, and wet up an appointment for the afternoon. Had the car all cleaned and ready to go for is when we got there with great communication the whole way. The estimated payments the gave us were all on the high side, so when the credit report came back and we say down to sign the paperwork, our payments were Lower than we expected! We had to have a a part replaced, and the dents popped out. Elvis lined it all up and took care of everything for us even though it was his day off. Good customer service, we would definitely recommend checking them out.

Although I am satisfied with the Audi I picked and am currently driving, it now has been almost 2 months and they still have not paid the loan off for the car I traded in. I have called over 3 times with my concerns, requesting a call back and contacted sales people. So if you’d like to pay 2 car payments a month until they decide you’re worth their time then go here.It seems once you sign on the dotted line they do not care about service standards.

I would never buy another used car from this lot. I spent 15k on a car that was as is. Added another 3k for warranty coverage since car was as is. I asked the dealership to clean the inside of the car better as a sticker on the car said it was detailed. It was disgustingly dirty. Used floss pics, water bottles under the seat, dirty car in general. I pushed back twice to get clean. Finally just took it as is and cleaned it myself. On the 2nd day, I noticed a noise when turning the wheel. Took it back to Audi on day 5 and it cost me 500$+ for steering shaft that was not covered by warranty. Hadn’t even made a payment on this vehicle. Fast forward to having the car 11 months… took it in to get my 2nd oil change since owning it and advised my mechanic to check fluids. As I was noticing some fluids in my driveway. Not a big deal bc I had the air on, it’s May in Iowa. No biggie I thought. Come to find out, I had not one but two cracked head gaskets. Thankfully I had bought the warranty. As they were gonna cover the part. I still don’t have my vehicle- it’s been 32 days since I took it in- NOT TO AUDI- and now warranty company is not wanting to pay for all the work needed, and only offered me 5 days of rental. Im not sure if they knew the gaskets were cracked or not, but if they would have given the car a full inspection they probably would NOT have accepted it as a trade in. I just feel that this car lot could care less about their customers and more about the money. Per usual.Dirty & broken car, high priced, AS-IS bologna!! I will never shop at this car lot again.

We made a trip across the state to test drive an Audi versus a competitor in the same day, and potentially buy if the conditions were right. Elvis was expecting us as I had emailed the dealership two days prior. He answered all of our questions and showed us many features we had not been shown before. He respected that we were test driving another vehicle at another dealership. He did not share his opinion about the competition- rather he thanked us for coming in and hoped to see us again soon.We were back within a couple hours and ready to buy. We felt as comfortable as can be expected when negotiating price with Elvis. He stood his ground trying to get the right price for the dealership, but we did not feel bullied.After Alex closed the deal, Elvis was waiting to once again show us all of the awesome features our Audi has to offer. He followed up with a phone call a few days later to answer any questions we may have.My only complaint would be with financing. The dealership told me I got better financing through them, but I really had to press for the details. It would have been nice to have a piece of paper, prior to signing, that explained every cost, overall total, percentage rate and monthly payment. I felt uncomfortable signing just based on verbal amounts.Overall, it was a good experience- definitely the best experience weve had at a dealership. Thanks Elvis!

My wife and I just drove 2 and a half hours to look at a 2013 xc90 that was suppose to be in great condition. Under further inspection of the vehicle it was far from great condition, just to mention a few things the tires were about worn out the seats in the front were in pretty rough shape. Once I plug my professional diagnostic tool into it we found out that all of the body control modules (these control everything from the Windows to the airbags) all had faults. That was just the beginning a/c,engine,radio and a bunch of others. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS DEAL OF JUNK AGAIN!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE OF THESE SHISTERS

This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and I am out of state. I saw the Audi S4 online and I sent an email to them and Elvis Felic was the salesman that responded to me. The sales folks are fine, but parts counter is disappointing. I called ahead and asked them to hold a part for me, as there was only 1 in stock. The person I dealt with was rude but ultimately said hed hold it for me after obtaining my name and phone number. I arrived to pick it up and had to wait 10 minutes to even be helped. Finally, I told them my name and that a part was being held for me. More waiting. They come back and unempathetically inform me that it was accidentally sold earlier that day, and that theyll have to order the part in. Itll arrive in 4 days. Frustrating waste of time and easily avoidable delay.

Disappointed in this place. Tried to make a deal on a used BMW, management refused to budge and would rather sit on it. Ended up purchasing with BMW of Des Moines and I’m glad I did. I went down there and I wasnt thrilled on the RS3 that they had on the lot however, Brad showed me a used TTRS that they just got and I fell in love.The worst part of buying a car in my opinion is just the back and forth, the negotiating, the waiting, etc. Then you always have that gut feeling that no matter what, you are being ripped off and you are just another number. I can say that I 100% never had that with Brad. Honestly it was a painless buying experience and Brad never treated me like a number or just another deal for the day.When it came time to sign the papers, Steph was awesome! She was really thorough and explained everything and I never once felt that things were being pushed on me. Plus, her also being into cars was rad! To sit there and have someone to share a passion with during the sale is always a plus! I was truly impressed with this dealership and even their patience with me as I squared some things away in order to get the car back home! I cant recommend them enough and I am bummed I dont have them as a dealer back home. 10/10 would buy from again! Thank you Brad and Steph for being such an awesome team.TL:DR : Brad and Steph are kickass and you should definitely use Brad for any new car you are looking to buy from here!

These guys were great. I was an out of state buyer and they were very responsive to my questions. It was especially helpful because I could not see the car before I bought it. The car was delivered on time and everything is exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend buying a car from these guys, even if you are out of state.

Horrible service department. Okd a diagnosis and fix for radio and screen with a $2500 amp. Wife picked up car and they stated the radio didnt work after telling me on phone the car was ready. Another $1800 to fix radio. John Meyers, Fixed Op. Mgr. called me after my wife said to him that was unacceptable. He argued and was so rude for nearly 10 minutes on phone and then offered a used part and free labor to get radio working. Had an issue with them 2 years ago. First time shame on them, second time on me.

Every single time I had interaction with the service department I left feeling disappointed. Always took longer, cost more, required multiple trips and phone calls, and they frequently provided lame excuses and falsehoods. Just sold my A6 that I really enjoyed just so I wouldnt have the dread of having to deal with them. Rotten from the top down, not just isolated individuals.
