Rude and just don’t care about losing customers. Will nickel and dime you for every little tiny thing and overcharge.I Drive out of my way to another store just for better customer service as That’s a rare thing nowadays.

Went there today July 3rd online says theyre open but nope door locked, no one inside. Even on their door it says will be closed the 4th and 5th only.

This store does not open at 8AM as they have posted on their site, Google, and the sign on the door. Several customers came and left. I left at 8:20. Still closed.

I did not realize this location closed at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Arriving at 3:03 p.m.on a Saturday and finding the doors locked and a sign stating the hours was disappointing, but it was my fault for not checking ahead. As I was walking back to my car, called out to me and offered his assistance. I gladly accepted! Excellent customer service in my opinion.

Ive used this store for some time but had a bad experience there yesterday. The worker was surly before wed exchanged a word - grunted to put the package on the scale and step behind the plexiglass (I was wearing a mask - she was not).Then wanted to charge me over $100 to mail a package to Texas. When I asked if there were any less expensive alternatives, she just shrugged.I left with my package and went to Goin Postal. They very cheerfully mailed my package for $48.Fascinating how one rude encounter can cancel out the good transactions Ive had in the past at this UPS Store.

I stopped in the store to ship a package to Campbell California. The attendant that I was dealing with in person told me the address keeps changing to San Jose in your system. I said that’s not correct at Campbell she told me that what we can do is try sending the package and if it doesn’t work it will be returned. That’s exactly what happened we tried sending the package the package was returned. I received a phone call saying that they need a new address to update because it was returned. The lady I just spoke on the phone with at the Johnson store said I would have to pay again for it to be shipped even though I was told the first time that it would be reshipped out at no charge. And then proceeded to tell me that she didn’t have time to deal with me because she had customers in the store and hung up on me. I am out raged and angry and I refuse to pay for this. I work in customer service and this was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I will never be using UPS again.

We usually have great experience at this location but today they closed a few minutes before closing time of 3. We had raced to get there and made it a few minutes before 3, but they were closed. Frustrating

Horrible customer service from this location. I would recommend using any other UPS store that you can find in the Des Moines area. I regularly ship using this store. I went in and asked for an overnight air envelope, as I had run out. The clerk, who has the people skills of a petulant child, told me that I had to order them online through my account. I informed him that I had, but that they would not come until the following week. Mind you that these envelopes are free for all customers, and also for the store. He said he could not help me. As of today, i will never ship or use services from the Johnston location. Stay away, as this store employs jerks.On a side note, the people in the Urbandale location on 100th St were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Helpful bunch! We drop off our sealed or unsealed packages and they take care of it. Theyll even mail your regular mail for you. Good service!

Its a franchise so dont go in this store if you have a business account. Apparently UPS doesnt take care of their franchises very well.

Said my printed labels were too light and wouldnt scan. Also said they couldnt reprint labels based on the tracking information and could not help me ship my packages without going home to reprint them first. Waste of time and no help at all.
