Chris arrived to tow my car to a service facility, but since the hood was up he asked to check the battery. So glad he did because we were able to get the car restarted and I drove straight to the auto supply and got a new battery. Chris saved me the time and expense of a service visit. I needed to return a riding mower I recently purchased back to Lowe’s in Jonesborough. I called and spoke with Richard who was very kind and understanding and worked with me to arrange the transport of the riding mower. Nick the tow truck driver showed up and was very pleasant patient and courteous. The transport went off without a hitch and the service was absolutely phenomenal. I will definitely use and recommend them to anyone in the future!

A couple of weeks ago my in-laws from out of state busted a tire on Roan St. in Johnson City. I called Browns Mill and talked to Rick. We waited like 2 minutes and here comes a tow truck with Rick in it. He came to my window to let me know he was just up the road and thought he would come and get his lights on us so that cars coming over the hill would see us and not cause a wreck. Within 10 minutes the flatbed that was needed for the tow was there and had us out of there within minutes. These guys would be the ones to call again for sure!! Also, it was a Sunday night and you would think they would charge double but they did not. Very impressed! Thank you for your kindness, thoughtfulness and professionalism!

I was at a car wash and was vacuuming my car. When I got in my car wouldn’t start. All of the lights came on and the electronics worked. I called AAA but wasn’t sure exactly what was wrong. AAA decided a tow truck would be the best option. Brown’s Mill Towing was the company. They were prompt, friendly and very helpful. It turned out to be my battery so Jimmy jumped started my car and I was off. I’d definitely use them again if needed.

Excellent service. Called because my vehicle wouldn’t start and I needed to get to an appointment at the repair shop. They said they’d be there within the hour and boy were they! It’s nice to find a tow company that’ll be there when they say. I believe Tex was the driver and he was very friendly and got me there in a timely and safe manner.

Went to Johnson City to look at Dodge trucks and backed over a curb in my mustang and got stuck with wheel off pavement. Found Browns Towing on my phone via google. Took him about 20 min to show up. Took my car out of the jam in about 10 minutes. Priced me very reasonable. Thank you John Hood for the big help. Yes-I asked him for his name so I could thank him again! One more note: they accept AAA which I dont have but filled out a receipt to turn into my insurance to see if they will reimburse me. My former insurance used to. Thanks again!UPDATE: Found out my insurance will reimburse me up to $50 which is great! Thanks again! Was not sure if I had the Emergency Roadside service coverage.

Towing:Anytime Ive ever needed a tow Ive used Browns Mill Towing. No complaints. Drivers are friendly and arrive within a reasonable, 5 to 10 minute period of when they are due everytime.Repair:Ive only had my vehicle repaired here once, car was left a wreck from the repairs themselves on the interior and the car died the very next day from getting it back which says to me they did the repairs knowing it was going to die soon which is a dissapointment; however this is a business that fixes cars you ask them to, not a service that helps diagnose, ascertain, or decide whether a car is worth repairing so I cant hold that against them too much. Id say maybe I just had a rare situation but this is my only experience to base an opinion on and unfortunately it was not satisfactory in this regard.

Was a great experience. Response was in mins. Went above and beyond! That is real 5 star experience.My shift cable broke. The driver while unloading my suv stopped in middle unload and lift it higher and supported it so we could crawl under it and he pointed out what happened and where. As well as givening me history on chevy shift cable breakages overall from his towing experience.Would recommend and will use again.

My car broke down in the middle of the night in Johnson City on my way to Rogersville. I had to leave my car locked up in the parking lot - almost an hour away from home.I called Browns Mill Towing and told them my situation, explained that I had the key and no way to get it to them. They were able to retrieve my car without damaging it, and take it to their shop.Rich was AWESOME! After looking at my car, he went out of his way to help me evaluate the cost and process of either repairing it in Johnson City or towing it home and repairing it locally.He was in constant contact with me, suggesting things that might help me save money.We decided to tow it home and it was delivered the next day as promised, IN SPITE of GPS sending the poor rollback driver down a narrow, barely one lane backroad so curvy and washed out that those who live there have issues passing in their own vehicles and some cars cant pass at all.The driver was extremely nice and polite. Also, he was good at his job. We have a steep, narrow gravel driveway with lawn timbers lining it and a sharp 90 degree turn.There are mid-size sedans and pick-up trucks that have problems maneuvering our driveway and he never made a wrong move.I cant say one bad thing about these people. I had my car back home in less than 18 hours from the time it broke down.If I am ever in that situation again, I will definitely call Rich & the guys at Browns Mill Towing.I know they will take care of my car and will be straight up and helpful about the cost. Cant thank them enough for helping me when I really needed it!

So, its a usually a fairly stressful event when you find yourself in need of a towing service. However, Browns Mill made the experience a lot less stressful for myself and my step daughter who hydroplaned off the road this afternoon. A fairly expedient response and extremely professional service was given from our driver who not only removed her car from a muddy ditch but helped do what was necessary to get the thing into drivable condition.
