OTR has serviced my internet needs for. Awhile now. I havent had any issues with their internet. I recently have gotten access to a faster connection. John Vincent helped me with my cancellation and it went off without a hitch on the chat. As long as everything cancels out like it should I will leave them a 5 star review. First of all, I’ve been less than satisfied with the service from OTR. It’s spotty at best and often not functional. I’ve spent A LOT of time reaching out to chat with someone for help. Today I spoke with John. Our chat session lasted nearly 3 hours. I’m tired but so grateful for his time and desire to help me with my service. He’s clearly very patient and I am truly grateful for his time. He’s truly a gem! Now, if we could just do something about my wifi.

It cost me $137 and about 2 days of time to try this device that never worked. I was told I had coverage in my area and then did not. The 15 day free trial charges you even if the device never provided any coverage. I live in a rural area where there is not good cell service and internet service is only satellite. I was really hoping this could provide a good solution, but it did not. I returned the device after having it in my possession for 5 days. It never provided any coverage. I spent a lot of time trying to troubleshoot with them. They never provided a reason as to why it didnt work, promised to call me back and then did not. Then, charged me $137 and would not refund that money despite me making a complaint about it. I guess they make their money by telling people they have coverage and then hitting you with the $137 when you do not. Really awful experience.

I’ve had OTR mobile for upwards of 2+ years now, service is always great! Whenever my account gets in a bind their support is always quick to answer! I’ve had Team member John help me multiple times this year and he has been the best of taking care of the problems that arise! As for the internet service I’ve have no complaints always good signal where I go. Thanks for everything!
Paid for the PINK plan and when I received my SIM card, the instructions stated to call customer support because of my device. This whole process took several days with talking, chatting, and emailing several different people. Everyone I spoke with gave me different instructions for device setup and none of them worked. How can you give me different setup options with different people? Then they stated that my card had to have a static line put on and then I waited for that, they said that would fix it. Wrong. Then customer service said they would send me a new card, but I asked could they give me two day shipping because that is what I paid for with my other card. Nope. So here we are and still not having a SIM card. I paid over $190 dollars for a service that they could not provide and now I have to wait for approval from their Tier 3 to see about a refund. Wow.

Katrina was VERY helpful with assisting me in how to make the APN adjustment and activate our new SIM card today. It was over an hour between Live chat mode, sharing pictures and steps in How to...We liked the unlimited data plan and not really sure why its now limited to 200GB, which resulted in no service for 4 days while waiting for new SIM card, but will give OTR longer to see how the new mandated plan works for our needs. Since we live rurally and no other option than this or satellite- OTR speeds and service is definitely better than satellite!!
I was having trouble with my OTR Mobil device and I contacted their customer service. I was connected to “Chiara” she was very professional and spent all the time I needed to resolve my issues. I so appreciate all her patience and understanding as I am not very computer literate.

I always have had great broadband service through OTR mobile. The only reason I am changing is new access to fiber optic high-speed internet through my electric company, at a lower cost.For technical support through live chat, John Vincent has always been very helpful, and always quickly found a solution for my problem.The only negative feedback I have for OTR mobile is the ever- increasing cost of their broadband service.

ChiaraShe was excellent. I am upset that OTR changed my service to AT&T on 4/20. AT&T does not work well in my location and we have been on T-Mobile since January 13. It is aggravating that I cannot have active service for a couple of more business days due to an error on OTR. I went through this back in January and thought everything was resolved. I have been without service for almost 3 weeks give or take. I hope you are able to process an account credit. I would love to speak with somebody in management As this type of service is not acceptable. With the price this has gone up to it’s almost cheaper for me to add another phone to my service plan and use that Sim card for the service.

Over the past few days I have spent several hours working with Gae from OTR mobile. While she was not able to resolve my issue through no fault of her own, she was professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
I have been using OTR Mobile for home internet for several years. First, I used OTR as a backup to a local wireless provider, but the service was so much better they eventually became my primary home internet.I live right on the outer edge of cell coverage, and have not had luck with normal consumer hotspots, like those provided by the the cellular carriers for their own home internet solutions. The OTR BYOD plans have worked well for me, enabling use of high gain outdoor dish modems and modems with antenna inputs that can be connected to external antennas.OTR is constantly dealing with changes pushed on them from the carriers, so I end up contacting them more than I would like for plan changes or service outages. I have always had friendly and competent service - they are *so* much better than dealing with the carriers directly.

OTR is becoming more of a headache than it’s worth. My rates have increased by almost 50% and my service is 200% worse. At a time when customers should mean more than anything I have been consistently treated worse and worse. I always pay my bill on time without fail but the service OTR provides cannot be considered as reliable. As OTR has clearly grown, they have quickly forgotten what made them grow! I began with OTR when they operated out of the back of another business and providing reliable service at a reasonable rate was their focus. That is unfortunately no longer the case. I had always recommended them to everyone that I knew, but unfortunately that isn’t possible anymore.UPDATE: Within a few hours of posting a negative review, I did receive a call offering to allow me to pick up a new SIM card the next day so that I would not have to wait another week for service. I did pick up the new SIM card and it worked and restored my service. I am still disappointed in having to go through this every few months and continual rate increases but I do appreciate that someone was willing to reach out and try to restore my service afterwards. Do to this effort I am editing my review and changing from 1 star to 3
OTR has been somewhat of a rollercoaster for me. When I have the blue plan (AT&T) everything is great, however, twice in the past year, they have attempted to automatically switch me to the PINK plan, or T-Mobile. There are no towers close to me therefore the service is basically unusable. I got on their chat today and Flory was able to help me out. I will say they have some really good customer service/tech support people, and Flory is right there at the top. He made the experience painless as possible, was very informative, and kept me apprised of everything that was going on. He was extremely polite and definitely on top of his game. The jury is still out on OTR, but Flory is definitely a keeper.
I did run into some issues with my account, but Gerard in Customer Service was extremely helpful in getting this resolved.He stayed with me for much longer than most CSRs would have and he managed to find a suitable solution for me.

Customer service is absolutely horrible! Our bill was paid, the very next morning it quit working and they couldn’t figure out how to get it working. They wouldn’t even refunded for the month even though we had no service! If I could give them 0 starts I would.
Website has some issues if youre independent, but most of theer CSRs are great and get the job done some better than others. All in all, the best Internet over Cellphone you can get.

Diether is amazing. My favorite support person! I actually hope to see his name pop up when I have to get on the support chat. He is nice, answers all questions, and most of all he never says he doesnt know, because he will find an answer to any question I throw his way. I wish I had employees like him on my staff every time I have to chat with support and get him. He deserves a raise, or some kind of recognition for the amazing job he does!

Super pricey mobile internet. Used to be amazing (good speeds at a reasonable cost), but costs have skyrocketed during the C-19 epidemic, speeds decreased, and data caps enforced. The high prices are the worst part, but are not the fault of OTR Mobile, but of the cellular service providers who are gouging the public during these touch times. OTR Mobile support is available only via chat, but has been great. JohnVincent was my most recent helpful contact.

If I could select 0 stars... I would. Horrible service. Horrible customer service. Yes, they mean well but I am sorry for the inconvenience doesnt solve much! Spent tons of money on devices and not refunded full amounts when didnt work. When service was down for more than 10 weeks, only refunded partial cost. Better off with no service than this service.
