They are a little pricey, but it is worth it for the cleanliness and all that they offer. I go for the pool, and they have indoor, outdoor, therapy, and jacuzzi. I like that they offer childcare at certain times too because that has made the difference in being able to do a workout or not sometimes for me.

Sauna uses a radiator heater microwaves the skin. Very high EMFPool is short mostly pushing off the wall and drifting through someone elses hair.Month to month contract must be terminated by physical signature at the health club, they will charge and take to collections, even if you did not physically use or pay for their services.

Love the facilities here. The staff is very knowledgeable. There is no intimidation here. I will be getting a membership here.

Im different, but they allow me to be myself. Ever since coming up with CrossFit I love to challenge my ideas, I get to that at the Wellness Center. Great Staff and Trainers, because I watch them teach others. Love the atmosphere. Cycling class in the morning.

We did swim lessons here and all the staff including our swim instructor, David, were super friendly! David worked incredibly well with my autistic son. And everyone was super helpful, like for example when we forgot a towel they provided us with one.

The employees are really rude and unprofessional. I will avoid this place at all costs..... The medical/urinalysis side anyways.The guy that collects the urine seems to be very upset with his career choice. He is rude and hateful. We get it, you catch urine in a cup all day. But that is your choice, not ours. And the medical staff there are all very high strung and hateful. They dont seem to have much medical knowledge either, so they make up for it with bad attitude and soft skin. Not to mention, they arent very good at being honest. Its almost like whatever will make for the best drama, thats what they go with. Like the redhead there is telling people that there is a national mask shortage. She also doesnt. Seem to understand that it can be easy to misunderstand what is being said with a mask on. Just my personal opinion, but they need an entire staff replacement.

I went to the wellness center as part of physical therapy needed prior to a knee replacement. I had such a great experience in the gym and with the staff I decided to get a membership when I was healed enough to join. I have not regretted it!

Nice facility.Pools were a little dirty.A little expensive for a visitors fee.

I have enjoyed working out here, but I decided not to renew with how crowded its been.. the last 2 times I went, it was so packed that I couldnt finish my workout. Other than that, its super clean and has a good variety of equipment/amenities!

It was Med Tech. Not The Wellness Center. If it werent showing this it would be 1 star. Waited an hour and a half to pee in a cup. 1 other person there. You tell me Ballad. Be lucky they dont go lower than 1 star.

This gym is nice, however I am a disabled veteran with PTSD and I have a medical waiver for COVID masks. This gym threatened to freeze my account because I couldn’t wear a mask. Even though you are only required to wear a mask for the first 20 feet inside the door. I guess there is a magical invisible wall that protects you after that. Anyway, this gym officially discriminated against disabled veterans with their liberal logic. I cancelled my membership and will be going somewhere else. I do not recommend this gym at all.

Was only there long enough to get some info about joining & what facilities, i.e., pools, sauna, whirlpool, etc. are available for use by handicapable people such as myself. Also, got a quick glimpse at the weight & cycling machines they have. The man at the front desk was most helpful & answered my questions.

Anyone working for Ballad and thinking of applying for a membership:My husband stopped working for Ballad 2 1/2 months ago and went to a different company. The membership fee was coming out of his paycheck while he was still working for Ballad and then when he left they charged his card after 2 1/2 months after no longer being employed there. We dont feel comfortable going to the gym during this time of the pandemic and we had no way of being alerted that they were going to be charging his personal card or that the gym was even opening back up. They will not waiver and I would not advise you to EVER put a card on file there with them unless you want to be randomly charged. I used to like The Wellness, but they have shown to be a company you cannot trust.

Love the Wellness Center! Very clean and very friendly staff. I love the fact they have an area for Massage Therapy and I absolutely love my Massage Therapist. Roger Mott is the best Massage Therapist Ive ever had! You will feel so much better when you leave. Ive been going to Massage Therapy since I was 25 years old and Im now 53 and Roger is the best Ive ever been to! Check him out youll love him! Hes there everyday except Tuesdays and Wednesdays!

The staff are great. Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Thats one Drs visit I really dont mind going.

I work out here almost every day. The classes are great and everyone is just so nice. They do a great job with my daughter when I have to drop her off when I work out. Try the power pump, power Pilates, cycle sculpt, heat and body blast. These are all great classes. Plus you can take your kids swimming there.

Been here for 2 years and have had no issues whatsoever. The guys at the front desk have been great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Staff assisted me in spotting and benching at times and provided me a few tips on improving myself when lifting weights. They have an indoor pool, basketball court, and large locker room. You also have access to run outside. You will have a very beautiful view while working out. Its very peaceful and relaxing. More benefits to mention, but didnt want to write a book. See for yourself and sign up!

No problem with facility but trying to cancel the membership is another story. Let’s not forget it is a gym membership. Instead of email or DocuSign you have to fill out paperwork and the account holder has to sign. Not the spouse, they don’t have any authority to cancel a “gym” membership. I can understand if it was court papers, insurance, or financial papers but a gym membership. Ok.?? It is how ever a good way for the gym/hospital to get a few more months of dues out of busy people. That’s customer service and appreciation at its best.

We were members for three months. Im pretty sure Ballad forgot they own this. The reason I say that is because no one at the front desk has ever been properly trained on ANYTHING. Anyone can walk in off the street and workout. Theres really no reason anyone needs to purchase a membership. The only time Ballad notices they own this is when you try to cancel your membership. Thats when you can tell its owned by healthcare. 30-day notice, written, enforced tooth & nail. Its a shame because its a beautiful facility, definitely not worth dealing with Ballad on a gym membership. We originally cancelled because they did not make good on the claim to help us set up swim lessons, which to me, seems like a valid reason to cancel.

So I signed up a about a month ago. I was told someone would contact me (a trainer) no one ever did and when I called and asked no one ever returned my calls. The showers have mold growing in them. Staff never speaks to you when you come in always just talking to each other in the corner. I had to figure out the equipment myself and hope I am doing it right. Free weights are always full too many people in a small space. So unless you want a class or like the machines this is not for you. Every time I have been kids are in the pool . So family swim time isnt a thing its all the time. I have kids but I also understand if they want to swim I would take them to a pool that is set up for kids not an adult lap pool at a gym. So the only reason to stay is the classes. The app they told me to use never works. The website information on classes only works sometimes.

I went here to get both of my Covid19 vaccinations.

One year ago, I thought this gym was the best thing that had ever happened to us. And up intil Covid, it has been. I lost my job because of Covid, like many people in the area. The ethical thing to do would be either letting me out of my contract outright, or maybe just freezing it without a fee for a couple months. But nope. I had to pay nearly $200 today (so much tor groceries I guess). That was my last paycheck. That was my last time of being paid. But if I didnt, you were VERY clear about sending me to collections if it went unpaid. Ya know, we are ALL struggling right now. The least we can do is just be decent to one another. But I guess this has all been too much to ask of a facility where ive been loyal, never missed a payment, have gotten MULTIPLE people to sign up with you all...anyway, im frustrated and thats why im even leaving this review. To those of you thinking of signing a contract, just understand that even a global pandemic will NOT deter this facility from getting their money apparently. You lost a customer for life today.

Good workout equipment, basketball courts, pool, hot tub, and sauna. Wall of windows offers a stunning view while you’re working out. The staff is friendly and they learn your name. Childcare and kids programs were the clincher; they make it possible for our whole family to be there at once, and our kids (4 and 2) look forward to coming. Pricing is reasonable for a facility that offers so much. There’s a positive vibe throughout. We are really enjoying the Wellness Center!

Love it here. Been a member at other gyms but really prefer this one. Very clean. Equipment is not broke down all the time and even when it is busy I can still get my work out in.

This gym has the worst customer service ever. I wanted to drop my membership but was told I would have to come by in person to fill out a cancellation form.I went by and filled out the the form and gave it to Kim. She told me that was all I had to do. Then later on the same evening she called my husband and said he would have to come by and sign the form because he was the primary person on the account. She told him that if he didnt do it that day, then the account would be charged another month. When I called the gym back to ask why she hadnt told me that to start with, Jacob said, I guess she didnt know.I asked to speak to a manager and Jacob said they were all gone for the day. He said a member coordinator was there and connected me to that person. I got a voice message that said this person couldnt get messages.It was nothing but a big run around.This is not the first time that the staff and customer service has been unsatisfactory. Its one reason I chose to drop the membership.There is a general spirit of arrogance and apathy at this gym. With all the various choices and competitive gyms in our area, the Wellness Center may consider some customer service training for its staff.

My favorite gym in the tri-cities! It is the cleanest & the people I meet are the friendliest. It isn’t cliquey & it feels more inclusive than other gyms. I also love the variety of classes for me & my toddler son! He loves it too!

Long wait, I was in the waiting area over 45 min. for my drug screen for my new job. You already got to go when you get there and they certainly made it uncomfortable. The medical assistant was awesome.

I was a fan of The Wellness Center untill the other day. My fiance had been going for a couple months under there month to month plan. Then I broke my arm. So in an effort to save money she decided to stop going untill i could go back to work. Now the WC can very easily see she hasnt been in 3 MONTHS, but they decided to charge her debit card for the last 3 months ALL AT ONCE for $176. What is the point of having a month to month plan if you are going to be deceptive about it and treat it like its a regular membership you charge more for. Also, when she signed they never once made any mention of having to come cancel or anything like that. Also, that is not generally how month to month memberships work. Then when she called to ask about the charge they were 100% unwilling to work with her!!! That phone call was the first time any mention was made about having to come in and fill out paperwork about having to cancel her month to month membership. This whole debacle has caused us great hardship. All thanks to sketchy Wellness Center business practices. my advice if you still want to join... UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE GIVE THEM A CARD NUMBER TO KEEP ON FILE. I would just recommend Planet Fitness. At least they will work with their customers

If you need to terminate membership, do so in person before the 1st day of the month, otherwise they gig you for the full month membership whether you go or not. They wont do it over the phone. I learned the hard way :)Its a clean facility.I went for the exercise classes. I find that the evening offerings here are geared toward a more advanced exerciser; at 55 I am just not up to them. The instructors are excellent.

FIND ANOTHER GYM. Been going there for years and sending countless people there for years. Was just treated like garbage and called a liar, while also insulting his entire staff by the sales manager Ron. Ive never seen this man before today but Im beyond shocked they allow this man to be involved in this place. Ive been going there for 4 times as long as hes worked there. Again, find another gym. There are far too many that actually care about people. Everyone there is usually so nice, but this man single handedly ruins their image. If Rons manager reads this, whatever he tells you to make you think he was in the right, he is bold face lying to you.

They dont want to let you cancel your membership. I moved out of state and forgot to cancel. I called to cancel the membership and they told me I will either have to come back or send a certified letter. We live in a digital age, why in the world cant an email be sent requesting to cancel the membership? I can cancel my credit card easier than I can cancel a gym membership?!? Insane! Now, Ill have to take time off of work so I can send a certified letter.

I liked going to the WC for over a year but what I didnt like was when I canceled they tried to bill my credit card for 60 days from that date. I was willing to let them charge me for 30 days after I canceled but no more than that.I filed a charge back to my credit card and decided to stand up to their abuse.Beware that some gyms will try to leach your credit card by charging you long after you want to cancel. You dont have to put up with it. I didnt.Id give TWC 4 stars if they didnt try to rip you off 60 days after you wanted to cancel.

The wellness center have good equipment, pools, indoor and out. Many exercise rooms and rehab facilities in an awesome location.

Best gym/excercise venue in the TriCities, hands down. Great amenities; 2x pools, saunas, communal whirlpool, a great connect to walking pathes, on & on & on.The evening staff is INCREDIBLE. Friendly, helpful and just all-around good folks.

Filth store, not attractive at all

Absolutely love this gym. its so big too! they offer a plethora of classes and even offer kids classes which is amazing. lots of equipment you can use and eve on busy days, it doesnt seem overcrowded like most gyms ive been to (golds, 24hr).i also love that they have family changing rooms to use if you go swim. they also offer a daycare and the ladies there are so sweet and patient. my daughter is having a hard time adjusting since she isnt used to being away from me and the ladies are so caring for her. they continue to keep working with her so she can become comfortable and that is just awesome.also this gym is very very clean! love this place

I like most everything about this gym. All of the staff have been friendly to me and the textile flooring in the locker room is much nicer than the usual sloppy wet and filthy locker room floors. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the expense. They do give discounts from time to time, but its still a bit pricey.

Im enjoying it! Its very clean compared to the rest JC has too offer. Staff always seems to making rounds. Some of the members are kinda uppity like they should have servants pick up there towels for them. And when asking to workout in between someones sets on a bench 50% of the time People act like you just kicked thier dog! Need to post signs about free weight protocol so people arent so shocked when asked to share.Other than that! LOVE THIS GYM! Great indoor/outdoor pool. Great Sauna and whirlpool. Nice comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff that always smile and say HI . Its a lil more expensive but you get what you pay for!

Ridiculous initiation fees, and monthlys but worst are the condescending staff members who think they are doing you a favor to workout at their posh athletic club. Wish this town had 24 Hour Fitness or LA Fitness but were stuck with another wallet draining sideline for MSHA! Go to Lifestyle Fitness across the street!
