I would NOT recommend coming here. I made an appointment with Shae Keane 6 weeks out in advanced. Once it got closer to my appointment day she rescheduled. Then on the day of my new appointment day, I’m trying to find the office and all the doors are locked and I didn’t see anyone in sight. I checked every single door. At this moment it’s 10 minutes before my appointment and then, I kid you not, she texts me 3 MINUTES before my appointment to cancel it! She said I didn’t finish filling out my forms but didn’t even mention it when confirming my appointment the day before. Going to therapy is a big step for someone and for this to be my very first experience with therapy is really discouraging and unprofessional. With the doors being locked I’m positive she didn’t even show up to the appointment in the first place. I would not recommend anyone from this company if this is the standards they are performing at.

My child went to The Journey Center about a year ago, and our experience was fine. We are in need of help for him again, and Ive reached out to them twice to ask if they have anyone available to work with him, and if not if they could recommend someone else who would be a good fit for his specific needs. Its been over a month, and Ive gotten no response. Im not sure why anyone in the field of mental health would ignore multiple reasonable requests for help.

Had a bad experience here with JJ Knodel. I recently got set up for a telehealth session with JJ. Was very much looking forward to establishing a therapeutic relationship. After an hour or so of myself opening up about some somewhat embarrassing and traumatic events in my life, Knodel was very careful to collect my payment and insurance information. This seemed fine, until I was informed that basically he could not help me. He said he’d give me the numbers of some other therapists and he wished me luck. I was never told that this was some kind of ‘evaluation.’ Very unprofessional. I give 2 stars because the lady Kim that I spoke to was very sweet.
