This was the second Highlander I have purchased from Johnson City Toyota. I could have chosen a closer dealership, but JCT is great. Great salesman and finance man. Couldnt have asked for better help on finding my new car, but I had mentioned the low tire pressure light was on and I wanted it checked out before I purchased. When I came back the following Monday it had been fixed by service. They only added air without checking why it was leaking.. or maybe they already knew why. The tire was plugged and not well obviously because it was continuing to leak. Within a week Ive had to put air in it twice. Left a message for the manager with no call back, communicated with the salesman and he asked how bad it was and I told him, but havent heard anything back from anyone on that either. I have a toddler so they idea of having to fix a flat with a two year old is not easy nor safe for us. My best advice is check the tires and if any lights are on AVOID. They wont actually fix the problem, just try to get the light to go away.

Somewhat of an unscrupulous experience at this Toyota. Incident happened with Services. Took car in for routine maintenance, to make sure its roadworthy and such. Have always brought it to a Toyota, and decided to try the same after moving to JC. They offer to check the alignment.Heres the catch: Toyota offers a complimentary alignment check. If alignment is good, then there is no cost. However, if alignment is bad, youre charged $139.99. I have no issue with the price of the alignment - its how they get it. If you want the complimentary check, you agree to the tech performing an alignment without informing you if it is needed.So what happens? I agree to the alignment check (my mistake, Ill admit), since it was done recently and they probably wouldnt find a problem anyway. But lo and behold, alignment is off by .16 degrees. And $139.99 is gone.I havent heard of this type of pricing system before. All Toyotas are franchises, so each location does things differently. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a racket. Id rather just drive up to Bristol Toyota and see how they do.

Great experience at Johnson City Toyota. Steven in sales was great to work with. He helped me find exactly the truck I wanted, and he updated me almost daily on the status of the delivery. I made some after-market additions to the truck, and he made sure that was all done before I came in to get the truck. Cant recommend working with him highly enough. Hell treat you right.Adam in service is awesome too. I had an issue with some of the new tires I ordered, and he got everything taken care of for me including a rental car while the new set were being swapped out.Great people over there, and Im very satisfied.

I took my car here because of poor acceleration and intermittent misfire. Diagnostics was $90. They advised to change all coils, plugs, and O2 sensor, in that order. The total would be well over $1000. There is no way all of that would be bad at the same time, so I took the car home. It turned out to be bad O2 sensor, cost me $100. I needed a $20 scanner with live data function, it showed O2 sensor stuck at 0. Replacing the sensor was easy, just needed a set of wrenches. It didnt need any plugs or coils, the mechanic was not truthful about it. There was a disconnect between what was broken and what they wanted to fix.They sold my contact info and I am getting phone calls and spam daily. Its like scorched earth approach, they make as much as they can on your once in a lifetime visit

Sarah was my saleswoman and she was awesome. Very easy to work with and constantly stayed in touch. She answered any questions I had. I had buyers remorse a few days later, but that was totally on me, nothing at all the dealership done. They done everything they could to put me in the car I wanted and I’m so thankful. Just picked up a 2021 RAV4 last week from Johnson City Toyota. I worked with both Nathan and Kristi, and they were excellent to work with. Was able to negotiate and begin the credit approval process online and sort out any questions and the deal via text, so by the time I made it to the dealership for pickup I was in and out within an hour. The only negative experience was having the vehicle be delayed for arrival twice and waiting for nearly a month for pickup, but that was out of their hands as the market right now is crazy. Great experience considering the common perception of the dealership process.

I had been in the market for a Tacoma for awhile and I knew what I wanted. At long last I found the exact Tacoma I wanted in the color i really wanted. I called and inquired about it. I made a appointment for the next day and they stated they would put a hold on it. I made the 3 hour drive the next morning. Come to find out they sold the truck before they actually put a hold on it. I was irritate. Alex the sales women could tell. She directed me to another similar tacoma they had on the lot. They worked with and I ended up with a better truck. You could tell the mistake was not malicious and they were going to do their best to have me drive off the lot happy. They made me feel like I came out of there with a win and I am a proud new owner of Tacoma. Next time my wife or I need a vehicle we will ve making the 3 hour drive to be repeat customers. Very disappointed in the service we received here. We purchased a 2020 4Runner. The salesman told us several times that the owners manual was mailed, but weve never received it and communicated that we havent received anything. We were also told that he would get floor mats for us since the vehicle didnt have any. Ive called two times to speak with a manager, but had to leave a message and was told Id received a call back. We never received a call. We purchased this vehicle 3 months ago and havent heard anything from them. I think we have been patient enough.

Shout out to Ernesto Hernandez for being a great car salesman and for going above and beyond to get me approved for a car. I went into Toyota of Johnson City on 9/4/2020 not really expecting to be approved for a vehicle due to my low credit. I figured I’d need a co-signer at least. I was only there for a few hours, managed to keep my down payment lower than I originally thought, great monthly payment plan, just down right great experience altogether. Never felt pressured and totally surprised when I was approved. I managed to get my daughter her first car that’s basically brand new and I feel better because Toyota has her hooked up.
