This is hands down the best auto repair shop in Johnson City. these guys always take care of you. You get the right job done for the right price and Ive never had an issue with something after they fixed it. They just replaced my broken compressor, after 3+ years of me coming here, and that sweet sweet AC is heavenly. So grateful to come to these guys any time I can. Ill never go anywhere else unless I have an emergency out of town.

Woods automotive has ALWAYS done me right!! Randy, Keith, and the guys are first class! They do quality work, care about what they do, and offer a warranty to top it off. If you are not happy with Woods automotive -- Perhaps it is not possible to make you happy!!!

Ive only used woods one time. However, I will NEVER use them again! I took my truck in to get estimates on a couple of possible repairs and asked them to check on a leak coming from around the water pump as one of the possible repairs to check on. That was quoted to me at the shop as $300.00 plus antifreeze and tax.They said that they would to look at the second leak coming from under the truck in more detail. I asked him to give me a call and let me know what was found. The estimate on the repair coming from under the truck would be $600.00 and six hours of labor plus tax. Wow! I stated. and that I didnt have that much money at this time.While I had him on the phone, I asked to only check out the leak around the pump and call me about what was going.I received a call about two hours later and they said that my truck was ready. AT THE COST OF $604.75.Im a retiree on a fixed income. However, my hearing and my memory must be better than theirs. THEY DID NOT CALL ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THE WATER PUMP. THEY DID NOT CALL ABOUT ALL THE EXTRA ITEMS THEY REPLACED, WITHOUT PERMISSION! AND NO I WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE!

My brakes on a 2004 4Runner needed to be replaced. I was referred to Woods Automotive by another repair facility that didnt have the capability to do the job. They were tremendously friendly, worked with my changing time when I could bring the vehicle in, completed the work quickly and charged a very fair price. While waiting in the shop saw him deal compassionately with a young man who couldnt pay for his repair. Highly recommended.

Woods Automotive has been my go-to place for car repair for the last five years. The folks there are unfailingly kind and polite, and they always call me with estimates before doing an expensive repair. They work hard to save money for the car-owner when its possible. I know my cars are in good hands at Woods Automotive.

This place saved me! 4 days before departing out West, my cars radiator went out which stemmed even more problems. This place took my car in the same day and had it fixed before closing. They were super helpful and kind! They also kept me informed on my vehicle during the entire process. Thank you!

First off who ever the male person was working the counter whether it was a manager or owner needs to check the attitude and temperament. I went in to ask if they would install my parts so that I could keep the parts warranty in my name in case I move and I acknowledge myself that I knew there would be no warranty on the labor. He said ok and that he would, but as he started making time on labor notes I called him out on his figures because I had this work done a few times already in the past ( I guess maybe he was trying to make up for loosing money on the parts I dont know) and he got very upset and angry with me and said he did not want to do the work now.So I express that I was going to share with others on how his actions were with me today and he got furious and walked out to me at my car with a confrontation stance and a statement that we would meet again somewhere and we would finish this another way (Not saying what but you got what was implied).
