Charged me $15 to get links taken off. This service is always free so I clearly was getting scammed. They already had my watch though so I sort of got cornered. I went in looking for a gold bracelet for my boyfriend and they were so hopeful. They asked me enough questions to understand what I wanted and gave me a great selection to choose from. I’m super indecisive and the worker helping us (Shivah? Says Shiv on the receipt) was very helpful, he held the bracelet on his wrist for reference which really helped. After calling about a hundred jewelry stores i knew i had finally called the right place. Not even two minutes into the phone call, the sales associate i was speaking with, had offered to order the charm i was looking for and overnight it so that it would arrive on time for christmas.. She sent me pictures of the item in the catalog, made the phone calls possible to have it overnighted, kept in touch with me and kept me updated. They made it possible for me to give this gift to my mother at the last minute. Out of every store i called i lucked out when i found this store. I’ve been going to diamond hut over the past year and they have been great every time. First I went in to find an engagement ring for my fiancé. We went in together to find a style that we both liked. Based off of what we told him, Shaun helped me find the perfect ring to buy. We agreed on a budget and expectations and he showed me 3 different diamonds to choose from. He thoroughly explained the different diamonds and ultimately went with his suggestion. I stopped by Diamond Hut Jewelers in Jersey City while looking for a gift for my cousins High School graduation in June. While I was completely unsure of where to even begin, I found that the store staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. And to my surprise they were not at all pushy or sales (which is typically my complaint with smaller retail stores)! I was thrilled when Somani brought my attention to a cabinet of beautiful merchandise that also fit my slightly conservative budget. Somani really took her time assisting me in showing numerous pieces (I still feel a little badly for how indecisive I was at first. I wanted to see EVERYTHING). She also highlighted some cool one of a kind product features Diamonds Hut custom jewelry had. My personal favorite were the cute necklaces that can convert into multiple styles (I recommend taking a look at these next time anyone visits). I almost bought myself one but I had to remember what I came for! Ultimately, I ended up with a beautiful charm necklace that my cousin absolutely adores. She wears it everyday so I take that as a good sign! :) I will definitely be back once its time to shop for the holidays.

I have had wonderful experiences at Diamond Hut Jewelers in the Newport Mall. I have had two pairs of cufflinks made from stones which were heirlooms from my family and they did a terrific job with both of them. They have gone out of their way to accommodate me, including taking pictures with their own personal phones of jewelry that I needed photographed. The watch care and service they have provided, from adjusting bands to ordinary battery replacement has been quick and efficient. You feel like they are people you can trust with your own personal jewelry as well as a new watch which I also got there and wear almost every day.

First and last time I will EVER use this jeweler for any reason. I would give them zero stars if I could. I brought my $1,800 Michele watch here for a simple battery change and left with a cracked mother of pearl watch face and no battery.When dropping off my watch, I specifically inspected the watch because when I previously had the battery changed at a different jeweler, the mother of pearl watch face cracked during the battery change as well and they had to send it to be repaired.Left my watch for 10 minutes to get the battery changed and upon returning, the face was cracked. Brought it up to the man working there and he brought his manager over who kept telling me there was no way this could happen when changing the watch battery - well then tell me how it magically happened in the 10 minutes I was gone???The manager admitted it was their fault for not inspecting the watch when I dropped it off, but then went back on her word and said they get damaged watches all the time and dont take note of what is wrong with them when replacing batteries and that I shouldve mentioned to them to pay special attention. Why should I mention to pay special attention if there is no way this could happen???I told the manager I was not paying for the battery after they cracked the watch face and she offered me a $5 discount - WHAT A JOKE!!! I then told them to just take the battery out if they wouldnt give it to me for free because I am not willing to pay ANY money to this place after the experience I had.Horrible customer service. I now have a $1,8000 Michele watch with a cracked mother of pearl face and a dead watch battery.Stay away from this place with your expensive watches.

I love this store Diamond Hut at Newport Centre Mall, my fiance is so in love with pink I planned on buying her a pink engagement ring. I shopped around and everywhere was very expensive, I stopped here and sure enough they had exactly what I was looking for plus a matching wedding band which was perfect. The price was right and Shaun, Nori and the staff was excellent with helping me with creating the perfect ring.Then a month later picking it up I had found a matching pink bracelet and I put it on layaway. I moved and forgot about it, 3 years later I have found the receipt and called thinking they probably put it back or sold it and I lost my deposit. To my surprise they still had the bracelet on layaway for me and actually remember who I was once I said my name. I went and picked it up and Nori recognized me as soon I walked in, the staff was so pleasant and helpful.
