Fast and affordable oil tank removal. Would recommend them 10/10!
I hired ERC for the removal of an abandoned oil tank located in the front of my house. I recently sold my house and required this to be done before closing. I spoke with Tina Heeley (same person posting reviews on Google as a happy customer) who was very helpful and nice. I have to say she made the start of the process pretty simple as she emailed me the estimate and I was also able to provide a payment through email. The waiting period for the permit was lengthy but I assume it was no fault of theres. Moving on. The technician arrived and also seemed nice. However, when they completed the work, I noticed that my front sidewalk was significantly cracked in three places. So much that the technician placed a large cone on it, because it was not safe for pedestrians to walk on. The technician did tell me about the damages and I just assumed it would be repaired by the company. Right? I mean if you break something, you should replace it? Well Not ERC!When I contacted their office and spoke with Hugh Tat I immediately realized that they were not planning on repairing the damages they caused to my sidewalk. They noted that their “contract” states that they are not responsible for any damages. However, he stated that he would “work” with me.Knowing this, I went the cheaper route in repairing the sidealk and hired a handyman to basically make it look better or enough to be safe for pedestrians. When I advised Hugh Tat of this, he said the BEST they can do is $250 to help with the cost because $500 was too much. WOW! If $500 is too much, what would have they said about the $1150 for the proper repair. In any case, it has been over a month and I have yet to receive the $250. Thanks Hugh!Save yourselves the headache and don’t hire this company as they can basically break your property and not feel responsible to fix it because “it is noted in their contract” that they can do so. Now I know why they have to pose as customers and give themselves their own reviews.
Just had a tank removed and the process was super simple. They handle the permit process and everything!
We hired ERC to remove our oil tank. The workers showed up early and did an amazing job. Would highly recommend them!
Great company. Used for oil tank removal in jersey city. Staff is professsional and well trained. Job completed before time and helped obtaining all permits.
The company is listed 3 times on Google so i want to make sure people know how rude they are. I posted my review on the newark link. I called to clear up an issue with a permit that needs to be closed for the sale of a house and they hung up on me and said its not their problem. this is the customer service you will get.
