This place is not luxury, in fact far from it. Currently sitting here during a hurricane as our ceiling is profusely leaking water into our apartment. We called management, the emergency line and the general line and no one will help us.This isnt even the first time weve had issues with management but this takes the cake. (Random water shut offs that last the entire day, technical issues with their rent payment website and then sending late fees to tenants because of them). Front desk staff are wonderful but the entire management staff are the absolute WORST.Reply to Response from owner: The number you provided is the main phone line to Grove Pointe that just directs me to the individuals who are not helping me. No one has provided me with a valid number to someone I can speak to directly at the KRE group.

Renters beware. Property manager is absolute horrible. Tiffany Roberts need to be fired for Grove Pointe to flourish. We can put up with low quality appliances and street noise, however dealing with Tiffany is worse than all these negatives combined. Tiffany Roberts was very rude and condescending in all the communications we had with her.-In response to the reply below, the number you provide is just the main Grove Pointe line that will direct me to Tiffany whom I and other tenants are having issues with. If you would like to sincerely resolve this issue, please provide me a valid number that can speak to someone directly at the KRE group.

The water shut down way too often. And the shut down is from 9 to 4. Sometimes even to 5. For almost a whole day, no restroom! Are you kidding me? For one or two days in a year, it’s fine. But now, for every two weeks, water shut down. It really makes life hard. Especially when most residents are working from home. For comfort, the building gives free food. During the lunch time, there was a long line waiting beside the food truck in the cold winter. After I have waited for half an hour, the food truck could not work. Then we were asked to leave. When coming back, there were a long line waiting for the elevator. Frustrating!!! We pay a lot for the rent. When I chose this apartment, I could not image the living experience is the worst. If there were 0 star, I would definitely not choose 1 star.Put the water issue aside, the stuff there is friendly and helpful. I am grateful for their work.

The blinds in living room is actually kind of transparent but for some studios, you only have corner window and its difficult to set up extra blind.Paper thin wall, paper thin door. Unbelievable expensive energy bill. They cant solve the water problem. The rent is expensive but doesnt worth it. If the rent is much lower, I may not say anything about these problem. They used cheap materials in unit and the old AC is difficult to control( no timer, you cant choose specific temperature) No individual heater in winter as other apartment. The AC is noisy and has terrible smell when using heating mode. Dont move to here plz!

Where to begin!? All start with our amazing leasing agent, Matthew Laderman, was/is a ROCKSTAR! He guided us through all of the available apartments and showed us the ins/outs of each building. He was knowledgable on everything and his customer service was on point! He sold us on one unit in particular and were thrilled to now call Grove Pointe home. Thank you Matthew for showing up for us as your professionalism was outstanding. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST. The building stops water supply almost every other week and sometimes without notice. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this apartment if you are a normal human being who showers and drinks water. Best!

I just want to thank Grove Pointe staff! They help me a lot in everything related! I could get response and solve my problems in short time. And I am satisfy with my renovated clean room. Although some Home appliance a little old, overall work ok! And the location is great, so close to the Path Grove St. Station. (too close to burn my bodyfat). This is my first time live in and rent an apartment in USA, and I am glad I made the clever choice to lease the apartment.

Update: After living here, this building has not lived up to expectations of reasonable courtesy and efficiency. My husband and I were house hunting in the Jersey City area when we we got interested in Grove Pointe. We were able to schedule a viewing at short notice and Preya gave us a fantastic tour. She was really helpful and patient while we were deciding on our ideal apartment. Our frequent queries were promptly answered. When we expressed interest in another apartment in the building, she readily showed us around again. We have finalized our apartment in the building and are looking forward to our move in.

We were very excited to look at Grove Pointe because of the amazing location, apartment amenities, and recommendation from a fellow colleague. We were assisted by our leasing agent Preya who was fantastic. She was accommodating, and very patient with us throughout the whole process, taking the time to answer all of our questions in person and via email. She even meet with us a second time so that we could view our actual unit before signing the lease. We are very appreciative of Preya and the current tenants for this as it was extremely important to us to see the apartment beforehand. We are grateful for all of her help and excited to begin our journey at Grove Pointe.

Been here for 2 years, and just reupped in another unit. The whole front desk team is stellar, and make living here great. Obviously the location is great as well. Preya/Alison K in the office took great care of us during the transition. Team switched appliances within 24 hours of an issue, and any minor thing that comes up is taking care of swiftly. If I had one complaint - is that the electric heaters are fiinicky and dry out the apartment quickly.

Been living here for a bit over 2.5 years and love it. Cant beat the location right by the Path train and the building has all the offerings you need - gym, workout classes, pool and fun events that are held throughout the year. The front desk staff is great as well as the leasing office, Julie and Gene in particular! Definitely recommend.

I have been in the building for nearly 9 years now and had very comfortable stay here. Management is good, maintenance staff in my experience has been responsive. Recently I have changed apt within the building and worked with leasing agent Preya Sukhraj who was extremely helpful and responsive to get us the new apt at the right price.

One of the best places to rent around new port/grove street area. The best part is the location, close to everything: restaurants, pharmacy, path..Building management is also very responsive and takes care of anything that needs to be fixed promptly. Front desk is very friendly too, and residents in the building are nice too. I have stayed in other rentals around New port before this, but this is by far the best.

We have been living at Grove pointe for 3 years. We took our first rental through Preya, who was extremely helpful and is really awesome! However, ever since their first property manager Julie left, the things have been going downhill. The new property management team does not really care much. We’ve been complaining about a particular issue with our apartment and the current property management team hasn’t done anything for over a year.

My husband and I have been living here for almost 4 years now. We love the building and the super wonderful and pleasant staff. Preya at the leasing office and Tiaise at the front desk are awesome ! They are always willing to help out with anything .. The place has such a community feel to it ! Also the amazing events they keep organizing for adults and kids and the parties... all of it keeps the environment so festive. Even the maintainence is prompt .

We are proud to have chosen Grove pointe as our home. Really like the space, cleanliness, freindly concierge and NY connectivity convenience. Our leasing agent Preya was super friendly and really supportive when we were deciding on the apartment. She showed us all the building amenities and answered all our queries with patience, as it was our first time renting in US. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to find the right apartment for themselves!

Aside from the absolutely fantastic location, there isnt much that stands out about Grove Pointe. The rent isnt extremely high, but its not cheap either. (Dont forget that rent goes up each year everywhere, so eventually everyone has to move. Id call this one affordable for 2-3 years, after that you should get a better deal elsewhere). The building is in decent shape, but not great. The neighborhood has been revitalized with a new pedestrian plaza. The city skyline views are disappearing (can still see the new WTC, but not the Empire State building anymore) with the new, NOISY NOISY construction going on (6a-6p!), but the windows are so dirty you wouldnt be able to see it anyway. You cant hear most of the neighbors, but you can smell their cooking. There are a lot of dogs and babies here. A lot. Dogs and babies. Lots of dogs and babies. They make the building smell like dogs and babies.Large windows are an energy suck as glass is not a good insulating material.

Everything about Grove Pointe and Jersey City is great. Sure beats the noise and congestion of Manhattan — but were still close enough it has almost NO impact on our social life. We can easily get to the city whenever we want. And the neighborhood of downtown JC has all the convenience of Manhattan, too.

Looked at Grove Pointe apartments, 100 Christopher Columbus Drive for 1 bed rentals. Great building and great location( next to PATH station), and my pleasant experience started with fabulous first step - getting to know the building via Leasing office. Preya Sukhraj from the leasing office is super efficient and very thorough in the dealings. I was considering various good buildings in Jersey City neighborhood( 70 Greene, Liberty towers, Urby etc) but what really tilted the tide in favor of Grove Pointe was how welcoming, easy, super prompt and full of transparency the whole experience was, courtesy Preya! Thanks Preya!

Have been a resident for over 3 years. All of the staff is very helpful and nice. We have moved multiple units within the building and leasing office and the management has been super accomodating. Special shout out to our leasing agent Preya Sukhraj, who helped us during our (multiple) leasing processes and always greets us with a smile whenever we run into each other. And Staci Langdon has been really understanding during our move out process. And ofcourse the building management, especially Tiase and Lovice who are extremely helpful.

Save your money with honest people. We lost connection with our friend and called the front desk and leasing office to see if someone can help us to check our friends safety. It was been 40 min and still no one check for us EVEN in emergency and safety issues, and I still have been waiting right now. I really have no idea why mgt team set up security team and front desk even if they cant provide any help. The worst services I have never seen. Can I say F**K THIS PLACE?:)

My husband and I have lived here for almost three years! The apartments are reasonably priced for the area, the management is pretty responsive (we have never waited more than 24 hours for something to be fixed). Our electric bill if pretty reasonable, and the location is incredible (less than 200 ft from the PATH Grove Street Station! I work in the East village (14th and 3rd Ave) and it takes me less than 30 minutes door to door to get to my office. Only downside is that you pay an extra amenities fee (like most high rise buildings in downtown JC) and the pool is only open from memorial day to labor day, even if it is hot throughout September. Overall, fantastic place to live in downtown JC.
