This is a great place. Ive adopted 2 cats, years apart, and in both cases they were kind, knowledgeable of and informative about the cats they had, and clearly cared about providing a good home to their charges. Highly recommended.
We recently lost a pet Chinchilla. We wanted his food, bedding and treats to not go to waste. They took our entire donation for some small rodents who needed it. Thanks for making our loss a little less painful. Please consider donating.
Under two years ago went here to adopt a kitten, when I arrived the kitten Id be speaking to someone about had already been adopted. They offered a small one year old cat instead. This cat is sweet, but has had long term behavioral issues (cant use litter box, possibly ptsd) that were never disclosed. When we initially tried to return early on this place was super rude about it. We decided to keep her, but clearly these are issues the cat has had that theres simply no way this place didnt know about. Would never come here again.
The adoption process is UNSAFE for animal and adopter. Adopting a dog without meeting in person is DANGEROUS. Zoom meeting with someone telling you whatever they want about the dog. Than when coming to pick up dog you must STAY in your vehicle, they toss the dog in your car and send you on your way. This is absolutely DANGEROUS!!!Unfortunately dog I adopted was so wild, and uncontrollable I had no choice but to give him back. It broke my heart because I really was trying to him a chance. Especially because I was told he had basic obedience training. ABSOLUTELY DANGEROUS!!!!!
Huge shout out to Christine* for being a rockstar and answering my 2 million questions. After a hard time trying to adopt a kitten I lucked out with the cutest little man all thanks to Liberty Humane Society. Thank you guys for a supportive and reliable adoption!! Thanks Christine :)
This organization has so many more community options than people know about! I found a poor little kitten being thrown in a dumpster- when I called this location they were ready and willing to take him in, but also informed me of their spay/neuter - vaccination - microchip options. After discussing with them my options I decided I would find a home for the cat on my own (which luckily I was able to quickly!!) but I would also take advantage of their low cost options. They treated him very good, did a great job with his neuter and after care, had excellent communication and they are also VERY cautious regarding COVID which is very reassuring! 10/10 recommend and support everything they do here!! I look forward to working with them again in the future!
I wish i can give no stars!!! I had the worst experience at liberty humane Society I lost my dog. I driving all around Jersey City my dog was not lost for more than 24 hours. People said they seen someone take a dog so I decided to go down there and check. I seen one of the employees in the back because no one was answering the door or phone and they said yes they have that dog. So I called again and they told us we have to call animal control. I called animal control I had to provide pictures and information that they sent over to liberty humane. After liberty humane Told us to just to get in the car and leave. I kept calling and kept calling and finally someone answered and said that yeah the dog is there and there was multiple people claiming the door which I told them yes it was my family members all calling because no one is answering. We had to email them more information and which I understand every place has protocols but they were so nasty and rude about everything the girls were laughing on the phone while I was speaking as if they did not want to give me my dog back. Then finally after hours later they sent me a paper that I had to fill out and send back over with an photo ID over email. As I was waiting there were three other people there trying to get their dog back and also having the same problem as me. I waited out side 12pm-3:30. It should have not taken this long. After they said they were going to bring out the dog they made us stay in our vehicle or there was not gonna give us the dog they were peeking out the window to make sure we were in the car like if we were kids we are grown people and should be treated with respect this unprofessional and unacceptable and they do not care about animals my dog was dehydrated and crying when I got my dog back and I hope no one has to ever go through this and its a shame that this is the only shelter in Jersey City
They’re trash as a company and as human beings. They get people to try to up lift the company after dealing with bad experiences. I’ve never dealt with such a trash company like this before. They need better work ethic and better comprehend how to run non profit organizations.
So glad we were able to adopt our cat from here. The employees are knowledgeable, friendly and care. We were even able to bring Tiger back for his booster shot free of charge.
The shelter was supposed to send confirmation email 1 day before my appointment but they sent me an email of paperwork and requirement of my passport just 2 hours before my appointment (I was on my way to this shelter as my home is far from here!!). After calling them on my way, I needed to come back home to get my passport. This doesnt make sense to me and they are wasting my time. They dont even apologize to me. They need to know THEIR RESPONSIBILITY for adoption. When I asked about refund of carrier, they say You can contact the shelter regarding a refund for the carrier the deposit however, is non refundable.. Are you making fun of me? They are disrespectful and wasting my time and money.
I understand that this job takes a toll on ppl emotionally n physically. But the rude ppl who answer the phone when all I wanted was a little info, so I can adopt a Dog was just unnecessary. The prosses to even adopt is unnecessary. How am I supposed to adopt a Dog remotely? I understand that we need appointments to control the foot traffic because of covid, but no in person at all doesnt make sense how am I supposed to kno if the dog likes me if I dnt get to spend time with it, and one application for each Dog is ridiculous
They had reunited me with my dog who is happy and healthy i just dont like the fact that they neutered him and gave him shots he didnt need.
This shelter has great animals, but the management is another story.
Still under wraps due to covid-19. Should improve greatly once restrictions are lifted.
They only accept animals from Jersey City residents. They don’t even accept from neighboring cities. Shame for the animals that need help.
Due to covid I adopted two cats sight unseen based on the adoption coordinator’s recommendation of a good fit. (we didn’t meet until we got home!) I was so impressed with how well socialized and trained the cats were. I don’t know if it was the staff or foster homes that prepared them so well, but they are wonderful. They are unfussy about food and litter boxes and seemed immediately comfortable with everything except for music. Great, well tempered, hilarious companions!
The staff is always very rude. I hope they treat the animals better then they treat people.
I called for help with removing a squirrel that was trapped in a cage and acting wildly. It seemed to be as close to rabid as you might expect. The companys response was to move it ourselves and release it outside. First, someone could be injured. There was no way to know if it was diseased. Second, why would they ask us to release a diseased animal back into a residential area. I was frustrated with the service (or lack thereof to be more precise). Even though they refused to remove the animal (the citys website refers you to them), they decided to call Animal Control to threaten us with criminal action because they didnt take action. Theyre rude and irresponsible.
At first everything went pretty well. I adopted a domestic short hair cat from them and he is a doll.Fast forward 8 weeks out from adopting him. I come to find out that my poor kitten has a heart murmur, enlarged heart, and old fractured to his patella.I email the coordinator to advice her of these health conditions that should of been noted in his medical chart! The coordinator response to me was that they do not have a vet on board and the beck tech are the ones to evaluate the animals.. I’m in rage at this point!!! Never again would I adopt from this agency again.I have never heard of medical conditions not being noted into an animals record.
I have had nothing but the best results here for the past five years with my rescue cat. And now that it is cat in season again I have yet another rescue from the streets and I sure am hoping that they get up and running ASAP. I understand through COVID-19 why they are temporarily closed but I really need a low-cost vet and neuter clinic to keep my latest boy healthy
My students and I just dropped off donations we collected from our school donation drive.I was very impressed with the facility. Since it is under renovations now, we could only see the cats. What a bright cheerful fun and very clean place for these beautiful animals to spend their time before adoption! The staff was very friendly and showed great care and love for the animals too.I definitely recommend checking them out if you would like to adopt a companion. Furry friends absolutely add a lot of joy to ones life! Also consider donating to this worthwhile institution!
More details to come- still in working on trying to get them to help. will keep you all posted.
My husband and I was seeking a friendly affectionate cat. The price was fair $120 including shots, microchip, etc...We was able to take home the cat the same day. The staff was super helpful and the young lady upstairs monitoring the cats listened to our needs and suggested the perrrfect cat. We decided to name him Malcolm. His original name was Avion. I highly recommend this place.
God Bless you
My under age child was walking to his friends house when a dog was following him, he called Liberty Humane Society, was told to stay with the dog 15 minutes latter I called to see what was taking them so long, when I was told that someone should be leaving to that area shortly. I told the lady you have the location my son is under age I am at work so he will proceed to his destination when she tells me that if something happens to that dog is on me, we have your sons name and phone number on record So thats when I got upset and told her what if that dog attacks my son while you still havent send someone she reply thats on youAn act of kindness make me responsible for someone else dog.
I loved Christine Miranda from the start. The other go, thinwith glasses and curly hair seemed rude but was just very upfront . In the end, I was fine with everything.
Very unresponsive. Tried calling 4 times a day for medical help and no one answered. Called about my foster dogs sickness and they kept dismissing it. Since they dismissed the situation, I had to bring the dog to ER for nonstop bleeding due to broken toenails, and they took him back as a result of a breach of contract.
Had to give Brandy away.
I adopted a kitten from this center and they were really nice and helpful. And I LOVE the cat I got. We’re very happy together.I’m thinking of finding some time and see if they need any volunteers.
They were very helpful and I found a beautiful little 🐈 to take home! Thank you
Adopted a cat, suddenly died of cancer a few months later. The staff here is great but I think they should’ve been aware the cat was sick or had told me the truth prior. Would’ve saved lots of emotions down the road.
I hope I will never have to deal with these people again. Me and my girlfriend went to bark in the park in Hoboken and got a very cute five year old Pit Bull/Chocolate Lab mix who we were told was very good with children, smaller animals, and loved car rides. He wasnt house trained but we knew that and we willing to train him. We were to foster him for a month until he could get his boosters and get neutered and then he would be ours. While our foster dog was originally great we started to realize that he was not who the Humane Society made him out to be. He was not good with children and tried to snap at them, he was not good with smaller dogs because he nearly got my girlfriends sisters dog without warning, and he was not great in the car. After my sisters girlfriend got bit trying to protect her dog we called the Humane Society asking to take him back immediately but what they did instead was to tell us to put him on a 10-day bite quarantine. We reluctantly agreed but was questioning why they could not just take him back. Two nights ago, while just out to get some groceries, my girlfriend came back to see that our foster dog not only broke his big kennel that we got him but also started biting into the dry wall and crown molding. He did not have to pee or poop because when we took him out afterwards he did nothing. Distraught my wife wanted him away as soon as possible so we planned on me taking him to the Humane Society the next day after I got out of work. There was traffic on the road so I called the Society to tell that we could not afford to have our foster dog there anymore and to tell them that I would be there at 7:26 (they closed at 7) and that I live an hour and a half from Jersey City. They told me that no one would be there to take him and that there was no way that they could stay past 7 oclock on the dot and told me to drive back. I stressed to them that we could NOT KEEP HIM ANY LONGER and that the foster dog as their responsibility and that I was driving for almost an hour at that point but they did not seem to care and told me to bring him in the next day. My girlfriend brought him in today and said that when she did the staff all had looks on their faces and talked negatively about the foster dog under their breathes. Mistakes happen, I get that. Sometimes a shelter or humane society might think hes good with kids or small animals but isnt and then the new owners or foster parents unfortunately find out later. But this was no mistake, theres a difference between not knowing whether a dog is good with these things in which you say were not sure if hes good around so and so and being absolutely confident in the staff saying, hes great with kids and small animals. If the staff was talking negatively about the foster dog underneath their breathes then obviously they knew he wasnt great with everything like they described to us. So they lied to us, bottom line. In order to get him out of their hair they made the dog seem what he wasnt. If we knew that he wasnt good with these things we wouldnt have gotten him. Hes a very cute and low energy dog and has a great foundation to be a loving, caring, and sweet dog and I guarantee that hopefully if they do not lie to anyone again someone who is able to put in the work can make him a great companion. Unfortunately me and my girlfriend work and go to school and cannot put all the major work an training that he needs, but hopefully with a lot of time can. Thankfully, he was on our leash when he saw kids because it would be a very big legal issue if the child got hurt. What if we brought a child into our home thinking everything was okay when it actually wasnt. There couldve been a lot bad things that happened if it wasnt for my girlfriend and I. So bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE, if the staff lied to us and tried in every way to delay us bringing in the dog and were talking badly about the dog they can do it to you too. Our house has damages of hundreds of dollars that I know will not be reimbursed. Overall, I am disgusted. Dont go here.
What a nightmare dealing with supervisor Heather. My mother has been trying to get feral cats in the neighborhood neutered and spayed. She contacted Heather who requested that she pay upfront for 4 cats. After a week only 2 were caught. The dates on when they would have surgery was a great mystery. When they would be returned even bigger mystery. She waited for hours for the phone call which only came after 1st cat was released. The second cat, still waiting for that call, only when she called was she told, oh she was released hours ago. When asked about refund was told, no, she must have fed them. I called and was told from Heather that she has proof these ferals were getting fed, and because of that no refund would be returned. Then hung up on me. I persisted and called from my cell and requested the pictures. was them told I need to do in writing, however Heather wasnt sure of her address. Also when asked who she reports to, wouldnt tell me. To have her tell the story, she is the only one at that location with any authority. Thats very sad because she has no sense of decency on how to treat humans. Except a few months ago when I spoke to her about sending a large donation of supplies, then she was very nice. And very nice taking the check for these feral cats. Sad part is these ferals are still out in the neighborhood multiplying
While they are doing great job of rescuing and providing a shelter to these innocent dogs, they can definitely use some personal development. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude. If they personally have such bad professionalism, I dont know what kind of environment they must be creating for the poor dogs.
Dont answer the phone and the woman who sits at the front t desk will come outside to and acts like she doesnt hear you. I sat outaide for over two hours and on the phone for two hours trying to reach them
Looking forward to being voluntary again when that place is back to normal when the world is back to normal pray to God its soon
I’m happy I rescued my animals from here but one person I was on the phone with had no idea what she was talking about. Didn’t answer my questions and when she kept asking did I help you with everything I would say no and she would hang up on me. And I would have to call over and over again. When I asked to speak to someone Else she just hung up on me. Otherwise it’s a clean area with animals who need love.
Great place..I adopted a cat from them eleven years ago.. but I wanted a kitten and they were on a trip to visit a college. being it was trip from my house..I got one from a rescue closer.but not much parking there in liberty..so i paid for it next door ...beats a ticket
Staff ok meet & greet but if you have a problem later on like maybe 10yrs down the rode from their agency..a legitimate crisis and you need their help..forget it..theyll TRY and take you to court. Then the staff dont want to MEET AND GREET..they want $$. They LOST!!!
Best Animal shelter around Jersey City. Im a volunteer here and I enjoy every minute of taking care of those beautiful pups and kittens. If youre an animal lover like me then I would request you to adopt/foster or donate or volunteer for such organization near your place. Gives you happiness and comfort out of your regular work/study life :)
I tried to donate some of my deceased dogs supplies and medication here and dealt with extremely rude, unprofessional, and unorganized staff. Its a shame that this organization is so poorly managed.
I was able to Foster my beautiful Kitten Piper. They allowed me and my huge family to have a sit in with her and it worked. The kids are handling Piper with care and Piper has gotten use to our home. They really take their time to find the best possible matches.
For a nice grant given the place is so small the smallest Ive ever seen .And I dont believe the pitties ever go out for a run and some fresh air not fair to them But the cat room is so spotless and the women is so informative she lets a couple of the kittiens and older cats play with each other she socializes all of them they look they were having fun. She deserves a raise dont loose her.
Saving lives!!
They say they transfer dogs to other facilities because “They cannot house them” meanwhile they transfer them to kill shelters or have them put down. DO NOT SURRENDER A PET HERE. & if someone sends your pet here without your consent, get your animal back by all means necessary. They also give to those who bribe & offer to donate rather than someone who genuinely wants a pet.
Love the way the furry friends are treated. Keep up the good work team
Not all, but MOST of the staff I encountered today was extremely rude and unprofessional. Due to unfortunate events, my mother had to return her adopted dog and cat to this shelter. The reason for our returning, despite us loving the animals, was due to my nephews severe pet allergy (he lives with my mother and developed them after his first birthday - we just got these results days ago). Upon returning, the front desk staff (I wish I had their names) made our experience very unpleasant.Although I believe all animals should be treated with respect and always given another chance at a better home, I wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you’re ready to be treated with little to no respect, I’d advise to go elsewhere. That is until they adjust their customer service.
Staff is wonderful. Dogs are amazing! Great reviews from my neighbors. Will be adopting from them soon
Very nice staff. They knew each animal and they were very attentive to us and the dogs. Hoping to find a forever friend soon.
They open at 2pm, I got there at 4pm not one pet on the line has been seen but the staff is inside sitting doing nothing, plotting on how to stop the line at 15 pets. I gave them 2 stars only because the prices are better than the vet. I guess lower prices mean lower service.
V helpful and professional, despite the bureaucracy
Friendly and helpful. Adopted our boy Fitz from them and he has been wonderful. Truly loving group of people.
I was a volunteer and I went a couple of times because of the love I have for animals. The crew there all have a terrible attitude, TERRIBLE. They say they want volunteers but they treat volunteers like trash and if u ask if there’s anything u can do they reply with attitude. Like why offer the volunteer program if you’re going to treat them badly like that. The shelter is not really well taken care of, and the workers do not care about the pets. I moved on the best friends shelter, they are much more taken care of and they treat volunteers well!
My wife and I went in with the hopes to adopt a dog we saw photos of on their website. Within a few hours of traveling and speaking with the staff members we were able to sign papers and bring our dog home to foster throughout the finalization of the adoption process. LHS volunteers fought for us to win the rights to foster and adopt our dog after a few other late-comers wanted to also take our pup home while we were at the shelter. They were very helpful and open to communicate throughout the adoption process, check-ups, shots, and neutering. When questions arose in our early stage of owning our dog, staff members were able to direct us to the appropriate venues of help to get the best answers. Our dog is healthy, energetic, and such a cute little guy. He has a great personality, came house trained and is good with humans and animals. I would suggest getting to their facility as fast as possible if you feel that you are ready to own a pet!
Employees are not helpful. I went with my family wanted to look for a puppy inventory. They were closing in 30 minutes and the receptionist concerns was that they are closing soon so we really didnt have time to do anything.
My fiancee and I got a phone call today from this place letting us know that they had a dog ready to go to a forever home. When we got there after 3 long hours waiting we got the surprise that the dogs owner called claiming the pet( the first time she called after 7 days). The owner said that she was the sister of the owner, She said that the dog got missing on Sunday, but the shelter had it since Saturday. The staff from the front desk just lied to us like if we were little children. Please find another job.
My boyfriend and i came here for the second time to adopt a dog & we found a German Shepard that was about 4 years old. We filled out the application and waited over an hour to get everything confirmed, just for them to tell us that they like to have open communication with the family adopting the animal and that they felt they did not have that kinda relationship with us. Basically saying that we’re untrustworthy. How could they just assume something like that. They told they would not let us adopt that day. The one lady we spoke to is extremely, tremendously rude and mean. She wasn’t tryna to be understanding at all. How can they expect people to come and rescue and give these animals a loving home if they make it impossible to adopt them? Most of the smaller dogs were outside wet and cold. It was snowing this day, she was out there too (the German Shepard) we just wanted to take her back to our warm home and love her and they ruined her opportunity. They told us it’s hard for her to get adopted because of her limitations and we were willing to comply but they wouldn’t allow it
I normally never write reviews but this place is the worst. A cat I was waiting for to see was not available and they told me she was sick and not going to be available for 2 weeks. I was checking everyday on their site. Then literally the next day after I called it says she was adopted. I filled out an adoption application for her and they lied to me! Then they were telling me they never told me she was sick! Unbelievable honestly I’m never coming here again.
Recommend adopting from here. I adopted my kitten from them. They are very caring and informative.
Alan their is so professional. He is a gem. He truly loves the job he does. He come in did what he had to and left. No matter how many questions were asked he multiTask N got it done. Thank you....
When I volunteered there they treated me like TRASH!! I walked in and they completely ignored me and didn’t even wanna greet me when I said hello to them. I would ask what I can help with and they would say “idk” I love the animals there but the staff is horrible I cant it’s like I’m here to help you I’m not getting paid or anything but I’d rather leave then be treated like trash
Nice organization, they take good care of the animals!
Great place to bring your pet in if you leave for the weekend!!
Super friendly volunteers. If you need a pup in Jersey City, please dont buy. Give one of these loving animals a home
I adopted this cat, when he was 4 months old,He’s been getting sicker and we took him to the vet and ran some test it turns out he had cancer for a while now,but It is now getting worst,if they took the proper test we would have known he had cancer and they should have informed us if they’ve knew.
Think Im going to get my kitten from here! The boys are not so friendly or take-home worthy. But clean place and friendly staff, very knowledgeable as well.
Nice area. Parking is free. Well organized.
My friend was attacked by an animal from this placeThey are Horrible to call for an emergency animal attack and somehow the state of New Jersey allows this to be the only emergency animal control after hours they refused to take the cat she got from a person that got this cat from their facility its aggressive and dangerous most of all sick as well as I heard that his friend got a cat from here that was sick with worms and they tried to play it off as it was a kitten when the cat was 5 years old same situation with this cat but it was a female cat and she is aggressive as well the cat is 5 years old and hes nothing but aggressive they sold him when he wasnt fixed and had no shots this place is a shame and should be shut down not only that they put the girl in danger who called for the aggressive cat attacking her and her children the police did not want to do anything about it as well Jersey City really sucks and all government associations in Jersey City I dont understand how they wont take the cat after many attempts and hours of the cat trying to attack them but if she were to throw the cat outside or leave it somewhere else way from her house for the safety of her children she would have been charged with animal abuse please tell me how that makes sense when the animal was trying to and still is attacked them for hours. this place is unprofessional unclean they sell sick animals and they really dont care for the animals will for your well-being.
Staff are very nice and helpful.
Excellent explanation for all the process to adopt a dog. The ladies there are very helpful.
Please stay away from this place. I adopted a cat from them and they fail to tell us that he was sick. Three month later he die. Looking back I realized they knew because from the time I first saw him and the time I adopted him he looked like a totally different cat. I thought maybe I just didnt remember but after he die I found the original pictures and realized how different he looked. I am not the only person who have had this kind of experience with the shelter. I truly believe they either knew and never said anything or even worth they simply neglect their animals. Either way they should not do this job due to their lack of compassion for the animals. The only people who care about the animals there are the volunteers, (at least the one I know does care deeply) but then again there is only so much they can do.
Im rating 5* for such a great rescue this morning.I found a kitten like a skeleton and full of flu, probably about 4/5 months old sitting in the rd.I tried my best to catch it then called LHS who sent a guy to help it.Very kind and swift action for the lil love. Its being taken care of now.I definitely want to help these beautiful animals Thank you so much for everything LHS.God bless.
They need so much more money. They are the only animal shelter in Hudson county, and they are super underfunded. Please donate to them, please adopt if you can manage, please write to your local representative (Donald Payne Jr.) to increase their funding.
I drop off food one time and was ignored, no one had the time to even say hello or thank you. Just leave the food there one girl said. The dogs were in the back in their cages and it was full of poop.
I just completed orientation to become a volunteer & the experience was awesome, and I cant wait to volunteer.
The weds vet day is the best. They care and they love. Not glitz but still good.
Great location to adopt a cat or dog.
I was a volunteer here for a few months. I dont anymore because of the negative attitudes of some administrators attitudes. They love extra help and donations but will not take any found or rescued animal from anyone. This is a shelter. Where do they get the animals from if they font take walk ins? I was told to call animal control. If i wanted the animal dead then i will call the animal control. I wanted the cat rescued because it was asking for help and wasnt an alley cat. I registered them ftom my amazon donation but not anymore. Moved the donation to best friends society
Disregard this rating. It was in error and I’m unable to delete it.
Poor service and communication. Arrived to pick up a dog and was greeted with its 6:36, thats 6 minutes late but okay. When I confronted her about yelling over the phone to pick up the dog, she denied any such occurrence then avoided escalating the issue to a manager. They dont tell you when they close or that the call center is a different facility than the shelter nor do they tell you what you have to bring to pick up the dog.The process took longer than needed and she made it much more difficult/stressful than necessary.
These guys are doing a great job in helping animals in the community.
This is the worst animal shelter Ive been when they get these adopted animals they dont fully check to see if these animals has problems. Then they want you to wait 2-3weeks to return animal back and make an appointment. They are very rude. The cat that I adopted was pissing and pooping on my clothing and still using the litter box at the same time. And then she says it didnt mean to do that. Dont go to this shelter and adopt the worst.
So rude and misinformed. Would be nice if the staff knew a thing or two about dogs. Nice handling letting one of your dogs pounce and mouth on my daughter. Idiots.
Got a very loving cat there. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
No stars should be given. they are not helpful at all. they have an attitude. and they want you to go outside your house to look for other people feeding a stray cat that was injured and I was trying to get help.
Good place to adopt a pet. Animals are kept very well and healthy.
Possibly the worst animal shelter ever. My dog ran away and my whole family was scrambling to find him. I called in at 4 to see if they may have come across him. Told me they wont release any info until I emailed them with all the details. So I did, legit 3 mins after we got off the phone. Didnt hear back so I called again, the office was closed and they didnt even bother telling me that they were closing soon! Now we were left wondering whether or not our dog was safe or not. So we called the next morning at 8 am to see if he was, thankfully we were but we couldnt pick him up until 4. They said if we didnt pick him up on time well have to reschedule. Reschedule for what?! Then they have the audacity to tell me I must pick him up cause hes cold and shivering. Honestly this isnt a shelter at all. They can care less about you or your pet.
The cats was like wild animals and they was really bad and also the cats wasnt friendly at all it was really bad.
Friendly staff at this small but clean shelter. Ive adopted from here and donate time and money. Great volunteer program.
Adopted both our amazing cats from here. The staff are dedicated, hard working, and do amazing things for these animals.
Liberty Humane Society rocks!! Adopted our blind cat from there. We couldnt be more in love!
Love the staff, super professional and informative
I love both of my cats me and my grandma adopted, they are doing great! thank you liberty humane society!!!!
