We had a wonderful experience with Able Carpet today. Called the company yesterday and was told Kyle would schedule a time for us. He showed up today (we thought for an estimate). He arrived with the tools needed to stretch our buckled carpet and completed the job beautifully! If it looks bad next month I will update this review. But I really doubt that will be an issue.

This place came highly recommended by a local contractor. I was arranging this work under a tight time frame, and before making any arrangements or even looking at the carpet, I made sure this time frame was reasonable and I was assured it was.Turns out, it wasnt. The contractors refused to work more than 6 hours a day, so they worked 10-4 and didnt complete this project in the day they told me they would, so in addition to my time being eaten up, I had to reschedule a cleaning service and a flight to accommodate their schedule, thus costing me an extra $500.Kyle, the carpet installer showed up at my house, with a note on the invoice that furniture removal was part of the scope of work. He took one look at the house and refused to move anything. Instead, Kyle tried to tell my other contractor (hired for painting) that he needed to move everything.After talking to Michael, the manager, we got the issue cleared up. When Kyle wasnt able to get the work done in the required time frame, I told him I was disappointed because I was promised a time frame. He left, while threatening not to return the next day because he didnt appreciate having a time frame to work under. He also refused to come in before 10 am because he has a life outside of work and cant be expected to drop everything to meet my scheduleMichael, the manager apologized on behalf of Kyle, but nothing was done to make this right. I sincerely appreciate Michaels apology, but unfortunately that does not change how his men handled themselves, with Kyle threatening to walk out and refusing to move furniture, even though it was clearly written in the contract. I love giving my money to small businesses, and especially ones that have Made in America product. However, the lack of respect and the level of unprofessionalism that was displayed is simply unacceptable and I cannot in good faith recommend their services.

These guys are the real deal. Genuine customer service from Michael and the owner George. Their selection of product is vast and diverse. Their installers delivered truly professional work with a clean finish. Two thumbs up for Able Carpet, thanks guys!

We went into their store and were immediately greeted and showed us our options. Offered us to take a few samples we were interested in home. We then ordered our flooring. When our order arrived, Mike called and we set the days. Jonah actually showed up when promised and did an awesome job. When he finished the job things were put back and left the house cleaned! Couldn’t have asked for better service!

DO NOT use this company. I hired Able Carpet to install carpeting and recover the waiting room bench in my store.They have been paid for this service excluding the remaining balance on covering the bench. Because of the stores operational hours we have had to schedule the install after 5 p.m on Sunday.They did not seem to have a problem with it.At first all went well until they didnt complete the job the first time around. We rescheduled for the following Sunday which was a NO SHOW and couldnt reach them for an entire week and Nobody was returning calls. When I finally got a hold of someone they blamed it on Hurricane Matthew and no power. We attempted to get it done the following Sunday and per the Company the installer had a family emergency and couldnt do it. We finally scheduled the final completion of the install and covering the Bench for yesterday October 23th (Which I tried to confirm on Friday with no return call) and this is what we found when we came in this morning October 24.... The Bench looks horrible the carpet was not finished, carpet scraps were left everywhere and tools were left behind. NOTHING IS FINISHED and WHAT IS FINISHED LOOKS UNACCEPTABLE) We are about to start store operation and we have had to hire someone to clean the store so that we can take care of our patients. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not have the technicians nor organization to get the job done .

The people at Able Carpets are some of the nicest Ive ever come in contact with. There were so many options but hearing their advice and knowledge I am happy with the carpet I chose and thankful for their help! I would recommend them to anyone!
