I would probably give a much better review if it was not for one of their persons working there.Tony proved to be unprofessional and not helpful over and over in my opinionHe will get irritated every time I would have questions and not let him just do what he wanted.Rest of the team was nice to work with but unfortunately I was stuck with Tony many times. Again this represents my opinion
I had a pool light and spa light stop working on my pool. My pool opened on Memorial Day in 2020 so its a fairly new pool. It has all Pentair equipment so I called Pentair and asked if the lights were under warranty. Pentair customer service is very helpful and said I have a 3 year warranty on the lights and assigned the warranty claim to Crystal Pools. I had never done business with Crystal but I didnt know how this process works. I had tried to fix my the lights myself by removing the cover to the wire connections and tying them back together with new wire nuts. It didnt fix the problem. I didnt put the cover back on so the wire box is now full of water. I didnt care since the 2 lights dont work anyways and the warranty guys would be out soon. I also had all the wires and nuts sticking straight up so they werent in the box now anyway. The Crystal Pools tech arrived on a Saturday when I wasnt home and called. He was a nice guy and I told him of my issue. He wrote up something that said the spa light isnt working but the 2 lights in the pool work fine. Thats the first issue. I have 3 lights in the pool. 2 of them do work fine. But 1 does not. So Mike at Crystal called me today and says hey we arent going to be able to warranty those lights because there was water in the junction box. So I told him what I had previously done. He said well you will have to take that up with Pentair....I dont know you from Adam....I can only report what we found. So I told him since you know the whole story now can you call and tell them and see what they say. He said as far as Im concerned this claim is closed.....you can call Pentair if you want.....but you shouldnt have worked on those lights because they are under warranty. He didnt want to help me at all. I was displeased as I couldnt understand why he wouldnt care to report to Pentair the full story now that he has it. He couldnt have cared less. He then got very rude. I told him I would leave them a review and contact the owner. Im a man of my word. Here is the review. I would never use Crystal Pools for anything. Service companies should provide service to customers. Not treat them like idiots. After I told him I would contact his owner he said he was next door if I wanted to talk to him. By that answer I could tell the attitude at this place was probably set forth by the owner. Its a shame. It kind of ruined my day. Definitely has me in a bad mood. Now I have to call Pentair and explain what I had done previously since Mike didnt want to help.
Great people, great service!!! They went above and beyond in helping us when we had to drain our pool that had turned green. They guided us through pumping out all the water, cleaning, and refilling the pool. They explained how to replace an old leaky pool plug and replace the motor in our pump. If ever we have any questions, they are always there and eager to help. We so appreciate everyone at Crystal Pools!

I highly recommend using crystal pools when looking for any of your swimming pool needs. Someone from their company comes each week to take care of the little details on our pool to make sure it’s perfect leading up to summer. If we have any questions or concerns they are always so quick to respond. 5 star rating isn’t enough for this company! I won’t go anywhere else!!
Crystal Pools closed and opened our pool this season, I highly recommend their services. We have always done it ourselves in the past and never got the same outcome. Very professional and thorough. Will use them again!

Went to Crystal Pools to find a company to perform filter and salt processor overhaul. Another local company had come out the year before to go over the pool and make sure I was doing routine maintenance correctly. Tony at Crystal Pools was very informative. He explained much more in depth how to do the routine care, asked pertinent questions about my system and scheduled me for a thorough overhaul. Very pleased.
Crystal Pools is close by so we get our salt and chemicals there and have our water tested routinely. Theyve also repaired or replaced some of the equipment that came with our original pool install. Theyve always been polite and helpful and provided good service. Yeah, sometimes their equipment can be a bit pricey, but its that low-cost vs good service discussion. For some things Im willing to pay a little extra to get good service.
Great service and always extremely helpful staff. Never sell more than I need and have always made it easy for me to DIY our pool opening and closing.
I just visited Crystal Pools for the first time today and WOW!!! I was very impressed with the store as well as the staff. Mike and Tony introduces themselves to me and helped me tremendously. This store has everything you’ll need for your pool, from pool cleaners, full blown automation, water testing and chemicals all the way to floaties, wintering products, maintenance equipment and great customer service. The knowledge I gained from them in my short visit was very helpful and professional. If your in the area like I was, you should stop by and check them out. They have been in business for over twenty years and I see why. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in finding a new place to help you with your swimming pool/spa needs.

For 6 months now, I have been stopping in almost weekly to have my water tested. Being a first time pool owner who likes details means I ask questions every time Im in there. I appreciate that these guys are always super helpful with answering my questions regardless of how many I throw at them. Ive probably asked them the same questions more than once but they never seem annoyed or make me feel bad for having trouble getting it. They genuinely want to make sure I understand what needs to happen or is recommended 😊.We didnt have the most positive experience with the building process, so I appreciate that this company appears to make customer service in the store a priority. They are very helpful when it comes to getting your pool crystal clear....they are polite and always ready to help you out. They recommend what you need to get clean and not what they think it needs. I live far but the drive is worth it.
The employees are usually helpful in testing water and their solution to fix are spot on. Their products are way over-priced( the same products online are considerably cheaper). I cant remember names but the gentleman in the left office, if looking at the register has helped us numerous times is very kind and intelligent. The gentleman in the right office is a jerk. He is rude and when I complained about his rudeness I was told he was the owner.

I have never in my life been treated so rudely by any individual not to mention the owner of a company. All the staff were helpful and friendly but the owner, Tony, was horrible. He would not give me prices on his products without paying a consulting fee. Originally, I was excited to have a place to go near my work for all my lifetime of pool needs (we are building a pool). But after my experience, I will buy all my future pool products at a different facility. Oh, and I decided to buy all my immediate pool supplies ($5,000 worth) from a competitor. Big mistake, Tony!
I was very disappointed in the service I received today. It was my first visit to this pool store and I was in search of a pool vacuum. The guy that was called to help me (gray hair mullet style) seemed very bothered that he was called to help. He could have sold me a vacuum. But instead I felt uncomfortable. I was prepared to buy but decided I would buy it from someone who felt grateful for the business.

SERIOUS LACK OF COMMUNICATION: I called Crystal pools on June 4th to open our pool, they opened our pool two weeks later. We were at home but they didnt tell us when they left, nor lock our gate behind them, also didnt communicate with us about the condition of our pool (how it did through the winter). They set up a weekly pool cleaning with my husband while they were here. On July 6th I called them, as my pool was looking very dirty and was informed they didnt have us down for a weekly pool cleaning! I was told the person who set up appointments wasnt available but would call me back that day, never called back. The next day someone came to my house (unannounced, luckily I was there as our gate was locked), he measured and checked the pool, said he would contact me later today. The next day (now July 8th), I got an email saying they were at weekly capacity! Why bother sending someone out (in the rain) if they were already full? It is now almost two months into summer and I have to find someone else (most places fill up around April). I am very disappointed in the communication with us, as potential customers/customers and with each other.

Terrible job of updating my pool. Didnt last 4 months. Copping cracked and pulling away, paint didnt last. I was told at my expense theyd fix it. Wouldnt guarantee their work even six months.

Excellent job on pools
On August 1 2009 we went to this pool store to buy a new pump motor. We were told that it would cost $600.00 for a new motor and pump. We did not need the pump however the sales person told us that is the only way they come and that we cannot just order the motor. We then went over to Coral pool supplies and they sold us a new pump motor for only $235
