Had to give a shout out to Claire who had helped me resolve an issue with my battery. I was from out of town and because it was on a Sunday I had limited resources available. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help me get a new battery installed. People like her need to get the recognition they deserve. Kudos as well to the manager Manny who had to take over helping other customers while Claire was giving me assistance. Thank you Claire and Manny again for your patience and assistance.

When it comes to car parts they have always had what I was looking for. Wipers for one of my vehicles this time.

This is my go to Autozone. Great and helpful staff and a large variety of auto supplies and equipment. I have used thIs location multiple times and it always surprises me with how many random and useful items they have! Youll be surprised at what they have for your car with almost no matter on the year of the vehicle. I have needed parts for multiple parts for a few vehicles with varying years and makes. All in all, if you need parts for just about any car with friendly service, stop in!

Went in to grab refrigerant for my car because the AC wasn’t working. That didn’t do anything so I asked Manny for any suggestions. He had an idea of what the issue might be and recommended a few local shops. After taking into a shop, he was correct. The employees at this location are all friendly and helpful.

Today I went in to pick up some parts my husband needed to fix our truck. One gentleman was wearing his mask a chin diaper one not all one seemed to not understand anything the other was aggressively mean and tried to make me feel dumb. Then came Claire (she is the one and ONLY reason this review is a 5 star not a 1) I was ready to walk out and only ever shop at the competition for the rest of time. She interrupted the man who was making me cry took over and made everything right! She took the time to do things right and was so pleasent. I had bought several heavyweight items and she helped me carry them to my vehical so that I would not have to make multiple trips!! This is customer service at its finest! She wa AMAZING and she is the reason we will return. Thank you Claire for being an amazing person! Autozone do whatever you can to keep her and make her feel valued because she is 100% a person worth keeping!

Went to AutoZone today urgently needing antifreeze in our car. A kind gentleman named Maurice attended us. He went above and beyond to help us. Very pleased with our experience.

The workers here were incredibly hospitable right after my car sporadically stopped working in the same parking lot as their business. They were sweet to let me stay inside and call for a ride, offered services without being too pushy, and gave no attitude when I asked to leave my car there until I could come back. Such sweet people! And truly great service!

My daughters vehicle had an engine light flashing, and I advised her to swing into AutoZone knowing that their associates would be helpful in reading the Diagnostic issues. This is helpful to determine whether something is a possibility to tackle or head to the auto repair shop. Thank you for helping.... Recommended.

Stopped in because my check engine light came on. Store Manager, Emmanuel, was there on his day off and was heading out the door. Said he would help me before he left. Quick, prompt service!!!

I returned a pair of brake pads that had a lifetime warranty on them today. I gave the person the pads as well as the receipt. He tried to look it up and couldnt find the transaction, then he looked at the receipt and noticed that we had bought them in march. He stated and you are just now returning them. I said yes we bought them before the covid pandemic and you werent acceptiong returns at the time so they were in my wifes van and I forgot about them. He said well you should never wait this long to return them. I told him I would have returned them but I couldnt at the time. He asked if he could wait on a couple other customers behind me, I told him sure it was fine. He took care of the others and came back and he asked another employee about this and stated that I had bought them in march and was just now returning them. I again explained what happened. I didnt try to sneek something by or anything and the way this employee treated me is one reason why I see why my brother stopped using autozone. I would have returned the parts the next week but due to the unforseen situation that is still at hand I didnt. This customer service should never happen. Just thought you would like to know. This happened at the cottonwood location about 830AM on July 15, 2020.

As is typical AutoZone had the part I came in for, but then again I checked online to verify it was in stock. 👍I usually use AZ parts due to their warranty. I run my vehicles for hundreds of thousands of miles, so they keep things rolling...

Not a happy situation. I came in when there were 2-3 people ahead of me in line. They were served but it took some time and when it was my turn to get help (I wanted them to check my truck for the check engine light) I was told they were too busy to help me. It was a nice 20 minute wait to be told no. There are other stores to shop instead, why go to a store that does not want your business?

Most of the time they have good advice but they tested my motorcycle battery as bad. Something didnt set right so I went to a Kawasaki dealer who tested the battery good. The issue with my bike was a 30 amp fuse that wasnt in with the rest of the cluster of fuses v

My battery died and after I got a jump I went to AutoZone. Maurice helped me out he even put the battery in my van. He was a very sweet man and I would recommend going there the staff is friendly. 😀

Went to get my battery checked because my car kept dying, thought maybe it was the battery. a man very old man came out to check it said it was “good” BUT clearly it wasn’t since my car keeps having the same issue. Ended up at the holland location and got it fixed. Please hire people who know what theyre doing thanks

New to the area, long time Auto Zone customer.Over my past 8 interactions with this branch 6 have had issues.1: looked up part, pulled wrong part2: ordered parts, delivered incorrect part3: ordered part, got correct part, defective part4: phoned ahead, is this in stock; yes, have it right in back.....no, no you don’t5: took a half hour to checkout, training is training.....but now I’m on the clock!6: ordered special part: paid for part upfront.Arrived to get parts.....that order is canceled.What? Yeah, distribution canceled that order.So now I have no part, that card was charged.Not refunded, I had to file a fraud charge with the credit card company.Having been an autozone customer at successful branches, this is unusual, but this Jenison branch.....SUCKS.

This is the third time Ive received the wrong parts when purchasing from this location. The only reason I went back was because they were the only local auto store to have my parts in stock. They are not very knowledgeable, rude at times, and long periods of being on hold over the phone. Go to advanced auto right down the road. Much better service, and very knowledgeable staff!

If you have the specific make and model car, they can help. I asked them to cross reference a spark plug,. They had no clue how to do that. Its a little disappointing.

Auto Zone in Jenison is literally the GREATEST! I am new to the area and was driving around (just looking for a car wash to go threw since it was my cleaning day.) My tire completely popped as i was driving and came off the rim as I barely pulled into the AutoZone parking lot. I called them (because i was still wearing pajamas not planning to get out of my car.) My sick daughter was in the car too and it was Valentines Day too! Natasha answers the phone and I ask if they sell tires, she says no and I explain that Im outside and what happened. She comes right out and starts making calls, coming up with a plan. I had locked lug nuts and a couple factors that made the situation a little harder but she didnt give up and leave me hanging. She completely dedicated herself to the situation as if it was her own and helped me get it all figured out only paying $40 walking away. She knew my daughter was sick and would be rescheduling her birthday party because she had influenza so when we left, she gave her a happy birthday balloon and candy and told her happy birthday. She also gave me a rose and said she hopes my Valentines Day gets better and shes glad she could help. Seriously! This woman is incredible!Now fast forward to today, same tire was flat again. I had to call AutoZone to see if Natasha knew what tire shop I got the tire from because I needed to see if it was covered under warrenty. Once again, she sent someone out to where I was at, they took my tire back to the shop, then brought it back with a new tire on the rim and put it on for me. I paid $0 today!Out of all the places and the people i could have been, i am so glad it was that Auto Zone with someone who had a heart as beautiful and pure as hers. She goes above and beyond for people she comes across and i have never seen an employee care so much before about a customer whos in a situation that they could easily just say yeah that sucks but sorry we dont sell tires. And hang up. Thats what i was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised! Thanks Natasha! So much!

I have never had such a bad experience at a store and trust me I would remember if it was as bad as this one... I brought my battery into the store and they told me to wait in the back to test it, after waiting a half an hour I placed my battery by the alternator testing machine. I walked up to the store manager “Tina P” who was the most unpleasant person I have ever met, I stood at her counter for about 10 minutes while she gave a coworker her life story than she turned to me and said what!?! I said please test my battery it is in the back by the alternator machine, she said I don’t know what machine you are talking about and turned back around. Than another employee finally came over and offered to help. As long as I am working on my truck or anyone else’s vehicle I will never set my foot in an autozone again, used to be my go to auto part store but I also have a Napa right down the road. They now have my business.

More than once have had more than great service at this location and tonight again above and beyond just had to let you all know.

These people are very helpful when you dont know about cars and parts. They can diagnose things, help with batterys, tail lights, head lights...shall i go on?

The location is just like any auto zone but the employees were absolute trash crackheads around their customers. They just bickered aloud about how they hate their job and their supervisor. They made awful jokes about each other with filthy language in front of customers. They complained about their duties including changing a battery which is a service they provide. All while complaining about my car and then said my battery is good to go in the nicest manner like I never even heard their earlier conversation. Very rude and unprofessional.

Customer service is ok. Guy that helped with a vacuum hose had no idea what he was doing. Cut me the wrong size hose when I brought one in and then gave me the wrong clamps. He did however help to his abilities. Need people that know about car stuff.Just to clarify I needed a vacuum hose. They cut me a gas line to use s a vacuum hose. Usuable but not the proper part.Thought I would update my review. Today I went to autozone and they gave me the wrong rotor after thoroughly asking and making sure it was the proper one.As I took my car apart to realize it was different the guy at autozone insisted it was correct.I then went to oreilleys instead and got the correct rotors.I will not be going back to autozone. So unfortunate, used to be the best place to go.

Extremely helpful workers, they know exactly how to find what you need and will go out and help you figure things out in your car and install simple parts. They give good and complete information.

I know there is a process to run your store when the power is out. Why are you closed today? I ran an AZ in Flint when they didnt have power for 4 days. OReilly is open and operating with no power and they are getting a lot of business today.

This store is hit and miss. One day the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the next they are rude and clueless. This store is usually the store that helps me compared to the other two auto parts stores in Jenison/ Grandville but they are a 5 out of 10 rating in my several times in the store. This is the better auto parts store in Jenison but half the time I end up ordering what I need online. I hope this trend can change.

I am a sole proprietor with several vehicles. Business and personal. Every time I enter I have a pleasant greating. Even when I dont know exactly the name of the part. Usually they find what I need. Even parts for my 1963 belair. Two people stand out on service to my sometimes off the wall questions. Natasha and Emmanuel. They seem to always go above and beyond to make sure Im taken care of.Thanks for having these people avaliable to help.

Took 40 minutes to put in a new battery. They told me Id get 18$ back for my old battery, which I never got. They said I couldnt get that money because they put the battery in themselves, after saying they would put it in. After waiting 40 minutes later, I got no cash back for my old battery. I could have saved 18$ and 25 minutes having some place else install it. Disappointed with this particular Autozone.
