Eddie and the rest of the crew at MCW did an absolutely fantastic job refinishing the original hardwood floors in my 1910 Bungalow. There were 2 different wood types, damaged areas that had to be color matched, and a few other complexities to the job and Eddie handled them in stride. Hes an artist when it comes to matching new hardwood older materials.I will absolutely have MCW do my next flooring job!

We recently had MCW Wood Flooring install, sand, stain, and finish our (approx. 1k feet) first floor. We couldn’t be happier and the floors are stunningly beautiful. They finished ahead of schedule and under budget! The crew was small, professional, very clean, and very dedicated to making our floors look amazing. You don’t find that very often.We’ve had other hardwood companies from the Highlands and were so disappointed. It’s nice to have a job so we’ll done!

Eddie & his crew did a great job refinishing the original 1950s wood floors in my house. I knew the floors would be improved, but they look amazing. The damage there before from pets, wear, etc. is gone. He and his staff were very professional, and I would definitely use them again in the future.

We had hardwood floor in our master bedroom covered by wall-to-wall carpeting. Eddie and his crew removed all the furniture and cleared out the rug very quickly. His work on sanding and refinishing the new floor was outstanding. Since the room was on the 2nd floor of our house, he was very careful with his equipment and tools as he went up & down the stairs.He was always very polite, courteous, and cleaned up after each visit. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing this service. The floor looks so good that I am planning on MCW Wood doing more work on our other hardwood floors! Excellent Job!

Excellent value for all that work. We had them refinish the floors and tint stain the spots. They worked quite hard 2 days sanding away with good attention to details.Would definitely recommend them to all and will consider them again for the rentals.

Fantastic experience with Eddie. We moved into an old (~100) year old house that had the original wood floors under the floating laminate and carpet that were in the house when we bought it. After multiple estimates from other companies, Eddie gave us an estimate that was not only 3000-4000 dollars cheaper than other companies, but from the moment he spoke to us it was easy to see that he was truly a craftsman that valued his work and enjoyed his job. The work he completed in the house was outstanding, and he was in constant contact with us to ensure we were happy with the finished product. Eddie recently made a repair for us after a furniture company damaged a small section of floor, and again, we were ecstatic with the finished product. He doesnt just come in and try to finish a job as quickly as possible. Eddie made multiple return visits to ensure the repairs matched identically to the previously finished floor and that the colors and finish flowed together properly.All in all a VERY talented man that is extremely knowledgeable about his craft and seems to enjoy every second of it. I would not hesitate to use him again and will recommend him over and over to friends and family.

Eddie and his crew installed a new maple floor in my home office. He arrived promptly, did a beautiful job, and always had a smile and a story. We are planning an addition, and will definitely be calling him again.

My experience with MCW Flooring was not the best and in hindsight, I wish I had hired someone else for the job. Though they got the job done, my husband took 2 days off of work when they’d promised him they’d meet him at the house and they didn’t show. This caused him to needlessly miss work and we also had to push our move-in date back, which caused significant schedule issues with the moving company. The quality of their work is adequate. However, small patches were not appropriately buffed out, which can be easily seen with flecks from our freshly painted walls clearly sealed under polyurethane. Some areas of the floor were also unevenly buffed and though the team likely cleaned up a bit after themselves, there was an awful amount of dust left behind. Eddie was a very kind gentleman and communications with him were professional, but the overall work and lack of punctuality left much to be desired.

The Churchs kitchen floor needed a serious makeover so this company was recommended by one of our members. Come next Sunday job was done detailed and professionally done. Blessings Jim DougartThank you Mr Ed for your well done job!

How about an F+. Eddie Mata is not trustworthy when it comes to his business commitments. He accepted a job from me to refinish the first floor of my home. I was given 2 dates as to when he would start and was a no show, a no call, a no explanation. For a working person to make the time to meet a contractor, work around his schedule in order to have other work done and for them not to keep their commitment is not something you need to go through. I would advise anyone not to use Eddie. If you do and you have the rooms or the homes furnishings in storage, and he does not show up, now what. If a person has this as part of their ethical structure, I would not believe that they did what they said they did, unless I saw them do it.....ie: three top coats of finish. He was given complete access to come and go, and now I am glad he did not. Cant trust him. Be warned and avoid the aggravation.

Called to get a quote finish my floors, because it wasn’t a big job he wasn’t interested in helping. I’m in the army and had my wife call to see if he could finish the job that I had started before going on orders and wouldn’t even hear her out.

Eddie is an amazing floor refinisher. I have now used his services at 2 of my homes and have been THRILLED with the results.Not only do I love the way my floors look, I love working with Eddie. He is kind, soft spoken and a pleasure to do business with. which is hard in the industry of remodeling! On my last remodel, I even had him mix 2 stains together, which I read about on Pinterest. It looked awesome! I have recommended him to other friends and they have priced him against others and he is far less expensive than the competition as well. Eddie is a no-brainer when I have a property that needs a Floor refinish.

I contracted him to refinish my hardwood floors. His crew was unprofessional and inappropriate with my wife. The work was rather sloppy, with uneven areas in the polyurethane. He also left dust all over my home without cleaning it up. It took days to clean.
