Weve used nearly every provider in Louisville and EcoTech is by far the best. Others would just skip houses on our street for no reason and customer service was a joke, but not EcoTech. They pick up every scheduled day, whenever Ive had to call about a billing issue or when we moved we spoke to very kind representatives.

ZERO STARS - CALL ANOTHER COMPANY,Our driver missed our pick up days 3 weeks in a row and pick up day is Friday. I’m an understanding person and that’s why I waited 3 times to call. So I called the following Monday after the third pick up was not completed on time to see what the issue was. I was given no explanation, and was told the driver would be at my house the next day. Tuesday came and no pick up. I called Wednesday and was given no reason and was forwarded to the drivers supervisor who was also not in the office. This company provides the worse service, lacks professionalism, and integrity. I was told a lie and there was no accountability for that lie. I am recommending people to call another company like Blevins who’s is cheaper anyways.

I am forced to give a one star rating, because there is no lesser option. This is the absolute WORST establishment in the history of the trash industry. The owners (Matt and Bobby Lee) are 2 of the most incompetent, vile creatures (I cannot even call them humans) on the face of the earth. They talk to their employees as if they are animals, and they treat their management even worse. I have never been one to write reviews on companies, but this had to be said. Neither of them know anything about professionalism or respect. There is a reason that this company has such a high turn over rate for employees. Nobody wants to work for them due to how they are treated on a daily basis; and for those that do work for them, they are out of options. It is a last resort. Many people refer to this company as the rejects of the trash industry, and no truer words have ever been spoken. This company will always be the reject because it is ran by the 2 biggest rejects on the face of the planet. They dont know the first thing about customer satisfaction, nor do they care to know anything about it. I am guessing the steroid use has went to their egos rather than their bodies.

Trucks keep driving 3 feet into my yard. After filing a complaint, their safety rep came out unannounced to my home and denied the issue because he couldn’t positively identify the tire tread as matching their truck tires (I have now installed cameras for future reference). Instead of fixing the issue, it was made to look as if we, the homeowners, are somehow in the wrong. Excited about catching them in the act; the excitement is why I gave two stars instead of their usual one star (I love the entertainment factor).

I called Eco Tech because I had an incident with one of the garbage trucks that I felt needed to be reported. I was driving on Poindexter in Sellersburg, when one of their trucks decided to use the entire middle of the road and not bother to move over, which caused me to drive off the road. Luckily, I didn’t hit anything or become stuck since I had my 2 year old daughter in the vehicle. When I called and spoke to the woman on the phone, she didn’t seem to be concerned and conveniently there wasn’t a supervisor available. I was transferred to a safety supervisor, which I left a voicemail and haven’t heard back from “Larry”. From reading these reviews, the people that work here clearly do not care about other people’s property or safety. They may have taking the incident more seriously since it was a company vehicle I was In was damaged or my child had been hurt.

I know people have there opinions but this family owned company is good! The people that work there have stressful days and moments, everybody is not perfect but they are great and some people can be butt hurt and talk about them, but Bobby Lee and Matt Lee are great people and they will do anything for there workers so. But I would recommend them!

I have left 5 separate voicemails and call back weekly. After 5 weeks I still have yet to receive a call back. Not to mention the driver leaves my gate WIDE open whenever they pickup, after it was their idea to put a lock on the gate so the driver could enter and exit. Incompetence is throught the roof. They are only a few dollars cheaper than the competition. Take my advice, STAY AWAY.

The driver on my route is rude disrespectful and decided to tell me he did not give a F... that I had him on a recording showing him through my can in the air into the yard. This is after they did not pick up the trash last week and the reason they did this was I was watching. I called and Jeremy the person answered the phone acted like it was no big deal and only after I had to ask 4 times did he pass me onto his supervisor. Heather was polite and did express concern. She did tell me that she would address the issue. In the future I will have the trash removal on my security camera.

As an independent and long-term vendor for ecotech, I have known the owners for many years and have benefited greatly from my work with them since they were a little outfit on Dixie Highway. Bob, Matt & Bobby are extremely hard-working men who have grown this company to become an impressive service provider to many communities and employer of many people in Indiana and Kentucky.From a vendor standpoint, Ive watched them grow, innovate, adapt and repeat. They keep me busy and they pay their bills. They are reasonable and fair. Bryan and the sales guys work very hard, as do all the drivers, tippers, mechanics and customer service. Many of them do very difficult, uncomfortable work, in truly hideous conditions and much of it at stupid oclock!For over 15 years Ive been in a position to see ecotech all the way from the street to the presidents office. Ive watched cooperation, safety, communication and employee appreciation and development on many levels. They are not perfect. But they care about each other, their customers and the community.

For the fourth time in as many months, they have failed to pick up our trash, even though it was sat out on the curb the night before. We left it out for the entire day on Friday and part of the day on Saturday, never showed. When I called the first time it happened, they tried to tell me it was not sitting out, which was a lie as we ALWAYS have it out the night before, I saw it at the curb when I left for work at 5:30 a.m. I will be canceling my services, going with another more reputable company, and will be sure to tell my friends not to do business with them either.

I live in Louisville and they have missed my trash 3 weeks in a row. I havent seen anything like it. The lady that answers the phone is nice as can be but I feel like shes giving me the runarounds now. I want a refund.

I have been dealing with this company for 3-4 months now. There driver keeps putting the dumpster 3-6 inches from the cars in the lot. I have called and complained about it but they ignore all attempts to make things right. AVOID Them if you can.

Called On a Monday to have brush and many bags of leaves removed. Wednesday morning Ecotech was there picking up. Thanks for the quick and good service. Cleaned up the area well.

Ive never written a review before. I feel compelled to do so to alert others about the EXTREMELY POOR AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE from Ecotech. This is the FOURTH time a collector has taken a labeled recycle bin or the lid that goes with it. I have WATCHED them do it in the past. When I call to ask for a replacement, the reply is, Our drivers wouldnt do that. Well they did and they DO. Instead of trying to work with me (the customer), she dismisses my concerns and says, ...theres nothing we can do about it. She is also argumentative. If I owned this business, I would be terribly concerned. If you have a choice, DO NOT USE ECOTECH.To the Rumseys below...Im not looking for perfection. Im looking for a business that will serve their (not THERE) customers with respect and fix things when they go wrong.

Eco-Tec drivers are some of the politest, courteous and consistently go out of their way for their customers. We also receive a community discount because the most of the neighborhood uses eco- tech. Job well done, thank you

Great service all the way up to the time they decided I wasnt worth their while... they cancelled my service with less than a weeks notice - now I am scrambling to find another company.

Several times a year they consistently dont pick up my trash or my neighbors. Our pick up is in an alley, which they sometimes forget about.This week I called and asked if they picked up furniture. I was told that they would. On pick up day, the workers refused. When I call customer service, there is an excuse, or they are typically rude.

Well where do I start first you pay for your garbage everytime the bill comes in faithfully, then get charged extra to pick stuff up like a couch bed ECT, 13 bucks not bad its better then 60 and all the time spent cleaning looking for stuff to make your 60 bucks to the dump stretch,so you pay the 13 bucks but your couch is still sitting outside at the curb a week later and you also call and they say we will call you back to let you know when we will be back to get it,so you call everyday for over a week and no body gets with you nor picks up the garbage what a joke if you ask me I should get something in return

I honestly have no idea why such the low rating for this company. We’ve had them for years and not one single time have we had an issue. Even moreso recently Republic offered is pickup for half the cost of EcoTec and other trash companies so I signed up but had not cancelled. Glad I didn’t! Republic left trash everywhere, cans tumped over, no regard for where the cans are left. Called Republic and waited 20 mins to report issues. So in 3 weeks I cancelled my new service with Republic and was thankful I still had EcoTec around! I would recommend EcoTec to anyone.

Absolutely the worst company!!! They refuse to pick up my trash and the driver cussed me out because I had carpet sitting out for pick up and according to him, it was going to be my fault for him having to work overtime that day. He threw my trash can in my yard as hard as he could when I went to reach for it. Absolutely the worst Ive ever seen!!!

We sat out some yard waste bags for pick up. They sat there through different trash pick ups and they never got them. Also sat out some sticks that they didnt take either. Called and spoke to the receptionist and she said the sticks need to be in a yard waste bag (although theyve picked up our neighbors and they were not in the bag) and she didnt know why they didnt take the other bags. I called back 2 more times to make sure they took them. Came home yesterday and theyd finally taken the bags with the sticks and left the first 3 bags we sat out almost 4 weeks ago. Horrible service, New Albany needs a new company that can actually do their jobs.

My husband worked there for about 3 months until the tanker the company instructed him to overfill turned over. He was of course blammed and let go. We are in the process of filing with DOT, the State Attorney Office and notifiying city officials. BEWARE!

Daniel and James are the best, they are very considerate and if things are dropped, they take time to clean up.

They missed 2 weeks of trash pick up not only myself but several people. They are contracted with our town and we are charged monthly with no choice to get our own trash co. I submitted the camera video of the guys refusing to pick up our trash (took 3 bags) also one giving us the finger. After having to contact the company main person Matt, he was very rude. Keep in mind I should have never had to contact them since the town has the contract! I let him know that I was a veteran and does not get benefits and should be getting services paid for, he said he didnt care, not his prob. and continued to put my service down! After the 3rd week a man from our town had to follow their truck to make sure that they were picking up peoples trash. This company is a joke! If anyone else has this issue please send me an email

They didnt pick up all of garbage at my street today. Half of have picked and remains the rest of garbage on street. I called customer service and complained about it however they are laziest and rude.

Very upset about my trash not being picked up. My pick up day is Friday,my trash been sitting out in the heat from Thursday morning.!!!!!.About time I made it home around 6:30 pm Friday, I seen my trash was still in the trash cans,well eco tech was closed and havent been able to get in touch with anyone.I looked around the corner and noticed that someone else trash didnt get picked up either. This is very sad and very unprofessional service. Im extremely disappointed in the way this company has operated these few years been with you all for 11 years...

Called for small limbs pickup the last week of July. Have called three times with different reasons why it had not been done. Finally removed the limbs myself last night August 28 - 5 weeks after first call. Very disappointed in their service. If they were not going to pick up I would rather be told so my grass doesn’t have to die and be an eyesore for my neighbors.

Employees neglect to put garbage cans back where they belong (not in roadway).. VP is rude also doesnt know when to take responsibility for damage caused by employee neglect.
