I started coming here a few months ago after moving to Jeff. The shop had high ratings on some other site so I thought Id give it a try. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Im always very anxious when Im in a new area and have to find a barber because of the kind of discrimination and humiliation Ive endured in the past from other barbers. Id like to point out how friendly and welcoming the staff are at The Clipper. Gena is now my go-to barber.Shes got some great stories to share while giving me a haircut and is always efficient. Her haircuts are exactly what Im looking for and I leave satisfied each time. Great shop, great staff, and great service!

First of all, I made an appointment online and showed up couple of minutes before. Unfortunately I was 24 hours early (my mistake).My first time here and Tiffany had an open spot, who I was booked for already and took care of me right away.Service was amazing and I was shocked at how low the price was compared to haircuts I have gotten at other places.Was clean and a small local business. Highly recommend. $15 for a mens haircut is amazing.My to go place from now on...

This is a nice small family owned barbershop with a ton of comfort and character and service. Gina is Super friendly and is a 5 Star Barber. She makes you feel like a lifelong friend and gives a million dollar haircut for under $20.

Simply put, its the best place to grab a cut in the area!The Clipper is located in downtown Jeff, only a few minutes off the interstate. Located only a block from the walking bridge, and with some of the best restaurants in the area next door (quite literally), the shop fits in perfectly with the downtown revitalization.The barbers there are great and take their time involving you in your cut and style, and offering advice on products and how to play to the way your hair naturally flows. Ive brought my five year old several times, and immediately the TV is changed to cartoons. Cam even answers his endless questions on why daddy is wearing a cape! Its unbelievable to me I ever went to any of these chain shops that have new barbers every week when, for the same low price, I couldve been getting a professional cut in a comfortable place.The Clipper, through its location and superb staff, turn getting a hair cut from a rushed affair into an afternoon of a cut, dinner, and a walk on the bridge. I highly recommend you come see how great you can look when someone cares about their work!

The new owner is doing his best to make the place look nice. I never want to go anywhere else to get my hair cut. Go there and tell them I sent ya!

Overall an OK haircut. However, they cut areas of my hair that I didnt ask for. They just decided to trim areas by my forehead, which resulted in an awkward cut. They also dont let you see how the cut progress, since you are not sitting facing the mirror. Weird. You are either pleasantly or unpleasantly surprised when its all done. I dont think I will try this place again, unless its the only option around.

I found the Clipper right next to my wifes favorite stores, they were able to work me in as a walk in while my wife shopped locally (which got me out of shopping a few minutes) I was very happy with my haircut, and recommend all my friends to come here now. They offer great prices and friendly service, not to mention walking distance from so many great stores, it is more than convenient.

I was a first time customer and walked in at 5:20 (they close at 6:00) and was greeted with that we can not cut your hair today. The reason why was because there is one person in front of you and one in the chair. I look in the seat waiting and there is a lady. I know women take a little more time so no problem. What i find out it is her son who is getting a quick trim and had been in the shop earlier that week.The really reason was a beard trim that they said they could still do....but after how i was treat by Kam (we are closed at 5:20) and the owner who thought it was OK to yell at Kam and me for voicing my bad review on google.
