So, Im in the Louisville area and the battery of my MINI was dead as dead could get. Not only could I not get my engine started, but I could barely get the power on to turn it in neutral. The tow guy had to help me and he was super patient and helpful (recommended by Mike Johns Imports). I spoke with Jake the majority of the time and he was so helpful and kind with me and my situation. They were able to replace the battery and fix a few more possible issues in a timely manner and it wasnt super expensive. They definitely took the anxiety out of the experience, haha. XD Now my car is running great!

I took my M Roadster to Mike Johns Imports when the oil pump nut backed off and nearly killed the engine. Our family has owned BMWs for decades and always had service at the dealership. However, after they were unable to track down an annoying noise in the wheels we took our 328 to Mike Johns. Not only were they able to find the cause, they reassured us it was not serious and only charged a reasonable diagnostic fee. MJs also did a superb job of wheel alignment, tire replacement and balancing. They provided a loaner at no charge! Great guys to deal with!

My experience was terrible. I left my car with them it took 7 days to get back. A tow truck hit my car while it was on their care. My car was wrecked and smoking when they gave it back. My side light was on the floor and they cut a piece of my bumper off. For what I don’t know.

As usual they did a wonderful job on my vehicle with being informative and Expedient in time. I initially felt the price for the part was somewhat inflated but once it was explained and I recognized the increase in performance of my engine all doubt was immediately erased. I’ve always trusted these guys in the past and even more so now. My vehicle is an 09’ 528i and was having a low battery issue. Turned out to be a sensor that had the engine and alternator not running at full power. But not anymore!!! The increase in power and smoothness of the engine is nothing less than remarkable!!!!Thanks guys!Demetrius

These guys are on point with their knowledge, but more importantly, their integrity. I’ve got an E46 with 220k on the clock, so I’ve spent a few dimes here and there at MJI, but my car runs like a dream. I can turn a wrench on it as well, so they don’t have a problem giving me a part number so I can continue to do that when I have the desire. If there’s not a ‘loaner’ car available, they’ll chauffeur me where I work and back, and it’s a good time to ride and talk with another person who has a passion with these cars. Dave of Mike Johns Imports fixed my mini convertible top in one day. No it wasn’t just the boot lid switch either! This was a complex situation that should be left up to a shop that specializes in Minis/ BMWs. Also he was the only one to discover a vacuum leak causing an intermittent idling problem. As a former restorer (body/paint) of imports I will attest to all of the things that makes them superb! As a result I’m keeping the mini. I bought a 2015 BMW 328i because I loved the car. What I didn’t like was all the buzz I was hearing about how much upkeep was going to cost. I researched local services in Southern Indiana and found Mike John Imports. Their service rates are reasonable and their customer service has been wonderful and easy. I have had oil changes, a warranty inspection and recently tires with alignment done on my all-wheel drive vehicle and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the rates and service. They fit me in pretty quickly, the times that I have scheduled appointments, and complete the service in reasonable time. The gentlemen are helpful and able to answer any questions that I have had. Very pleased with these guys. Had my 2011 M3 worked on and they were spot on with the diagnosis and repair. Also impressed with Adam, Robert and David the mechanic that worked on my car. We had a little hiccup along the way that lead to another issue that was found, however they were quick to diagnose and repair that issue as well and went the extra effort to ensure that all problems were resolved before returning my vehicle to me. I had them do an inspection of my BMW and replace the rear shocks with parts I provided. with the inspection they show me the problems on the car and in detail explained to me what they where. they wrote an estimate on the cost and recommended which one get done first. will be visiting again just for great customer service.

These guys are fantastic. My sons mini countryman had a transaxle issue. Adam searched all across the country and was able to find a gently used replacement for a fraction of the cost I have a new one. He had it in a couple of days and made the repairs the next day. Saved us a lot of money and the countrymen runs great. They followed up with us a couple weeks later to make sure everything was OK. They really understand customer service at Mike John’s.

They serviced my Mini Cooper. Had great communication. Very fast on diagnosis and fixing it. Price was pretty high, but I am not sure if that is just BMW prices or they truly were higher than other places at pricing. Four stars only due to price.

This is by far the best place to take a BMW. I have had extensive work done on my older model 325 CI and they have not only done great work, but they have been very reasonable and honest regarding pricing and what has to be done now and what can wait and be done later.
