I bring my BMW to M & B. The business is affordable and convenient. The work is done well and the staff are friendly and honest. I have been a client for some time and have had several cars serviced.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! He never gave me a quote in which I should’ve known better. He doubled the prices for all of the parts on my van and the labor prices were outrageous. I took his paperwork to another mechanic and he not only said he’s known for overcharging but that the job should’ve been way less. Not to mention he took forever to complete the job

If they cant buy the parts they wont fix no room for the customer to cut his own cost

I brought my Mercedes Benz in because a warning light came on. The warning said the car is too low. A friend recommended M&B, it was a great decision. Mike was very knowledgeable. He explained what was wrong with my car and how he would repair it. Mike is honest and his prices are reasonable. My repair was done in a timely manner, by Mike and his professional staff. Thanks Mike for making this a great experience. The dealership wanted to charge me double the price. Thanks for you honesty and not taking advantage of a female customer with very little knowledge of auto mechanics. I will gladly bring my car back to your shop for any repairs needed.

I had a great experience at M&B Auto. Mike did extensive engine repairs on my Mercedes in a very timely manner with a very reasonable price. The customer service is great and Mike will do whatever he can to make you have a good experience! Would definitely recommend M&B.

While I was out of town, my wife hired a tow company to tow our car to M and B. Mike(the owner) paid the tow company without her permission then doubled the charge to her. on his invoice He racked up labor charges yet never gave a diagnosis. nor explanation of what he found. He never gave her an estimate. He would not accept Visa nor a check and said it had to be cash. He threatened to charge her over $20 a day extra as a bully way to get her to pay his outrageous bill yet there was no sign in his office that stated this warning which is required by law. He threatened to put a lien on our car and sell it. He kicked out the attorney she had to hire to get our car back. Finally, our attorney called the sheriff ; he then adjusted his bill and she was able to get our car back. This was a horrific experience for her. He thought he could take advantage and didnt back down until the sheriff was called in.

I brought in my Mercedes Sprinter to several shops in the city that work on Mercedes but only one other person besides Mike was able to tell me what was wrong and how to fix it. M&Bs was a more reasonable price and Mike just had a better personality than the other shop. My van is running great now. Definitely recommend and will be coming back if I need anything done!

I have a 2003 e 500 sport that was cutting off without warning. I brought the car to M&B auto repair shop where I met the owner Mike. After explaining my situation, he asked me to leave the car so he could check it out. He and his staff was very professional and knowledgeable. The next day Mike called me to pick up the car. He diagnosed and solved the problem that was causing the car to kill. Wow!! what a relief I thought now my wife didn’t have to worry about the vehicle stalling as she cross the street risking getting hit. His price was very fair and reasonable. He explained everything he did to the car. Mike is a very honest and respectable guy. Oh by the way, this isn’t the first time Mike has worked on my car and every time before that he has been pleasant to deal with and easy to talk to. Thanks again Mike you pulled me out of another jam as you have done in the past. His prices are a lot cheaper than the dealer and he doesn’t charge you for somethingu he didn’t touch. If you are looking for a good, honest, dependable shop to bring your car I highly recommend M&B automotive repair. I can assure you won’t be disappointed nor will leave there broke. So far so good, car runs great. Mike was very helpful. Major repairs done on BMW 740i for thousands less than the dealer. They know BMW engines repair, especially the N54 inline 6.

Mike does a great job and is a true professional with his workmanship. We’ve brought various cars to him and he’s always taken good care of the cars. He’s very straightforward and is reasonably priced. He’s a pleasure to speak with.

I would not recommend him at all......I took my Mercedes s550 for a rear speed sensor issue and I knew that was the problem after he diagnosed it he said that we would have to change the rear speed sensor which he did, I go pick up the car and as soon as I left the error came up again so I went right back to the shop then he tried to convince me that the esp module was bad and that it would cost $1600 to fix which I didnt buy, I took my car like a champ and went to another mechanic and sure enough the speed sensor he installed was no good he had the nerve to lie and say that it costs $220 dollars for the sensor which it really is $90 from the dealership, we changed the sensor and everything went great, DONT WAIST YOUR TIME GO TO SOMEONE HONEST AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, I called Mike and told him what happened and he said he would exchange the sensor ..... whats the point when I already have a warranty on the one I installed this review costed me $380 for repairs never done and thanks God he didnt change the Esp module or it would have costed thousands.......I was there July, 10, 2019 Black s550

At first this shop seemed great, Mike the owner is very charismatic. When we had talked the day before pick-up, never did he indicate there were any issues. When I drove to pick the car up he tried to charge me an additional $135, claiming that the insurance company had not given him the money even though he submitted the paper work a week prior. When I talked to the insurance company they stated they had not received any paper work. Normally I would say thats a lazy part on the insurance company but there is no excuse for trying to make the customer pay for it. He should have told me about it PRIOR to me driving out to pick up the car, which just so happened to be a 3 hour drive since Im from out of town. He knew this and still had me come out.Side notes, even with waiting on parts this was a 14-day job. It took him 30 days. Save your self money and a headache, take one more minute to find another shop on google. No reviews is better than BAD reviews.

I went to the dealership and got a quote to fix my car and the quote was expensive. I then went to another mechanic shop in Metairie that specialized in foreign vehicles and this shop wasnt too friendly and the quote was also high. I then went to M and Bs auto to get an estimate. I was greeted with very friendly staff and the estimate was way less than the dealer and the other shop I went to. My car now works great. I also got my oil changed while I was there. Will be back!

I have never delt with any business that was so unprofessional in my life. I brought my car to M&B with the understanding that my vehicle would be repaired unfortunately that was not the case. I was charged for a part that never fixed the problem, when I went to drive the car it cut off again, and after speaking with Mike he wanted me to pay for towing back to the shop. I finally got it back to shop where it didnt start, he claimed it was another part and wanted to charge me again. I became so frustrated I had to have the car towed to another shop to be repaired. If you care about your car DONT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BRING YOUR CAR HERE.

After having my car serviced at the BMW Dealership in town since I bought it, it developed a leak. They fixed it and one other smaller problem to the tune of $1000+, and informed me that I needed another $3000+ worth of work. I took my car to M&B and they fixed everything that I was told was wrong plus discovered a major problem that was missed by the other place. All work was done in a timely and reasonably priced manner. Needless to say, I will no longer be using the local dealership but instead real mechanics who know their jobs and dont depend on a computer to diagnose. Thank you, M&B!

It was fantastic, had my Porsche fixed there, price was Exactly as estimate and work was done quicker than anticipated and may cheaper than dealership.

My daughter took her car to this so called auto shop he took her good battery out of her car and replaced it with a old one thinking she would not notice had to purchase a new one from Auto Zone even he said the battery looks like its been sitting on the ground it was all dirty she will never do business there again

Good mechanics and the owner knows a lot about all foreign vehicles. Very straight forward and to the point.

BEWARE of this shop, brought my 323i in after an online search because it would not start. Was the worse experience I have had with a auto repair shop in my 61 years on this earth. Dont be fooled by the owner Mike Alamis like-able appearance. DONOT authorize any work without an itemized estimate of repair. If you authorize work by signing that form he has without it YOU ARE AT HIS MERCY. I had to call the police to get the matter resolved and get my car. BEWARE.

I regret going to M & Bs. It was the worst experience I ever had. If you do not want to waiste your time and money do not bring your car to this place. Also the free estimate is a scam they took 5 days to give me an estimate and charge me $250 for it. When I went to check on my car, the mechanics were standing around or watching TV. When I called to check on my car the owner, Mike sounded like he was sleeping. I never, to this day, got to see the owner. Only yelled at me over the phone after I told him 5 days was too long for an estimate. I waited to get my car out to leave this review because I was afraid they would do something to my car. I regret bringing my car to M & B.
