Very quaint hidden gem. Beautiful lake with a rock island. Really cool. Water clear with boat dock. Playground for kids Henderson beach reservations cancelled due to tropical storm. Needed other reservations quickly. Owners very nice and accommodating. RV lots and cabins available

I rented a small cabin for four nights. Very quiet campground. Very pretty lake with easy access for boating or swimming. Also convenient to nearby towns, including Jasper.

This was a very nice place. We had a wonderful place to celebrate my boyfriend 70th birthday. His whole family was there. Cabins were clean and comfortable. The water front made it nice to swim and tubing. The people there were very nice. Will stay there again

We have stayed here over a month... quiet park, beautiful views... well kept!! They have the best WiFi of any parks we have been in.....Charlie and Junior are amazing and always helpful!! I can’t forget Fred the Campground Host!! Truly a great place on Lake Smith!! The whole Lakeshore family is awesome!!

My wife and I spent one night there as we were passing through the area. It is a trek off of highway 22 but a scenic drive. Pleasant place, lovely setting on the lake but the few RV spots look like mostly more long time RVers. NO public showers or bathrooms. As noted by others good wifi.

Nice quiet little spot. We stayed there on our way through. There is access to the lake and we even caught a fish! I had to back quite a ways when leaving in order to maneuver my 40ft Class A motorhome out, but the drive was wide enough.

Not terrible. We were warned about the dogs, and they were definitely an issue. No room around the camper ir your there for fun. It would be a good place to leave a camper I guess for long term. But not much there for the younger generation. Very nice people around though and great spot on the lake for fishing.

1.place was flooded 2.cabin had no bunk beds ( when you said they did)3.bathroom sink was stopped up.4.the toilet had mold in it. 5.the kitchen sink was dirty and had a used dirty sponge laying on it. 6.the floor hadnt been swept. 7.kids park was flooded (I ask about the park and the flooding )they said no flooding and yes we have a nice kids park. 8.the WiFi it went in and out constantly ( we have Great wifi) 9.you charged me $35 up for cleaning fee and my cabin wasnt clean when I got here????? 10. My girls had to sleep on a futon that was worn out and smelled bad. Who rents a cabin with a futon to sleep on. Hell I couldnt sit on it to even watch tv it was so bad .So no I wont be back and wouldnt recommend it to anyone BE HONEST PEOPLE

Me and my wife were having some MAJOR problems in our relationship and we were just on tha brink of being over for good and we decided to go rent a cabin and try to find tha person each other fell in love with 4 years ago. Well never forget cabin #3. That place saved our relationship and well never forget that. Well always come back and stay every chance we get =)

Great place to camp if your in Alabama!!! We came from Michigan.. and this place has great cabins, best view! Wonderful clean water lake ! And the owners show southern hospitality! We will be back for sure ! Very private and pretty ❤️❤️

Nice and quiet. I have bad knees so walking down the hill to the lake was difficult. The campground is well kept and the owners are nice. There is not a lot of room between campsites. 10 feet at the most. The cabins looked nice and are alot closer to the lake. Rates are reasonable.

The ABSOLUTE Best place we have ever parked our RV!! The owners are awesome, incredibly nice, and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!! Worth the money and grateful for my time and the friendships I have made!

Me and my husband are staying in a cabin while we wait for our house to close. The cabins are very nice and clean. They are pet friendly with no pet fee which is nice. The cabin has wifi a microwave and a mini fridge. Its cheaper than any pet friendly hotel in the area (weekly)and its by the lake. We brought our kayaks and swim in the lake. Its very beautiful quiet and peaceful. Glad we found this place!

Was very quaint. Had a good neighbor thanks for the Tomatoes again. Beautiful area. Would be very adaquate for one family but a larger group is cramped on some lots. Owner was very friendly. Would recommend smaller gravel for lots. Other than that great place for camping.

Beautiful place to stay. Not a lot of places to stop on I22 so we drove over here for the night. Owners very nice and accommodating. We will make this a destination on our next trip this direction and stay a while to enjoy the lake and the quiet

They have Internet TV but you have to have subscriptions to the apps offered, there are a couple of channels you can watch free. The cabins are ok but the stairs going into the cabins are steep. They have 5 cabins, all but 1 are pet friendly. Their camper sites seem fine. May or may not return.

The place was nice and clean but evidently the owners let there dogs run free. You’r garbage isn’t safe and if you try to relax you have to shu strange dogs off. Also spaces are cramped.

We loved staying here. After a long exciting two days at Stine Mountain, we were ready for a peaceful quiet retreat and got it here! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful and Charlie the owner is great! There isnt much in the way if restaurants or entertainment nearby if you are looking for that, but the hiking in the area is awesome!!!

Stayed at this RV park for 2 weeks. Had a fantastic stay. Very peaceful and quiet campground. Great views of the lake. The property is family owned and maintained. The grounds are clean and orderly. This facility has a very nice boat ramp and children playground. Great fishing. Would highly recommend and will visit again. Two thumbs up.

Last minute accommodations and well worth it! Beautiful lake...sweet dogs visited us...clean and working A/C! One of our favorite stops along the way!

We stayed one night in a 32 ft. 5th wheel. The lake is beautiful. Our site was very difficult to get into as it was on a narrow, one lane drive with the owners car and 2 utility trailers parked across from our site. It made the lane even more narrow to manuver. Those should not be parked there. They need to be put somewhere else. There were 6 dogs running freely on and around the property. One came out of the house across from us and the others behind us. The barking started at 5 am.We had a dog but could barely walk her. Leash law or not, that is a private property and the owner has a legal right to not have straying animals on their property. If it were my property and business, I would do something about it for the sake of the quality of my buiness. They may be friendly/annoying dogs, but if THEY are attacked by a visiting dog, you could be liable for vet/medical bills because it is on your property.We were not comfortable at this site. Barely space between and picnic table that is right under the next RV windows. Full sun. Dog poo in our space. We do not recommend. Nice people does not equate with good service.

Nice little campground. Improvements are ongoing. However, IF you have a trailer:1) The trailer sites are rock and can be set high. The appear to be more for the more permanent RV’er.2) Sewer connections may or may not be higher than your trailer drain.The dogs were very friendly and wanted to play.There will be an area for picnics and a playground. There also appears to be a small boat ramp good enough for canoes, jon boats, and kayaks.Not really a lot of open spaces for RV’ers passing through.

The Owner & his Family is awesome to be a guest of. Its quiet and peaceful here, with a Family Atmosphere.

Price ok.We are avid campers. We follow rules and respect the grounds. They state they have policy on pets Being on leash. And owners cleaning up after their pets.While we were there multiple pets running free. Dogs were deficatting all over our camping area,males were urinating all over our things outside our camper. No view stared at the backside of a camper,no shade. We cut our trip early,our dog which we kept on a leash and cleaned up behind couldnt go outside the camper without the running loose dogs continually hanging around,barking,we were miserable as well as our dog. This was by far the worse camping experience we have ever had.we will not be returning.
