Super duper cool awesome staff! Great place to be! Spacious setup and all the equipment is really accessible! Staff truly cares about cleanliness and keeping customers safe and happy. Definitely recommend!

Its nice, I would bump it up to 4.5-5 stars if it would go back to 24 hours operating hours, there are occasions where it closes at 7:00 and Im asked to get off the machines mid set at around 6:15-6:30 because theyre closing... pretty disappointing to say the least

Wife is Black Card member, I am her registered guest. We travel the country and have found an inconsistency regarding amenity use for registered guest. Been to six PF in four states and two times I was denied access to BC amenities. Either I am or Im not...

There are 2 people that work here with social and customer service etiquette. The rest are all a.holes or brain dead. Gym is decently clean, but I wish they would always clean as hard as they did on corporate inspection day. Equipment is generally well maintained, but accessories for machines are clearly overworn. And why no foam rollers?? No enforcement of masks or of members cleaning surfaces and equipment when finished. Ive watched staff hang out with other staff and members chatting away, all without masks. People are gross. Do something about it.

I think its amazing that its called the judgment free zone but yet planet fitness made up a word to make fun of people, The only reason why I go to this gym its because Im currently disabled and my aid goes there and I come as a guest otherwise I would go to a different place

I have been to this planet fitness 5 separate times now to tan and instead of the full 15 minutes I wanted to tan, Ive gotten 3 minutes. Very disappointing and a waste of time and product.

They keep the place very clean always feel safe whenever Im in there which is every day

I love coming here to workout! Upset that tonight I waited 20 minutes for a tanning bed, I usually don’t mind the wait but when it finally became too late and I needed to leave I walked passed the tanning beds and all of the doors were opened. Worker was talking with a coworker the whole wait. Otherwise it’s always clean here and everyone social distances as they should!

Didnt like the constant, reminders to put mask on.I would lime to breath while Im working out. Other than that very nice.

Appearances do matter. The Janesville Planet Fitness always SHINES! They have always made an effort to have the cleanest workout facility in the area. In a word, they are Consistant, to say the very least.

So I had to stop going here because of the hours they are open. If they would go back to 24 hours and move closer to whare I live I might go back but for now Im going to have to be going to anytime fitness.

The manager here is a F*in B. If I would’ve known that I would have never gotten a membership here. Read the other reviews before you decide to spend 8$ less a month and just go to the Janesville Athletic Club.

Great ...At least most people that go here wear a mask, unlike some of the other gyms.

As long as you dont grunt too loud, its an OK gym to get your muscles burning.

Facility is great but when it comes to getting out of the no-contract fees thats a bit different. Contacted them 3 times to cancel.Must come in to do so.But I live 4 hours away.Eventually they did allow writing to cancel service but charged for an unused month.

Im here nights and love it! Ive been a member at one other gym that I hated. The first night I came I was super self conscious... but Im here to lose weight. From that very first night Jason has been extremely helpful. He explained each machine to me, and how to use them. Ive come in other nights that hes not here and you can really tell the difference. Hes always just a phone call away if we need help while were here. Hank you for all the help and comfortably that youve given myself and my friends!!

I was in town visiting my friend and we decided to pop in to the gym later in the evening. I liked that there was someone there late into the night. I also REALLY liked the massage beds. There was a large assortment of equipment and TVs to choose from.

I have been coming to the gym for about a year now— At first I was super uncomfortable and unfamiliar with it all. The staff at the Janesville facility have always been helpful at finding specific equipment for my programs and the atmosphere has always provided a comfortable work out environment. I now love going and seeing the regulars and being a part of a fitness community that accepts others and is always friendly. The equipment available is plenty for my own personal fitness goals— and for $10 a month? Yes please. There’s always cleaning supplies readily available and encouraged and since it’s opened from COVID, I’ve seen the staff regularly wiping down machines for everyone’s safety and peace of mind. I highly recommend PF Janesville!!

Clean place with lots of room

Really liked planet fitness until it got hot outside. The place now is almost too hot to work out and without enough ceiling fans its hard to find a machine that has cool air. I understand if youre already in shape the added heat doesnt bother you but if youre still overweight and trying to get a good workout in you feel like youre dying.

Staff is always helpful and make sure the carpets and tile are always clean for customers. Not only do we clean the carpets but always get a great workout at this club, highly recommended.

Love this gym!! I have a membership to the YMCA too, but its not as good as here... This gym is big, never full, VERY clean, and has friendly staff. Very new equipment and the bathroom is never a problem. My only complaint is that the stretching area is in the back and very small... Watch out!!

I love it here. But im thinking that we need a bigger place now. The amount of people that go there is crazy. I understand their are times that are slower then others. But it would definatly be nice to go and not have to be pushed into a corner to workout.

It felt good to work out again

This is the first Planet Fitness I went to. The inside is very clean and gives off a relaxing feeling. They have just about anything you could want but without the gym feel. The cost is competitive if not lower than other gyms in the area. If you are staying in Janesville for a while its worth stopping in for a trial.

I come here and workout and everybody leaves you alone, what more can you ask for?Everything is clean and equipment is newIf you use their treadmills and want to go longer than thirty minutes make sure you adjust the timer on the unit otherwise it will force you to go to a cool down

Great facility. Impressed with the improvements since the new manager has come on board. Looking forward to positive change. Had my first session with the trainer, very happy with my session.

Clean gym, nice tanning beds, semi-friendly staff. Thats the only plus side. The club has only been open a month, and there has already seems to be a high turnover of employees judging by how many new faces youll see behind the desk each day.Dont ask staff for any fitness advice and/or questions regarding machines. I asked a few questions regarding various machines and got the response, I dont know...youll have to ask the personal trainer. Both times, mid-afternoon, the personal trainer was not there either.Bottom line: If youve never joined a gym before, this may or may not be for you. If youve been a gym member somewhere else and have some prior knowledge of working out: BEWARE. Even if youre quiet and keep to yourself, they will discriminate strongly against you if you know what youre doing. Having any prior fitness knowledge is NOT what they want in their club.

I really like working out here. Great variety of equipment. I love the access to hydromassage, tanning and chair massages with Black membership. It can get full at peak times of day making it slightly harder to get on treadmill etc near 5:00 hour. Clean and well kept. Nice clean lockerrooms with good amenities.

I joined PF not exactly knowing what to expect.I was a little apprehensive at first but it has been a positive experience, mostly because of the staff. They are always cheerful and willing to help.I am especially grateful to have a trainer who gave me a program to follow. I feel that I am going in the right direction. Thank you KariRandy Wendt

Gym is always clean, good environment. Even when busy, theres plenty of exercise equipment available. Price is excellent, location is easy to access. Highly Recommend.

This review is solely on a phone call. This might be a great facility but I Called with two general questions about the facility. The girl that answered went into a 45 second advertisement of the facility. I Politely tried interrupting her that I already read everything on the website, and she kept talking I was so baffled by this, that neither of my questions were answered. So, I made my decision to go somewhere else because of her lack of customer competency.

A large variety of equipment allows concentration on specific type of exercise. They are continually cleaning and the staff is always very helpful.

Been a member of the one in Janesville before the doors even opened. I have went to other ones on vacation and I can say I love the one in Janesville the best. Great employees, clean, safe and a all around good vibe.

I was in the Judgement Free Zone as this place is called and had guys right next to me talking bad about me, judging me for not being big and buff like them. Not the gyms fault I guess but their slogan is a complete joke.

The two main overnight workers Ashley and Brendan are the best, they get the work done they are supposed to and are super friendly.

They are a very good place. Everyone is busy doing there own thing. The staff is there to help you if you need it. This is my 1st gym membership n they are very helpful. The trainer helped make up a couple of routiens for me to do specifically desicied for me w/my knee problems. Its a lot of fun there. I like I can take a friend w/me to work out with me.

I’ve never been to this one before always Beloit. It was strange live visiting someone else’s home. The up front staff looked at me odd when I said I’ve never been to that location. I asked where the locker room was. Not as friendly as Beloits. Maybe it was a bad time, idk

Planet Fitness is a decent gym, always smells clean, and the members and staff have always been polite. Really, you cant beat it for $10/month. I wish it had a sauna, though, instead of tanning beds.

Clean gym. I enjoy going here over the weekends. I go to a different gym usually but this one is closer to home. Staff is meh but that seems to be the standard at most locations.

The 30 minutes circuit gives your cardio and weights at the same time. I like the fact that I can incorporate both into my workout.

I have been going there with my friends for a couple weeks and we drove there from across town to find out that she can’t have a guest. Big question is why just all the sudden is this rule being inplaced. Also when I said I had a day pass the person working the front rolled her eyes and me at said in a rude day it’s expired. All together this annoyed me and doesn’t make me want to come back or try to become a member.

Convenient location and lots of equipment so waiting usually isnt an issue. Always seems to be someone cleaning no matter what time of day I visit, which is reassuring.

Planet Fitness is affordable. Its a comfortable place to work out.
