Anytime the interlock faults, I had to pay. Pay for the tech to come out..pay for calibration. Eventhough, I passed the tests and followed all guidelines. They showed no remorse that the device didnt work properly for me. The techs were not in the town I was in for 6 days! I was without my car for 6 days due to them not having a tech around or scheduled in the area. Yet, it wasnt their fault. I had passed ALL tests, never set off a violation. and Mind you, my device faulted on a -8° day and I had two kids in the car! We were stranded in a freezing snow storm! No remorse was shown. I just had to wait the six days till tech was in town and pay a crazy amount of fees. It took over 45min to even get a tech on the phone. His response was, jumpstart your car. Yet I had a new battery and it was just running fine 5 min before device faulted. This caused so much stress on my family and I. It put a huge bump in all of my familys schedule for 6 days and left us in a state of emergency on a -8° day. None of which ever got addressed properly or repaid. Total scam, so much unwanted stress and fees. I feel totally tooken advantage of, and feel like no sympathy was shown even tho my kids and I were put in a state of emergency due to faulty device/installation.

I never leave reviews but I had to do this. The scheduler lady in Janesville has the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. My device had many flaws, the cord was improperly installed therefore it was not long enough, I got to reset violation even though my car was started. Every time I explain the situation this particular lady in the scheduling department in Janesville automatically told me I was wrong. She was Extremely rude, not willing to help, unpolite, defensive and seem bothered by me.Please please please I recommend to anyone looking for an interlock device. Do not come here. The technicians were nice but other than that the service is horrible and they take advantage of the customer with poor equipment and hidden charges.

This is a mini novel but worth the read if you are considering this outfit.Unfortunately interlocks are a necessary evil but they should not be a rip off. There are other cheaper outfits out there so shop around.I picked these guys based on convenience. I soon found out that it is anything but convenient.First they are only at the Janesville shop 1 to 2 days a week. If you need assistance it cost you big time for a service call. Now for tech service. First dont bother calling tech support they will just tell you to bring it in.In the winter expect it to take 5 to 10 minutes to warm up before you can attempt to even blow into it. I often sat on it or slid it under my arm inside my jacket to get it to workI left my windows cracked open last summer at work. The weather took an unexpected turn and torrential rains hit. Well this device got wet. BOOM a large charge to replace it. No insurance is offered so if any thing happens to this get ready to pay.Next it was acting up so I called got an appt. When I took it in the Tech said he had reset and calibrate it. BOOM another charge. So I have to pay for your device screwing up??? This happened several times. Now this MAY be in the fine print some where but make sure you have a good battery. My ignition switch broke in the on position. So I disconnected the battery. After I got the new ignition the device tells me it needs service. I take it in and BOOM another charge. At times it goes off and I blow in and it doesnt work it reads that I have been drinking. This happened several times and a few of them left me stranded on the side of the road until I could get it started again. But hey its not the device right??One time when it happened to me my grandson was with me. He even tried but it registered him as if he had been drinking, he was 10......take it in BOOM another charge.Ok so now I have had this pos in my car for 1 year and 3 months. I switched cars .....BOOM another fee even though installation is free which means after we hook you thats the last time the words free are in their vocabulary.I lost power again 1 week before removal...BOOM another charge and this time the rates changed. Well its coming out next week youd think they might cut me some slack but no way....pay up!They now have a new Tech....this guys looks like he should be named Billy Joe Jim Bob.....dirty hair, nasty teeth and wore clothes that needed a wash a few weeks ago. He was the most unprofessional acting, looking and smelling individual I have ever seen. I asked Billy Joe to verify my appointment time for the next week. I thought the time was 10 a.m. he said no its 9 a.m. Great since I start work at noon.Removal day comes I get there right on time only to be told by yet another new Tech my appt. isnt until 1p.m. I told him no you guys confirmed 9 a.m he stated he didnt know why they said that. After a small debate he finally conceded that he could squeeze me in at 11:15. Ok I said and headed back home. Its now 11:10 and I am about 1 minute away from the shop and I get a call asking me if I was coming in at 11:15 Or keeping my 1p.m. appt that I didnt make in the first place. Well of course I am coming in I said. Umm yeah ok he replies. Why would he think I changed to a time I didnt agree to begin with. He did promptly get me in and remove the torture device. It was then I noticed that fee was jacked up now too.Approx. $140 recalibration fee every two months. Which takes all of 7 minutes, I have timed it.These are just a few examples there are more but you get the idea.So if you have the unfortunate need to have an interlock ordered, think very carefully and shop around. I understand that this device was required due to my own fault and believe me I have paid the price for my actions. But being taken advantage of is pretty shoddy practise. When ever there was an issue it was never their equipment and it ALWAYS cost me extra.Just beware.....I gave them 1 star only because they dont have a negative star rating available!
