I was denied food stamps even though I make less than 5K a year. The reasoning was that I am a college student, and therefore dont qualify for food stamps.I guess I should just quit education and live life as a meth addict on 2nd street instead of, you know, trying to be a better community member.

This is a great place to get assistance and off of your feet. There are so many programs that people probably dont even realize they qualify for. I broke up with my abusive bf and had no money, job, etc... they got me going and only 2 years after applying I finally finished JCC and got a job and could get off assistance. Thank you all for your help.
