Purchased a 48 fire ring for my father-in-law as a gift. He loves it! It is an extremely well made product. I worked with Chris Simon, who provided me with excellent customer support, and helped me arrange to have a friend pickup the fire ring. Chris even called me later to make sure we are happy with the purchase. Classy! Would definitely do business with Jamestown Advanced Products again.

Not bad but they cant get a driver who will unload your merchandise

Were building outdoor classrooms for our public school to help reduce Covid-19 transmission. For picnic table frames and fire rings, we turned to Jamestown Advanced. Mike Feldman advised us on the best options. Fabrication and shipment were as promised. One missing part was quickly addressed with a single email. Product quality is excellent. Thank you. Bought 8 picnic table frame kits. Everything that came with was good condition but no instructions on how to assemble. I figured it out but my measurements were a little off.Some guidance would have been worth 5 stars.

We buy many things from here, but recently had a terrible customer service experience from Jamestown Advanced. We purchased 2 luxury fire pits 2 years ago, and had trouble with them from the beginning. The drawings for the brick layout was based on a non-standard brick size. We had to redesign the bricks layout with a standard size. Shortly after we got them, maybe after 2-3 fires, the paint started to peel. We notified Jamestown Advanced and was told that nothing could be done. Fast forward to present day and the pits are warped, rusted and the paint is all gone. This is far from a luxury product. We notified Jamestown Advanced again, and we were told that its not a quality issue and it must be from too hot of fires. We dont understand, fires are hot and this should be able to withstand the heat. They have been used under normal conditions and have been closely monitored to make sure no large bonfires are being held. This is supposed to be a commercial grade product as these are sold at tradeshows around the country. If you are going to make a firepit and call it luxury, it should be able to withstand fire.

Make sure to ask for a product that will withstand the elements or so I’m told that’s what I should have asked for.7 expensive picnic tables that are anchored to the ground and two trash cans all “powder coated”.Rust began to form only two months after installing and not just one or two but all.A call to Jamestown and they claim that it’s due to being by the ocean. Now I know the salt in the air and so on but these where never powder coated, instead dipped in a paint plastic mixture that covers no so well.Long story short after only 3 years we have two options. Take apart and get a real powder coat, or replace them.These should have lasted much much longer for the price we paid.I don’t recommend their products to anyone.
