Takes forever. I waited almost an hour for one after I was told 30 mins.
Whoever is dispatching needs to be fired. She told me 20 to 25 minutes. After over a half hour I called and she said one is on the way. Its been another half hour after that and I called and she said ones on the way. Now Ive been waiting another 20 minutes and the cab is nowhere to be found. Where are they on the way from? Buffalo? If its gonna be an hour and a half because youre busy then just say that. I could have waiting in my warm house instead of my freezing doorway watching for a cab thats never gonna come.
My husband and I are totally blind and we try to be independent as much as possible which means relying on public transportation. Rainbow cab in Jamestown New York is totally unreliable. Today at approximately 11:30, my husband called for a cab. He is still waiting at almost 2 in the afternoon! Also, we have had to tell them several times that we are totally blind and to ask the driver to call us when they arrive. They have refused time and time again to comply. They do not get out of their cabs because as they say, it is against company policy to leave their cabs to help blind or disabled passengers. I would highly not recommend this business.
Would give a zero if possible. Called for an emergency situation said they would send a cab in an hour. An hour came and went called again and they had forgotten the call and said it would be another hour wait!
Very rude. I got yelled at when I called to see where my cab was after waiting for two hours, and promptly got hung up on. Frankly, if you dont want to do customer service, find another job. When the driver came, he was not wearing a mask. Completely unprofessional.
How do you close at 11 on monday i make a call at 10 and they say no cabs available till 11 then say i might as well walk. wthhhh🤣
Horrible cab service
I waited for almost two hours outside in the snow and they claimed they had pulled up and then left when no one came outside. I was outside the entire time. Two hours. I was late for work, to say the least.
This place needs more drivers. The wait time for a cab is ridiculous
Barely ever have and available driver never gets to you on time I have been waiting for two hours for a cab and told the had to be to work by a certain time I gave them more than enough time to come get me I’m always ready when I call there is no reason what so ever that I should be getting to work late if I’m calling two hours before I have to be to work
Giving them one star is overly generous. Sam needs to tell his worthless girlfriend whos been dispatching for the past year and a half to start doubling up on fares. Just because she didnt like sharing a cab with anyone else doesnt mean that goes the same for everybody else. That and she doesnt bother to tell the drivers have the time when they have a fare that needs to be picked up. And more than once shes made me late for work. I can understand cabs running late because of bad weather. But when youre told the cab will show up in a half hour and its 2 hours late, thats where I have a problem.
The worst dispatch ever and the worst time. If you plan on using rainbow make sure you give yourself and extra 3 hours so they have enough time to forget about you and then come back 2 hours later. Smfh, and somehow the only taxi service in town.
Scheduled a pick up the night before and had to wait an extra 30 mins... Uber wouldve been on time or at least within a decent time...

This is horrible. I called for a cab at 6:14pm and they didnt show up at all . Never using them again! Poor customer service!

If I could give it less of a rating, I would. Told 20 minutes for a cab, called back 35 minutes later to be told a cab would be there in another 10 minutes and after waiting another 25 minutes I just cancelled. Absolutely terrible company!
Its on its way I swear, I mean the drivers arent bad. Being one of the only can companies in Jamestown can be rather bothersome if your in a hurry always call at least 1hr to half hour ahead of time.
The driver initially took 30 mins to get to the location. Got there then the driver proceeded to leave after approximately 45 seconds of waiting. Called back then waited another 45 mins for the driver to return. So I just gave up and walked
Very horrible service the cab drivers never have change and also today I called to get a cab and this refused to let me bring laundry with me over the phone cause I asked for a van big enough to carry it and then proceeded to tell me Im not allowed hung up on me I called him back and he continued to tell me no and when I asked to speak to a supervisor he told me no and hung up again very angry !!!!
They need to learn when they’re in public places to not speed or someone’s going to get hit one day and it’s going to be on their hands specially when they’re at Walmart flying down the street for no reason
