John at Quillco was recommended to us by our original enclosure company for the instillation of a dog door. John was very responsive, gave us great advice for the type of door we needed, and his prompt instillation was top-notch. While he was here, he repaired another one of our screens (this was an add on request we made after he arrived that morning and he was very gracious to accommodate).All work was done for a very reasonable fee and he gave an accurate estimate before he arrived.Very glad we found this company!

John is super nice and informative. They know their business.

I called and got an email response- that is the only way this company seems to communicate- that said he- John - would come out before the end of the week. He did not and went out of town. Said he would come out on the following Wednesday. We never saw him, but I followed up and he said he sent a coworker out. Never got a quote, followed up again via email, still no quote. Complete unprofessionalism for this small job. If his work is like his communication, dont waste your time.

Very unprofessional. They say they are driving, on a roof, in a meeting,, or out of town and will call you right back. They have been saying that for a week now.... and this is with the owner. Avoid if you value your time and money.

Mr. John came to fix my screen door and to install new screen door. What a great person he is and provided excellent customer service. We had some issue in installation but he took care of all the issues and provided excellent service. And by far very reasonable price in market. One most important thing for me was the communication. Always communicated in advance for his plan which I liked the most. Most other doesnt bother to communicate if they are not coming or if coming late. So thank you for your service.

Requested a quote and was told they would be out Monday after a job unless it ran late, then they would come by on Wednesday. No one showed Monday and I called John Wednesday afternoon to see if they were still coming, left a message and received no call back. That was several weeks ago.

Read the update please.My neighbors told me about this company and I contacted John and I’m glad I did, he communicated well with me and gave me a pretty early installation date! Most people were no shows and others made me wait for about 4-7 weeks.He was very reasonable compared to all the pricey brand names in jaxTyler took almost full 6-7 hours and screened it.And told would come next day to do the side plates and they promptly came and did the workI’m very happy with the result.Update: reduced 2 stars after miserably begging them to come fix the broken screen for about 9 months they finally came 🙄Look for someone else who’s reliable.They fixed it eventually

ZERO RESPONSE SO EITHER OUT OF BUSINESS OR HEADING THAT WAY

Good work but poor customer service. The owner showed up to our house without notifying anyone he was on your property and just started repairing our screen. Prior to his arrival, I never received a quote and I specifically told the dispatcher to have him quote us before he started the work. After he was done, we never received a receipt of payment and future credit that was promised for the lack of professionalism. I called them back asking to have the invoice emailed to me and 3 days later still no invoice.

Called this company off of google I like to get 3 quotes when I’m doing a project for my home. Spoke with the owner and was able to get a quote from him and he came in about $300 bucks cheaper than the other 2 so that was plus but I was still a little concerned. We had scheduled about 2 weeks out for him to come install a brand new porch screen the day before he was scheduled to come he called me saying the warehouse didn’t have the material and it would be ready another day which was fine. So the day he was scheduled to come install I took off from work to make sure I was able to be home and I called him to see what time then again he says the warehouse didn’t have the material yet and it may be another day for him to come out. Not sure if the other reviews are real but this guy and his company is a waste of time look else where definitely wouldn’t recommend this company. Now I’m out of a day of work for nothing I was able to find another company who is much more professional and does outstanding work. Look on google for another company avoid this one trust me.

Work was done expeditiously. Quality of work looks to be there but I am glad it comes with a 1 year warranty. Repair guy showed up in an unmarked vehicle that looked like a hearse, he also left the old door hardware just laying on the ground for my dog to eat, luckily I inspected the area after. I would recommend this company because of there customer service, quickness to get your problem fixed and there prices. Thanks

Terrible customer service. You simply cannot count on Quillco to show up for your scheduled appointment.I called to schedule an appointment, and John, the owner said that he would stop by on Saturday to quote the job, but then he didnt show up. He didnt even call to cancel. He seemed reasonable; I wanted to give him another chance, so I called again to reschedule. He apologized for missing the appointment and we set another appointment. This time, the appointment was during the work week, but still he didnt show up. Again, he didnt even call to cancel or reschedule the appointment.

Fantastic customer service and a quality job! Matt and the team did a great job replacing our screens at the house and for a good price. Not only did he do the screens but as I was loading things in my vehicle, Matt stopped what he was doing and offered to help me out. We really enjoyed having Quillco work on our home.

My wife called to have screens put onto our 6 windows. They confirmed an appointment for a Thursday. Well the date and time of the appointment comes, and they are no where in sight. We call to ask if they are going to come or not and turns out that there is no record of our appointment. For the few next hours I was told oh so and so person knows and they will call you, Ill let them know to call you.No one called me. I had to constantly follow up and ask the questions because they werent giving me direct answers. After a few hours they sent someone out, they got to my house and took measurements...said that we should have them by Monday...11 days from when we made the appointment. Sunday night, the night before, we get a call and he tells us he has to move us to Tuesday..which is fine since he notified us. Well Tuesday comes...and he is a no show. I call the office and they say that the serviceman will call me...he did not call me. I had to call and leave a message, by this time its been about 2 hours from our missed appointment. I finally get a call from him and he tells me I meant to call you and let you know that I couldnt make it but it seems he was ignoring the issue. I asked what the issue was, and I couldnt get a straight answer from him. He put the blame on the office and scheduling and said he fell behind in other jobs and that he had to stick to the schedule. What he couldnt seem to tell me is why he didnt notify us and instead chose to ignore us and make us seek the answers.At this point I decided to call the office and scheduling and spoke to John...and I got the same answer I got from the service man...its not my fault.It seems that no one in this business wants to take responsibility for anything and instead want to blame it on other people and then ignore the customer all together when they run into an issue and hope they just give up. Ultimately he sent another serviceman who actually had answers out that day and he took measurements and gave them to us on Friday...15 days from when we made the appointment.My issue with this company is the fact that they made 3 false promises, they made an appointment and forgot about us and then made 2 more and missed those. They also didnt take responsibility for any of it. If they would have notified me that they were going to have to miss our appointments, that would have been fine..at least I would be kept in the loop. Their customer service and accountability is extremely poor.

Both Matt and John provided great service for our screen repairs. Quoted on one day and completed the next! And if you have a choice, ask for John to do your repairs. He does stellar work.

Quillco is the worst company who treat customer like nothing. I cannot believe i am writing a review for the customer treatment and not for the work. Back in January i contacted John who is in Quilco to fix my screen porch, sent photos and he came home to see if it can be fixable and gave me a quote. He gave me a date of one weeks to come and fix it. I have been constantly try to reach him after the date he provided (end of jan)in the given mobile number from where he called and texted me and there was no response. There is no response. I have certainly gone to another company for fixture after waiting a month but i wanted to provide review so that in future other customers are treated and responded well.

After multiple phone calls to two different screen repair companies in Fernandina Beach, neither one seem at all interested in rescreening our lanai, and a dozen or more window screens. I mean, they didn’t even have the courtesy to return a call to say “no thanks”.But the first time I called Jacksonville Screen Repair by Quillco, a human answered, provided an estimate, and scheduled the repair. They were quick to respond, & did a fine job for a reasonable price.

Great overall performance. Very happy with the re-screening. Did exactly what they said they would do. No change orders and kept the job site clean. Would highly recommend.

WORST decision I have ever made was to use Quillco to fix my glass room roof leak. John came out and said it was a simple fix. He charged me $300 to repair the weather stripping. A few days later, it rains and the roof is still leaking. I call him and hes baffled. He comes back out to fix the faulty repair. A few weeks later, it rains and the roof is pouring in water. He will not return my calls or texts. He was supposed to come out a 3rd time, since the work is under warranty, yet has disappeared. Hes a scammer and is incapable of properly fixing roof leaks in a glass Florida room. Stay away from this company!!!!! I work hard for my money and to have $300 stolen from me with no solution to the problem is unacceptable.

Scheduled them twice to come out to fix our screen and both times they never showed up or even called. We had to call them to see why they didnt show up the 1st time and told us they were sorry so scheduled another day and once again nobody showed up.

I used company to have some screen panels repaired from the recent hurricane Matthew. One panel has come loose because of poor workmanship. This was verified by the company owner himself. However, I have been waiting patiently and have repeatedly called to get them to clear up their mistakes.The owner John Quillen sounds sincere, however, this is deceiving because he has yet to make good on completing the job.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.CUSTOMER SATISFACTION DOES NOT EXIST!!

John is fantastic! He is on top of it and has such a huge amount of experience in screen repair that it shows. I especially love that he looks at the details and makes sure you know about them, like the caps to the screws for the screens. I needed 2 screens and 2kickplates replaced on my screened in lanai. One screen had a hole in it about 12x12 inches and the other was coming out at the edging. I just had mosquito preventing sprayed around my house and needed those screens fixed ASAP as an added preventive. After calling about 4 different screen companies, 2 of which I left a msg and called me back 3 days later-(ahh no thx) and the 2 others so ridiculously overpriced because I needed service ASAP. I called Qullico they gave me a good price over the phone and scheduled me in 2 days later. They came on time, did what they had to do and done. Great job- thanks guys!
