Great school. Small family business but run very well. The kids love it there and the main coach (erik) doesnt just teach them the physical aspects of martial arts, he focuses on mental toughness, doing whats right, and teaching the kids to NOT be the bully. The physical fitness is also great for the kids. Lastly the kids have to earn their progress rather than just getting a trophy for signing up. We tried a corporate place first and were glad we left and committed to zone.

Zone martial arts school offers children excellent tools that they can carry with them throughout their lives. These tools include but are not limited to: integrity, respect, honesty, honor, self-respect, confidence, punctuality, and so much more. I especially like how Erik the instructor instills these tools in the children, also, how he interact with them. He has so much patience with them, and teaches them with a smile, and humor, and a great attitude! My son Sammy loves going there. We have noticed a huge change in our son since he has been going to Zone.

Everything about zone is top notch. The technical aspect of Mr Ekholm’s teaching is high level but his infusion of good character, values, and work ethic are even better. If every kid in America spent a few years here the world would have a better future.

Zone is an awesome karate school. The owner Erik is an excellent teacher and mentor and encourages students one on one to do their best and meet their goals. All the kids feel valued, and my son LOVES being a part of the school. If youre looking for a family-owned school where your child will receive valuable attention and instruction, this is your school!
