Working at Vector Marketing Jacksonville has been an amazing experience. I have learned and grown so much from our management staff. I continue to grow in the company as well as pursue my own passions outside of the company. I have full support from my coworkers and manager Darren. Thankful for how far I have gone. Can not wait to see where Vector can take me!!!
Today, I had appointment with one of the representatives of the company, Brandy. She was really sweet and very helpful during her presentation when I had questions. She knew a lot about the brand and was able to discuss prices with me right there.During the appointment she was required to call one of her supervisors. I was pretty uncomfortable, but decided to speak with him. Darren got on the call and was completely unprofessional. I explained to him my needs and situation and he was more concerned about making a sale of the higher or more expensive products, which I did not want. I told him I thought the products where very unique and looked of good quality, he then makes a comment I wouldnt have sold millions of them if they werent. I told him at this time, I was looking for prices on their products and did not want to buy today. He proceeds to tell me in a very arrogant way you wont even consider my offer, Im giving you the best deal already and was trying to get me to buy something on the spot. I politely told him I was not interested and he got off the phone. I felt his behavior was very cocky and that he was more worried about selling than finding out the persons needs. Brandy was very understandable, however after speaking with Darren, I will not be considering their brand at this time.
Unfortunately, this place is not all that it seems and is extremely misleading. When I applied for this job, it was advertised as a remote position. I was told again via phone interview it would be a remote position, with only having to come to the office about once a month for “supplies.” I got hired on the spot and was all set for training and was very excited. I completed two days of training and within that training, I found out that it is anything but remote. Yes, you can work remotely, BUT there are at least two days a week, if not more, to come for “team building exercises, team night outs, meetings etc.” Plus, they required you to fill out a time sheet in person and you were not paid until you did so. I pulled the manager aside and explained what I was told via interview, as the office was an hour away from house and this did not make sense because that’s not what I was told. As a growing family with little ones and a husband who has a crazy work schedule (which is the absolute reasons why I NEEDED a remote position), I was extremely disappointed to hear this. These “team building exercises” and etc were not just an hour or so each night, they were FOUR+hours, some starting at 6pm which means they would go to 10pm or later. Again, with my husbands schedule and my little ones, this was not going to be feasible for me. The manager told me I didn’t have to go to the team building nights due to my situation but I did need to come fill out the time sheet in person. I was so disappointed in the misleading information I was provided because I really needed a strictly remote position due to my family situation. In This day and age there is no reason why.I should have had to come an hour each way to the office just for my time sheet when that all could have been done on the computer, email, etc. I ended up having to leave the position and now I’m back at square one trying to find a remote position. Unreal.
I had a interview at 6:20pm. Tell me why when its time for the interview they all sudden connection issues. Then wanted to schedule another interview I feel as that was a waste of my time and i believe that its a scam.
Ever since the moment I started working here, I knew that I never wanted to leave. I have always worked in a negative environment, this is definitely not one of those places!
Best job I’ve ever had. Started with 0 sales experience and found success through the excellent training. Couldn’t imagine going back to a normal 9-5 after working here
Great opportunity for anyone. Flexible schedules allow you to pursue any other dreams you have. Amazing leadership and love the positive energy through out the company.
Im currently a full time student at UNF and I work part time with Vector marketing. Been here since August and its been a great experience. Ive explored my talents and found myself in a great position that really fits me and my qualities that benefit the company. Thats one part of why I love working here. I get to work a very flexible schedule around school and other commitments. This is also great resume experience that prepares me for my career in business after college.
Vector has taught me so many things that cant be taught working at a traditional job or in school. Understanding how important daily interaction and how to properly interact with people on a daily basis is crucial for any career you wish to pursue. Other skills such as time management and scheduling are things that really impress a manager or supervisor. The flexibility of this job is amazing because as a collegiate student athlete I can work when I need to. I would recommend this job again and again!
Great place to work. Fun environment and caring people. I would suggest working here with Grace and Darren both seasonally and permanently.
I am.a doctoral student. I am originally from Jacksonville and recently moved back in June 2018. I stumbled upon the Vector job posting and followed the instructions. Darren was awesome during the hiring process. I am progressing well into my second month.

Vector provides the necessary skillsets for any aspiring person that can apply and use no matter what career they choose. The people you meet are friendly and supportive and not to mention the trips and pay!

DO NOT PASS UP THIS OPPORTUNITY. I’ve learned more in 10 months of working here than in the last 20 years of my life. If you’re looking for a job that will teach you how to grow mentally and financially, this job is for you!!
