We needed a couple of Crape Myrtle trees for our yard so we decided to head to Grants Creek Nursery. This place is amazing! They have acres & acres of plants & trees of all species! It was hard to stay on task! Lol! Super friendly & informative staff made it easy to find what we needed. Gorgeous ceramic pots of all sizes & beautiful fountains - all at great prices. This hidden treasure is so worth the drive. π»
This place is a plant lovers dream! We needed some Crepe Myrtle trees for our yard and I had called in advance for pricing before I drove out there. The woman I spoke to on the phone and in person was SO helpful and friendly!! The prices are phenomenal and they literally have everything you could ever want! They have gorgeous houseplants as well but unfortunately I didnβt have any more room in my suv. I will definitely be back asap. This is my new favorite find in Onslow County!
Wonderful display of trees, plants & shrubs. Nicely.organized and some unique species. Rachel is extremely knowledgable and very helpful. A very relaxing shopping environment.
Selection was average but prices were pretty expensive on the house plants not to mention I saw mealy bugs and spider mites on LOTS of the alocasias and giant elephant ears both inside and out. I can deal with them but itβs really a pain. I hope they get that cleared up because I do not want to walk into a nursery knowing I might bring back pests.
Grants Creek Nursery is a top notch business! Pure excellence. They are a large professionally run local business that still manages to give each customer a personal touch. The Croom family has made us feel like part of their family. We have felt like a priority to them each time nomatter what the job size/request is. Most recently Meredith and her crew went out in the rain during the hurricane remnants that passed over to do two amazing fall set ups for my mother on her birthday. They could have easily done it the day before (a sunny day) but were able to do it the day of so she returned to find it as a surprise on her actual birthday! I gave them an idea of what I wanted and they exceeded my expectations. The price was what I would have paid at the big box store for the product alone and srill had to have done it myself. So for the same big box price I got product, design, delivery and set up folks! Every need, every season they have something for you. Landscaping, maintenance, decorations and if you have not thought of gifting you are missing out. paying for a holiday set up, live plants to a person or business, having someones flower beds re worked..think on it! I now live 2 states away and I will tell you it is nice to have my mother and Military Veteran father taken care of with such craft, honesty and respect. From my family to yours, thank you Phil & Meredith for what you do!
Pretty nice nursery. Staff was nice, not as big a selection of flowers as I had hoped for, but tons of trees
The lady at the front desk is very nasty. My friends warned me about her. They say she is a owner. Spent a lot of money their. Biggest mistake I made. If I could give no stars I would. Go somewhere else to buy your plants
The lady who runs it should not be at the front desk. She doesnβt have customer service skills and she wonβt offer you very much information, so go in there with some specific questions if you want help. What they lack in friendly customer service, they make up for in pricing and selection on certain items. I would definitely go there to buy trees again, but I wouldnβt say Iβd be looking forward to dealing with the front desk.
Rude, just rude. I am a 20 year customer both direct and indirect. Refer family and friends as well as business clients. Not any more. Rude!!!
I drove an hour in the hopes of finding some house plants but not expecting to find anything here, and ended up finding a beautiful variety of calatheas, philodendron, allocatia, and tons more. The plants were all in great condition too.
Wow the negative reviews speak louder than this stores radio commercials. Definitely will not waste time and $ here.
Locally owned businesses. Amazing group of people that work there. They are very helpful picking out different plants and trees to accommodate your landscaping needs. I have got all my plants from them and have never had any issues with trouble getting them to root. They are very knowledgeable and informative. I absolutely love all our fruit trees. We have more pears and persimmons every year than we know what to do with. Ask for Meredith she will help you out with anything you need. Will never buy any plants from any place else.
The lady who runs this place is very rude/short with her customers. Yes they carry some great products but I cant put up with their attitude.... Save yourself a few bucks and headache/frustration/anger and just order through Amazon or some other place. After spending close to $300 in a week they still have an attitude and are very short with me everytime I go in or call. If they knew how to treat paying customers they wouldve gotten 5 stars but Im not going to be disrespected every time I ask a question. So long story short avoid these jokers at all costs!!!
Great staff, very helpful.
Great selection of plants and large pots and a few fountains. Hard to find prices on some of their stuff but friendly staff and friendly pets.
This place is absolutely awful. I just wanted a plant and the service is very rude and disrespectful I do not suggest this place to buy plants. I will not be returning.
Cant complain, lady at the desk marked on a map where I could get my trees. Got 5 trees for the price of 1 at Lowes. Place is organized and easy to navigate.
During COVID-19, they pulled out list of trees to the front. We paid over the phone and they loaded them onto our trailer. Great people to deal with. Thanks.
Good Grief! We just drove 18 miles after calling to see if they have the type of Redbuds we wanted only to be told if they are not labeled she doesnt know what type they are. Well guess what...Maybe five trees were labeled out of at least 100. What a wasted trip! Back to Carolina Home and Garden. Ill pay the extra.
Called for information. Was dead set on purchasing a live oak weeks from now. Meredith was not helpful at all. No at every corner and doesnt know how to explain the best way to do something or offer what CAN be done. How about telling me how much space a live oak would need or how deep I would have to dig to plant it, or how far from the septic system it needed to be, since you said that was my only option. Told her any help would be appreciated and before hanging up told her I more confused than before and she said ok bye! Wow. Just wow. What a B-.Helpful info? You need to be $2500 invested in shrubbery or trees before they will even consider planting anything for you. And they can refer you to someone else who may plant it for you. Most helpful info given by her the whole time. After reading other reviews I would guess Bryan dealt with the same woman.
Grants Creek Services a neighbor up the road. When finished, Grants Creek Landscaping drives their heavy equipment over our property and leaves deep ruts as the photos indicate. Grants Creek says they will fix the damage, and never has. A very irresponsible and corrupt if not criminal acting organization.I highly recommend βPicture Perfect Landscapingβ whom uses similar vehicles and trailers and has never damaged our property.
A great nursery with a wide variety of plants for our area. The staff was very knowledgeable. They helped me find plants that would do well in my landscaping. Its a family run operation that really cares about their customers. I also saw some cool pottery/planters that I may be back for! Thanks, Grants Creek!
My husband and I went there today looking for veggies and fruit trees. We walked into their store and was not even greeted, I had to say hello first. She didnt even ask if we needed help. My husband asked her for what we where looking for, she then pointed and said out side on the table. There were no prices. I then went back inside and asked for fruits trees, she once again just pointed and said in the green house, and once again no prices. We felt like we where a bother. We will not be going back very sad because we looked forward to seeing everything that they had to offer. Where is the southern hospitality, cause there sure wasnt any there with her?!
We purchased palm trees about 15 months ago and they never came to life. In addition they never came back to take the wood stilts down and theyβve told me thereβs nothing they will do except charge our company all over again. As a business owner I understand the frustration customers have but being unwilling to help us out when the product you provided never worked is disheartening to say the least. The employee there are good people but the situation and refusal to move forward with a compromise results in the grade above.
I tagged a 3 stem River BirchThey delivered a 1 stem live, 1 stem dead tree after an extremely negative delivery process.Sorry, I used to recommend this Nursery....but no longer can do so.
Amazing job at grading the property and laying down sod! They have excellent prices and do very good landscaping. Plants and shrubs also stayed alive with through the winter. Thank you to Carl the landscaping manager and the crews getting everything done!
For years i worked with 2 other very good landscape companies and the material was always great and the customer service...awesome!NOW I WORK THERE (if you want to call it work).I TRULY COULDNT BE HAPPIER...thank you GRANTS CREEK.PAUL CADORETTE!
A+ Service! The best around! Keep up the good work.
Awesome landscape nursery. Very helpful when trying to find plants for our landscape jobs. I highly recommend Grants Creek Nursery.
First visit, staff was very friendly and helpful. Plants seem to be in good health.
Picked up a plant someone ordered as a gift for me and the species would be way to big. I asked to exchange it with another smaller version and was told it was impossible. The brunette lady was extremely unprofessional and rude. She walked away from me without saying anything and went outside while I was trying to talk to her. Found out when I went to leave SHE OPENED MY CAR without asking or telling me she needed to look at the plant that I was trying to return. She needs to take a vacation or learn how to deal with customers. Try greeting someone who is trying to conduct businesss and for heavens sake, smile or at least fake that you dont hate your job/life.
I though it was odd that I wasnt greeted when I walked in. Its not like I need a big warm welcome, but I was the only customer there at the time and the front doors are just a few feet from the desk. Not even a hello. The lady at the counter paid more attention to the cat that was sitting on the counter than to me as I was trying to ask her about what they had available. Another female employee who came out of the office and helped was just as disconnected. I dont think they were trying to be rude, but it seemed like they really didnt want to deal with a customer at the moment. All I needed was a few bags of soil and some grass seed. Super weird. Theres something wrong with that place. Never again.
Worst company ever wouldnt ever let my husband work for them again. Its sad how they treat their employees.
Rude employees!! Especially Meredith. Will never go back again!
