Quite interesting confrontation with the owners. I am traveling in a tour bus. I have a full size washer but no dryer. I entered this facility to use the dryer. I was told I was not allowed to dry but had to wash and dry. A bit shocked by this but I was finally allowed to dry my clothes. Not sure why a business would cut their own throat like that but there also seems to be a cultural roadblock here as well. The facility was very clean and well kept. The medium rating is for the confrontation.

Im not from Jax and lived in a hotel so I had to find a coin laundry place to wash my clothes. I picked this place as it appears to be in a better area at least to me. There are plenty of washers and dryers, some small and large.There are a couple of places to sit and there is a TV but it was not on at the time. There is a vending machine that sells cokes, and they have an ATM for cash and a change machine for quarters. The owners have a little booth where they will sell you washing supplies, and other misc. things. There is also free wifi.To all the 1 star reviews about not letting you dry your clothes it is true. The owner has a sign saying its not allowed, and he does kind of post-up and glare at you and follow you around for a minute or two lol.I understand why he does not allow you to dry your wet clothes that you washed somewhere else as the fee to dry clothes is $0.25-$0.50 for 6 minutes where as they charge $2.75-$8.00 to use their washers. So basically they dont make much money on Dryer people as it probably doesnt even cover running the machine, and they make all their money on the washing/drying combos and selling supplies.Just something to keep in mind.They will also wash your clothes for you though I am not sure how much that costs.

Very clean place, great wifi, I havent found a better place throughout Jacksonville. The owners are on site when its open and can assist with what size machine would be best for your needs and sell some basic laundry supplies. Note: dryers are for wash customers only, do not bring your wet stuff from elsewhere to dry.

Good place water pressure not great but does the job

Clean, free wifi access and access to electrical plugs,brand new machines, HOT water, two water fountains, change machine up to $20 dollar bills, can coke vending machine,male and female bathrooms with paper towels(no diaper changing table), wheeled carts and large folding tables, new chair seating and a big tv. Lots of dryers in 50cent increments that all get hot and work correctly, huge 3 or 4 load machines at $8.00, then others at $6.00, $4.25,$2.75 so a tad pricey if youre washing alot. Ran by same people as hunan wok at 868 blanding blvd.

Owners dont speak English well so they did not understand me when I explained I cannot wear a mask due to a medical condition. This is discrimination

Dont go to this location if you dont plan on washing AND drying your clothes at this business. Apparently the dryers are for washing customers only. I wonder what they would do if you only washed your clothes and did not use their dryers. Im guessing that they would allow that because a washing machine is about three times the cost of the dryers and from everything Ive read the dryers heat must be turned down because the amount you would put in regularly does not dry the clothes all the way. Bad business operation if you ask me!!

The place was clean and big! The price was reasonable. This was my first time here so I needed change for a $20 I stood at the window while the attendant played in his phone for 5 minutes before another patron asked if they could help me and when I told them what I needed they showed me where the coin machine was. That cost them a start. Then after I washed my clothes when I was loading them in one of the dryers the attendant came and asked me if I washed my clothes here to which I responded why yes! Yes I did. After I stood outside your window for 5 minutes while you were on your phone but another kind patron helped me. He then said oh well and walked off. Customer service people goes a long way. The second interaction cost another star.

It’s very clean and nice. I only gave it a four because I wish there was more seating. The washers and dryers are great. Nice place to do my laundry.

This may be a family business but it is not a good place to bring your family. The owner watch your ever move like you are not a paying customer and youre going to Rob the place.The place is clean but over priced I think the owner dont like people very much or he is a racist or maybe he only like some of his customer but all I no it doesnt feel right. The staff was helpful and friendly. It seems to be a family owned laundry. The husband came out and helped me with my baskets which was very thoughtful. They have different size washer machines but to me it was a bit more pricey compared to the other laundry facilities I have been to. As for the dryers, the really big ones in order to start the dryer you have to first pay .50 and then add the amount of quarters you feel is necessary to dry your clothes. I put a total of 1.75 in the big dryer including the .50 and my clothes were still not completely dried. I was not happy with the dryers because I felt like I spent too much money and time on them and my clothes were still not dried. Other than the dryers everything else was good. The laundry is well kept and neat, bathroom was clean with toilet paper, napkins and soap. Its situated in a plaza where theres a Pizza hut and other stores in the plaza, there is also a vending machine with drinks in the laundry and comfortable seats.

Place may be clean but these ppl are fkn weird and they watch you like you have a disease! I was getting my child a soda from the vending machine and the lady literally was all in my face like I didn’t know how to put change in a fkn machine. The place is nice but they are not very welcoming especially ppl of color.

Honestly not sure what the negative reviews are about. Its quiet, clean, costs about what anywhere else costs and has wifi. No complaints.

I wouldnt even date a place that tells you if you dont wash and dry your cloths here you cant use it. A lot of people might might need one or the other at no fault of their own. And no one that is that rude with the public should even be allowed in public. Close them down, any business that only cares about how much they can make off people shouldnt be there

RIP OFF!! These people discriminate and should not be allowed to run this business. Complaint will be filed with the Attorney generals office. Do yourself a favor and use any other business in the community.

I used to come here often before I found a house to rent with a washer and dryer. My dryer stopped working today and I was at the laundromat for less then a minute while placing my wet jeans in the dryer. An employee came out, got mad at and lectured me that the dryer is only for those who wash their laundry there. He was annoyed at me and rude. I don’t understand why or how they can tell you that you have to wash and dry there. What if I only wash my clothes and don’t dry them, is that acceptable? This will most definitely be the last time I ever come here.

NO MASKS were required of patrons as legally it shouldve been, today. Doors were closed where they shouldve been kept open during the early morning. This just allowed recycled air from unmarked individuals. To operate machines you needed to have a million, quarters.

My dryer is currently getting fixed had to dry my clothes so since this place is close to my house why not, walked in and was told that I cant dry my clothes dryers are only for customers that wash clothes. Like I understand that you trying to make money but why deny a paying customer even if I was just going to use the dryers. Dont recommend this place at all lady was rude about it too.

Clean place nice machines good dryers only complaint i would make is that there is no ramp in front of shop to get carts off the side walk. Also if you just need to dry your clothes this is not allowed here. Signs are posted everywhere that says dryers are only for customers who are washing their clothes.

TERRIBLE! The crypt keeper at the door screamed at me because I wanted to use the dryer. WARNING: If you bring in clothes to dry you wont be permitted inside the door. You may only dry clothes if you wash them there.If you enjoy being screamed at like you just stole something, enjoy this god-forsaken place.If its raining and you want to dry your coat, dont go here.If your child spilled something wet on themselves at lunch and your in a bind, dont go here.If you are a sane human being, please, consider not going here.

Cant use there dryers unless u use their washers. Wished i would of known tht b4 going. The owner pushed us out the door pointing at a sign hanging on the back wall.Expensive to wash n dry there. Wont return to do either. Nice money trap tho.

I came in and used 2 of the same washer and used the same amount of soap in both but one washer didn’t wash well and clothes was full of soap I talked 2 the people and got no results so had 2 pay another 6.00 too wash them over it’s very expensive 2 wash here I don’t recommend no one come here.RIP OFF

Im guessing the owner of the place doesnt care to run the AC when its more than a 100 and something degrees inside the facility lol the last experience here was absolutely miserable heat wise, but the best thing about this laundromat is they have wonderful washers and dryers, So the complaining stops and the handling of the business continues lol

Wash only customers. So if your dryer breaks and are in a pinch. Do not come here as you will be asked to leave as their dryers even when 20 of them arent being used are for wash customers only. Imagine McDonalds telling their customers drinks can only be purchased by people getting food.

If your dryer stops and you need to dry a load of clothes you just washed do not go to this laundry mat. They wont let you use their dryers if you didnt wash the clothes there. They are very rude. Go to corner of seaboard and Timaquana. Very clean and super attendants!!!

Kids messy but decent

I just needed to dry my daughters clothes and was told (by him yelling) that the dryers was for people who was washing only... the owner saw me getting out of the car with the basket and still did say anything. He waited until I walked I the door.
