Wow what a great gym! The manager Jasilyn is so sweet and made me feel welcome right off the bat. The trainers are always busy with clients but they were friendly and helpful and even showed me a new move! Awesome club that makes your fitness routine anything but boring.

My fiancé and I just joined this gym a little over a month ago and we love it! The staff here are very friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Jazzlyn signed us up and is such a pleasure to work with. She is so friendly and has been very helpful during our gym transition. The trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly and will answer any questions you have. The owner even came up to us one day seeing that we were new and introduced himself. Very hospitable, not to mention super affordable and theyre open 24 hours. Cant beat that!!!

Daytime access is good but having all time access at night is great. Facilities are nice and clean. Good assortment of equipment but the machines are slightly lacking. There are other cheaper places but they arent actually open 24/7.

Ive been a member since they opened. The gym is great and the staff greater! They all are friendly and helpful. And people of all ages and sizes are there to work out. No intimidating! Highly recommend!

Attended the gym from 2018–summer 2019. My husband and I loved the gym. Friendly staff, always clean, everything you’d want from a gym. We “cancelled” our membership by writing a letter to the financial company twice (because they apparently didn’t receive it the first time) and then made sure it was completely closed out in person at the gym before we left town. Now June of 2020 and I’m getting calls from debt collectors saying I owe $200 for my WorkoutAnytime balance. Extremely frustrating since my husband and I haven’t attended that gym in over a year. Why is this an issue now and why wait till I’m $200 over to call? I feel like the gym is a major money scam.After reading numerous of the same reviews about cancelling memberships the gym should really consider changing their policy.

They are wearing their Matt per protocol and we do keep our distance which is good so I spend maybe 20 to 30 minutes there are three times a week and Im good

If you live in the Oakleaf or even the Orange Park area, then you need to make a trip to this gym! Its facilities are fantastic and offer a wide range of options either for weight lifting or cardio and everything in between. You cant beat the price, workout options, personal trainers or staff, and not to mention it is open 24/7, which is great because my schedule is my toddlers schedule. I encourage anyone who joins to utilize the personal training options they provide there (first session is FREE). MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR ANTHONY. He is simply one of the best personal trainers I have ever had. I felt extremely confident in his weight lifting and personal training knowledge and experience. He was able to answer every question I had with accurate and concise information. He never once pushed me to a limit where I felt uncomfortable, unlike some trainers do, but I always got a great workout and felt amazing on those drives home. He made sure I enjoyed my workouts every time I came in. Honestly, he felt more like a friend then a personal trainer. I recommend 24/7 Workout Anytime to all of my family and friends. Simply a great place to get in shape in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. 10/10!

Ive been working out at this gym 4 months now. Its a great place to work out. The staff are alway nice and helpful. The gym is clean and the equipment is awesome. Now at times it can seem really busy, but never really a problem, and I personally think, that it seems that way, because its a little smaller than alot of gyms. However, this gym has everything you need to do serious work. Also, all of the guest that i have seen, or met, are usually nice and courteous. The gym has a nice atmosphere about it. I feel at home here, and I never feel judged.

Ive been working out here for about 6-8 months now. Its a great gym. Not very big, but it has everything you need to exercise every muscle group. The equipment that is available is suitable for those looking to lose weight, as well as those looking to gain weight. Staff is friendly. Everything is always clean including the bathrooms. There are many like myself that come to lift heavy to gain weight but everyone is respectful and relatively quiet. Two tanning beds and a hydro massage bed if youre into that kind of thing. For $15 dollars a month with 24 hr access its pretty unbeatable if you live in the area.

I wish I wouldve read into the reviews more, but I gave this place a try. The staff is okay, but the trainers have canceled my evaluation/ work out sessions several times already! I tried cancelling my membership due to me moving and it has been a nightmare. At the time of signing up I wasnt told about the hidden extra month you have to pay if you cancel. They dont call it a cancellation fee, but that some bull. Also, the guy (josh) told me that the annual fee would be charged after 45 days, but guess what yall, the manager told me If I wouldve waited 5 more days they wouldve charged me; and I was only there for 2 weeks! Their membership agreement is in fine print on a small screen! If you decide going here anyways ask for a printed agreement! I trusted their explanation of the agreement, led me wrong.And I know their going to respond, dont believe the lies. I wouldve gave it a ONE star, but staff do try to keep the place clean.

My fiancé and I got a membership a year ago now and weren’t able to use it due to a death in the family and dealing with that. Called to cancel and was told I have to send a letter to the billing company with the reason for canceling. Yes, you heard me right, a letter. I’m sorry but why is a letter with my reasoning needed!? I will hand deliver this myself if that’s what I need to do to make sure this goes smoothly. Yes I do understand this is what I signed apparently. From the other reviews I have read, it seems this company is stealing money. I will be contacting their “billing company” tomorrow to see what they say since they are now closed. We have been through enough and I will be more than happy to get my attorney to help me through this as well. Stay tuned.

I stopped by to evaluate the gym. I started by telling them I was just looking around. Not signing up that day. Regardless the hard sale was on. I explained was waiting on medical clearance, not ready yet. The hard sale just didnt stop. I left and wont be signing up there.

I work for reputable construction company in Arglye Forest. Today I walked in and spoke with Dan C. I explained to him that I was under contract to work for a few months and that I didnt live on this side of town. I let him know I have a membership elsewhere and I was thinking of trying a gym on this side of town because I dont know how long the contract is going to last. It could be for 3 months or it could be for 6 months. I live near the beaches and I am usually too tired to go to the gym after the one hour commute. Dan starts to berate me saying Im sick of you people coming in here trying to get a free membership. Let me tell you something that you dont walk into a gym and say you dont live on this side of town and that you want a free membership. He had the worst stink attitude and a chip on his shoulder the whole time we talked. I was embarrassed and so uncomfortable. I sarcastically​ said Wow you just sold me on a member ship. He says youll be sold if you can pay the fee and dues. He gave me a week trial membership but I dont want to go there. I would never spend money at a place that gives that first impression. I think maybe it was because I was dressed in my work clothes and I didnt look upper class? I literally just got off of the job site. My company has over 100 employees working at that site. I would have no problem referring my coworkers. But this is not a place I would send anyone to workout. That was my first impression. I would hate to pay money for a membership and find out later down the road that the employees have the audacity to treat someone this way. Im glad I didnt pay first and have to go through the hassle of cancellation. Ill take my money elsewhere.

Fantastic gym. Being able to choose the time you can workout is just awesome. You workout without interference of sharing the equipments which sometimes breaks your workout routine.

Great gym. Lots of different machines to use and plenty of free weights. A few muscle heads that spend over an hour on the squat rack but thats not every day. Shaquille is awesome. He will show you how to do anything youre not familiar with and make sure you use the correct form so you dont hurt yourself.I have heard that trying to get out of your membership is an absolute nightmare but I dont see that being something I have to look into in the near future.

Nice place, easy to access, but you cant bring friends. Also, if you want to cancel your membership its not easy. They make you write a letter and they charge you one more month after you cancel.

The gym is decent, but Im entirely unimpressed with the customer service. My wife and I both had accounts linked to a debit card that expired in May. After receiving my replacement, I went directly to the gym to update my information. Several weeks later, I received a notification that the card had been declined for my wifes account, but not mine. I went back to the gym and spoke with the same representative about this issue and he informed me that the expiration date had been entered incorrectly. I gave him the correct information and naturally assumed that this problem was over. I was wildly incorrect. Over the next two months, I received multiple notifications indicating a declined payment on my wifes account. Each time I went in to speak with a representative at the front desk and was told huh, thats weird. Let me take a look at your account. Okay youre good to go. In July, my wife was finally slapped with a collections notification due to lack of payment on my wifes account. I took the notification to the gym and asked to speak to a manager about the issue. The sales manager simply told me to pay the collections company. Im not sure if he didnt understand the negative impact of bill collectors on a persons credit report or just didnt want to deal with it. After explaining that I wanted them to contact the collections company and retract this bill due to the fact that I had tried countless times to pay it, he assured me he would talk to the general manager and correct the situation. I then asked to pay the bill directly through the club. He stated he needed an updated credit card on my wifes account (clearly indicative that my MULTIPLE visits to update the account information were completely ignored). I gave him the card, but it wasnt until two days later when I contacted the gym AGAIN to follow up that I was actually charged and given a receipt. Its now been over a month and I have yet to receive a single call from anyone at Workout Anytime stating that they followed through on their promise to correct this situation. I called the collections company myself (which seemed like a scam company in and of itself), gave them the receipt number from the delinquent payment I made directly to the club, and was assured that they would reach out to the club and close the account. I understand that most negative reviews come from disgruntled, lazy customers who dont pay their bills and feel violated when collections companies come after them for legitimate cause. Im not one of those people. My wife and I arent careless or irresponsible and its disappointing to see the black eye that this has put on my wifes otherwise incident-free credit history. Moreover, Im disappointed in the complete lack of professionalism and egregious laziness of the Workout Anytime employees who failed to 1) correct this simple problem in the first place and 2) take responsibility and follow through on the promise to correct this issue with the collections company and keep solid communication with us through the process. Ill never be taking my business here again.

When I decided to cancel the membership I filled out the cancellation form that I was instructed to fill out however the following month money was pulled out of the account. I called the gym and spoke to a female employee and she informed me that it takes 30 days for the cancellation to take effect and that I wasnt going to be charged again. So I paid for another month, OK. Next month comes and once again Im being charged! So, I called the gym and he confirmed that they had my cancellation notice in. He then told me that he was forwarding it to the office to get my refund processed and that I would get a call from them to ensure I was taken care of. Another 3 weeks go by and yet another payment is pulled out! This time when I called they are telling me that my membership is active and has not been canceled! No refund! I couldnt beleive what I was hearing?!? I requested to speak with the owner as the employee was unhelpful and this has been going on for months! This is ridiculous! A person should be able to cancel a membership they are not using without having to go through all this! I was denied a contact information to someone higher up and they are refusing to process a refund and cancel my membership! Well, it gets worse.. They now have turned me into a credit agency and are ruining my excellent credit! What kind of business are you running?!?!? Since I cannot get any contact information to your main office this review is going up. Make it right or Im getting an attorney as this is a SCAM!

For the most part I really like working out here because they are very nice but they changed the details of my contract and it kind of upset me and my wife. I pray extra so that I can bring anyone as many times as I want to and all of a sudden they said that you cannot bring the same person multiple times because of that I may consider joining a different gym. Really disappointed that they changed things up

Great place for beginner to intermediate gym users. One one bench press and limited floor space. But tanning and message bed is nice.

We never had time to visit this location and had actually was able to go twice due to work. We joined this club with our other district managers. After paying month after month and unable to attend we went on line to their web site, filled out the cancellation of the gym and was told that was all we needed to do, after checking my checking account, they kept automatically taking the money from my account!! This also happened to two others who cancelled. I immediately called the location and was spoken to very rudely and I called my bank and put a stop to them withdrawing my money automatically especially since I cancelled the membership and talked to them personally. Now, I have a credit agency calling me... Mind you.. My credit score was rated excellent.. They turned me into a credit agency !! This is ridiculous!! Im getting copies of my credit report and then taking it to an attorney. This could impact me for thousands of dollars on interest fees being higher due to this fraudulent company. I will be reporting them to the BBB, the media, Facebook, and anyone else. Do not join this gym!!!

I have had similar difficulty if not more, as with most people, trying to cancel. I emailed the sales manager back in Oct., and mailed a letter...BUT then I was told via email almost a month later (from the same sales manager, Dan, from other bad reviews) that I had to cancel in person....I reviewed the contract...it says in writing not in person. He saw his mistake so I sent a 2nd letter with the final payment and I was told by him that he got the letter but not the payment. The check was inside the same envelope. So I had to put a stop payment on the check. Now I was told that I can provide my card info by phone (why they didnt do that to begin with is mind boggling) but I fear providing my new card information to this place to make the payment. ALSO, I will be changing my checking account number since there is a check of mine floating around out there somewhere. The back and forth and the strange responses have been never-ending. I have been out of town and trying to get this done! I will most likely have to contact a lawyer again and call the Workout Anytime franchise.

During the contracted period of 1 year with the family plan everything was great. The problem happened after my contract had ended. When I saw that they had billed me for the next month I called to cancel my membership. Since this gym is normally a month to month gym, this shouldnt have been an issue. They informed me that i had to send a letter into another address to cancel my membership and that the extra billed month would not be credited. I mailed the letter in the very next day and thought that would be the end of it. I called almost a month later to make sure that they received my cancellation and they had nothing in their system. Dan (manager) at the argyle location had an attitude like it wasnt his problem and said I had to send in the cancellation with a certified letter. Sounds like a scam to just continue to bill people who have already tried to cancel.

Small place

Its a nice gym with options for free weights and machine weights. Plenty of treadmills and the monthly payment is under 20 bucks. 24 hour access. It gets crowded during peak hours and Id like to see more incline and decline benches.

Seems to be going downhill over the past few months. Some of the equipment could use some maintenance or pad replacements. Could use a few more machines but does not have the space for them. Have heard several complaints about the bulbs in the tanning beds being the wrong ones. Spray and paper towels are almost always out leaving machines unwiped and dirty.

A good, small gym. Not overly crowded and a lot of cardio options. Free weights and machines. Training booth and water massage.

Definitely worth the $10/mo membership fee for those looking for 24hr access to machine and cardio work. 24 hour access is rare, so points. Also the facility is clean and organized. Equipment is a little worn here and there, barbell knurling was worn but useable and supportive padding on several machines worn, but nothing uncomfortable or unsafe. However, only one squat rack and bench and limited room for any heavy/serious barbell work, or any non machine work due to limited floor space. There is a decent dumbbell selection with several adjustable benches. Personal pet peeves: overhead lighting directly above the bench means you’re staring into a bright light trying to find right hand position on the bar with worn knurling, I found the plates useable but odd (built in plastic handles I wouldn’t trust to drop), bench pad was super slippery, and just cramped in general with no real space for calisthenics or stretching/warmup/cooldown with several people finding room between equipment.

Piss poor management. Waste of time and money. Id rather be at planet fitness. Dont believe just visit. Place hasnt been cleaned since it opened.....In response to whoever claims to have contacted me. Youre an absolute liar. How could I be behind in payments my first time entering the gym? Apparently you have no clue.

Its been 3 months since my last review. We were told we needed to write a letter with the reason why we canceling and send it in. Well we wrote the letter but instead of sending it in and waiting we went to the billing office here in jax and handed it to them. Got them to sign it and make a copy for us. They did stop billing right away. I have since joined planet fitness lol 👍😁Since this last review ^^ just recently a week ago the billing company contacted my husband saying we owed money. My husband contacted the gym which waived whatever we supposedly owed. Hopefully this is the last we hear from them. Still happy at Planet Fitness :)

Workout Anytime is a small discount gym that allows you to get a membership on a month-to-month basis rather than being stuck in a contract. I had previously been a member of Planet Fitness but found it difficult to be able to workout in the hours that they were open and didnt want to pay the higher price for late night access. Workout Anytime has the benefit of being open 24/7 although they are only staffed during limited hours.I have not yet spent significant time her but from my first experience, the gym is smaller than I expected but is nice and modern and clean. Outside of cardio equipment (of which there seems to be plenty), there appears to be only 1 or occassionally 2 of each of the main pieces of gym equipment available. This may not matter at non-peak hours but I can see it being a huge headache for those who come during the busy times. You may find yourself having to alter your workout to accomodate busy machines/weight systems. The free-weight area is not much more extensive. They have everything you need but once again, there is only 1 to be shared by everyone. I know that at PF, the Smith stands were constantly being waited on and with only 1 in this gym I can see that being an annoyance.However, on the positive note, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is reasonably cheap but about the same (just with different perks) as PF. There is no long-term contract which is a huge plus but they do tack on some fees that they dont bother to mention on their website like a $49 enrollment fee and a $29 yearly maintenance fee (regardless of the fact that you have no contract). So, if you really calculated it out, on a yearly basis you are really paying more like $25/month.That said, this gym is the closest one to my house so Im hoping that helps me start to lose the chub.

Do not under any circumstances get a membership to the gym. Gym is constantly overcrowded. But whats worse is the cancellation process, they make you physically write and mail a letter stating why you want to cancel plus an agreement number. If you just cancel your debit card they will continue to bill you and then put you in collections. This is a very bad business practice. Do yourself a favor and dont get yourself involved with this shady business.

Signed up and was told the plan I chose included bring my wife but my wife and I came in one night and the manager told us the guy that gave us the info lied to me. Canceled my account and will never visit that place again. The employees lie and then all of a sudden they tell you and doesn’t do anything but say we’re sorry. Away with the fly by night gyms !!!After seeing the response I called the gym to get in contact with Mike and was told they cant give his number out.

Wife tried to cancel today and you have to snail mail (this is the digital age!) in a letter of cancellation that doesnt even take effect until the day they get it. Also, you still get charged 30 days after they get the letter. Big hassle. Will report back to see if anything happens and if they actually cancel the membership.

Gym was nice but when I moved they made it extremely complicated to cancel membership.

Its conveniently located and inexpensive, but if anything in the gym needs replacing (i.e. the arm curl pad when its cracked and cutting into your skin) it will take months and make you question where your annual maintenance fee is going.
